The Purpose of a Woman: Being the Woman that God Created me to be
When God created woman, he had a beautiful plan for womanhood. It is essential for women to discover and lives out God's plan for their life. Also, God has a purpose for a woman and desire she fills this purpose, so she is free to be the woman he created her to be. To be free, she needs to know the role she plays today. God gave a woman one of the highest privileges in the world, that of giving birth, caring and nurturing a living soul. There are several things a female may wander in search of her purpose, such as: were women and men created as equal? Did God create women to be leaders? Whether you are a woman, who is married or singles it is vital to know your purpose and becomes the woman God created you to be.
The woman was created last, and there was a reason God made woman last. Although I don't have the answer as to why she was built last, I believe God saved the best for last. But then again, He might have wanted the man to have the best of his creation that why He created a woman for man. As a woman, the purpose is to be a helpmate to man. The man needs for a female to be his helper. The woman came into existence because God saw that man was alone. The woman was created because God felt it is not good for the man to be lonely.
For this reason, a woman was created with a definite purpose. Although the man was created first, he was not designed with a purpose. He was set up in a seemingly deliberate way without a goal. God created man in His own image, but a woman came into life with a given purpose in mind, to be a man’s helpmate. God created a woman with values and a purpose. What God desires is for women to know that she is valuable to not only man but the world.
Because a female carries so much weight on her shoulders and has so many responsibilities like taking care of a husband and children, an ideal career, being supportive of friends, and the people around her. Her husband, children, and everybody that depends on her has full faith in her and lacks nothing of value. Women are capable, intelligent and reliable worthy females who inspire those who rely on them the most. A smart woman will realize and have the ability to see in the sight of God; it takes a male and a female together to make up the complete of "man."
Below is my story how I learn my purpose as a woman and how I learned to be free to be me, the woman God created me to be.
When I was a little girl, I always knew I was different from other children. I wanted to understand who I was and be free to be me, and I thought I had every aspect of my life figured out. I can remember growing up from a small child, raised to believe that I did not have to fear anything I could not change. It was as if God Himself told me to fear not my little ones…..I am with you; you will learn to understand who you are and know you have more strength than you realize. However, at the age of nineteen years, when it was time to face the reality of adulthood I found myself wondering who I am? Leaving home and learning growing up in a vast world is entirely different.
To have a life worth living, I had to negotiate my way through to adulthood, and it has been more challenging than I could have ever imagined. I learned wars were already waged for my destiny, and I had to fit many puzzle pieces together to create my life. Despite that, I often heard God would shake my enemy loose from my life and cut them off long before they can hurt me. I felt the quaking under my feet, but God gave me favors for I am highly favored in Him, and none of my enemies can hurt me.
Trying to build a new life made me realize things do not always come easy. There were days where I believed that I could do anything; then there were times when I felt I could do nothing right in life. I found myself dissatisfied with my weaknesses and struggle, and that is when I realized life is not a fairy-tale as I imagine growing up as a child. Nonetheless, right in the midst of the taunting of my enemies God stepped in and proved he would never leave me nor forsake me as He helps me make decisions and gave me wisdom, so I will understand how to defeat my enemies.
After just a year of moving out on my own, I got a couple of dents in my fender, but that is how I figured out what to do with my life. The first year was a year of enormous changes, so I spend a lot of time praying and crying that I know moved God to answer me. For He could have turned away from me, but the Living God encourages and equipped me even fiercer, and I learn how to be free to be me and how to become the young woman God originated me to be.
After the second year on my own, I felt I was moving forward and upward, becoming the resulting advanced version of myself. Until I found a moment that aimed at me which was not my will or my strength. The problems come when we temporarily lose track of where your actual strength and help come from. However, God loves for Me has taken aback any loss, and He loves ME even more. Then I learn my blessings were merely not getting the big head but were just a blessing when I truly believe in myself, be true to myself and that how I can become my true beautiful self.
It was then that I realized that on my own, I am all fingers and thumbs but through the love of God, I can surely survive, even with an enormous weight on my shoulders, and I can grow. For it is God who has a purpose for my life, and His wish for me is that I am free. Therefore, I desired to be free to be me, more real, more loving, and more faithful to God, more of what He wants from me and most of all, more me to enjoy becoming, even more, my true beautiful self.
Being a chosen vessel, I encountered steep trail and challenges. Nonetheless, the problems came mainly when I decide to do and think my way, instead of doing things the right way. I had to learn to stop feeling like I am not living up to your potential in life so that I can live up to my full purpose. Especially when I knew I was not doing at all, what I was meant to be doing.
Being a chosen vessel of God growing up in a Christian environment is entirely different from how other children grow and live. When God chooses you, there isn’t anything you can do but submit to him. You are different and to know whom you are meant to be, you learn by reading the Bible and God’s love and grace he shares with you, on your life’s journey.
To live the life of a chosen vessel of God, many keep a watchful eye on you. They judge and create many problems and struggles as they try to destroy who and what you are meant to be. Also, they read any false story written, and it is easy for them to believe anything said about you.
All chosen vessels experience enormous pressure as they strive to be more than ordinary. However, if they allow God to lead and they allow Him, to place them in their rightful place in life, things are much easier. Also, they will learn how to love, respect, feel and manage all of the emotions that come with being a chosen vessel. Managing the emotion means we can let go of the expectation that people hold over us that no longer serve us.
Although being a chosen vessel comes with great trials, being a female vessel selected comes with even more significant challenges. It was not until I turned thirty years of age that I took my role as a chosen vessel seriously. I began reading and studying the word of God on a daily basis. I studied how to conceal the promise of God in my heart and learn what it truly means to be a chosen vessel.
Bible’s Scriptures I memorized to be a chosen woman of God
• I Peter 2:9 (ESV)But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1. John 15: 16(ESV) You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
2. Deuteronomy 14: 2(ESV) For you are a people holy to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
3. I Timothy 2: 9-10 (ESV) likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works
4. Colossians 3: 18-24 (ESV)Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged. Bondservants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eyeservice, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
•Matthew 22: 14(ESV) For many are called, but few are chosen.
• Ephesians 1: 3-4(ESV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be Holy and blameless before him.
• Deuteronomy 14:2(ESV) For you are a people holy to the Lord your God, and the Lord had chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the people who are on the face of the earth.
• 2 Thessalonians 2:14(ESV) To this he is called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
These are a few of the many scriptures that helped me to understand indeed how to be a chosen woman of God and know that God has a plan for my life. They also helped me to understand the instruction God has left for me on how to be a chosen woman of God. Being an elected woman of God means I have to strive against sin, and I am to be pure as well as having self-control in my everyday life.
The most challenging part of learning how to be a chosen woman of God was to understand how to doubt the commitment about myself. What I mean is, I had to get to commit myself to God and my husband as well. My husband being the head of the house and God is the head of my life was not easy to separate at first.
There were many struggles and fears that I faced, but memorizing the above scriptures and committing myself entirely to God help me in many ways. God gave me the wisdom how to submit myself to my husband and be the mother of my children. Placing the blessings of my home, my possessions, and my family in God’s loving hands gave me the strength to accept my calling as a chosen vessel to be free to be me and becoming the young woman of God he wanted me to be.
Do you believe we should be free to be us & become the person God created us to be?
