John Titor - Time Traveler Photos

Updated on October 7, 2014

Could John Titor have been a real time traveler?

John Titor was the pseudonym of a person who claimed to be a time traveler from the year 2036. He appeared in internet chat rooms and on message board forums for a few months back in the winter of 2000 to 2001.

Many people believe John Titor's claims about time travel could be valid. I am one of those people.

Of course, there are many scoffers too. I will put up with the jeers and go ahead to tell you exactly what I've learned about John Titor - and why I believe this could be a real time traveler.

The image above is a drawing John Titor sent via the Internet, showing the official insignia of his 2036 time travel military unit. Since Mr. Titor has supposedly returned to the year 2036, it is unlikely he's concerned about copyright issues in the present year. These images have been posted and distributed on various internet sites ever since he disappeared.

More Prophecies of John Titor - What else do we need to know?

  1. My first experience with war came when I joined a shotgun infantry unit at the age of thirteen. In the 4 years I served as a "rebel", I watched hundreds of people get shot, burn and bleed to death. I know exactly where I was and every detail of the exact moment the first nuclear warheads began falling on Jacksonville.' (November 21, 2000)
  2. When asked, 'Are you here now to observe the results of the presidential election?' he replied, 'I would use the word "elections" a bit cautiously. Perhaps it's easier now to see a civil war in your future?' (November 11, 2000)
  3. 'We have cars, just not a whole bunch of them. There is public transportation from city to city.' (November 7, 2000)
  4. 'The Constitution was changed after the war. We have 5 presidents that are voted in and out on different term periods. The vice president is the president of the senate and they are voted separately.' 'If I could bring some material thing back to your time from 2036, it would be a copy of the new US Constitution.' (November 7, 2000)
  5. 'Far less medical treatment in the future even though It's more advanced. People die when they know it's time to die. No lasers. Genetic medicine and cloning organs are the obvious new techs in the future.' (November 7, 2000)

Prophecies of John Titor - ...according to his knowledge of our future.

Not all of John Titor's prophecies are included in this list. I include only a few prophecies from the early days of his year 2000 Internet postings. If you want to read his entire collection of writings, please go to my source.

  1. 'A world war in 2015 killed nearly three billion people. The people that survived grew closer together. Life is centered on the family and then the community. I cannot imagine living even a few hundred miles away from my parents.' (November 4, 2000)
  2. '... the ice caps are not melting any faster than they are now. There is also far less smog and industrial waste in 2036.' (November 6, 2000)
  3. 'Life is much more rural in the future but "high" technology is used to communicate and travel. People raise a great deal of their own food and do more "farm" work. Yes, compared to now, we do work long hours.' (November 7, 2000)
  4. 'Yes, there is a post office. The Internet is still alive and well in the future. People spend more time talking because life is more centered on the community. I've noticed the same type of effect here when the power goes off. People tend to come out of their homes and actually spend time with their neighbors. There is a lot more personal trust and less paranoia.' (November 7, 2000)
  5. 'There is a civil war in the United States that starts in 2005. That conflict flares up and down for 10 years. In 2015, Russia launches a nuclear strike against the major cities in the United States (which is the "other side" of the civil war from my perspective), China and Europe. The United States counter attacks. The US cities are destroyed along with the AFE (American Federal Empire)...thus we (in the country) won. The European Union and China were also destroyed. Russia is now our largest trading partner and the Capitol of the US was moved to Omaha Nebraska.' (November 7, 2000)
  6. '[In the future] Hydrogen fuel cells and more efficient solar cells are big deals. Computer technology and software get MUCH better.' (November 7, 2000)
  7. 'After the war, early new communities gathered around the current Universities. That's where the libraries were. I went to school at Fort UF, which is now called the University of Florida. Not too much is different except the military is large part of people's life and we spend a great deal of time in the fields and farms at the "University" or Fort.' (November 7, 2000)
  8. 'Yes, we have cameras. More digital. Film is used like painting is today.' (November 7, 2000)
  9. 'Yes we have phones but the service is through the web. Most power generation is localized. It amazes me how much power is wasted now. Yes, solar is big. There is thought that a singularity generator could also be used but most people are against it.' (November 7, 2000)
  10. 'The elderly are highly revered and looked after on a community level. So are orphans. There is always something people can do now matter what. The idea of avoiding work is looked down on. Everyone pulls together to keep the COMMUNITY strong.

'Hats are more common in the future and flashy colors are less common. Dress is much more functional and we "dress up" whenever we get a chance. I have noticed that no one in this time dresses for occasions even when they have the clothes. Why do people wear shorts to church?

'We do not spend nearly the amount of time on our hair as people do now. Women like to wear their hair longer and men have it much shorter. Both sexes shave it all off when they're in active military service.' (November 7, 2000)

The Story of John Titor

...who John Titor was and where he came from.

John Titor told us he was born in 1998. He grew up in Florida, participated in a civil war, and was employed by the military in the year 2036.

He wrote, "When I was 13, I was a soldier. As a teenager, I helped my dad haul cargo. I went to college when I was 31 and I was recruited to 'time travel' shortly after that."

He explained, "In 2036, a great deal of effort is going into 'repairing' our environment. I was sent to 1975 to get a computer system and take it back to 2036."

Later he explained more: "The first 'leg' of my trip was from 2036 to 1975. After two VGL checks, the divergence was estimated at about 2.5% (from my 2036). I was 'sent' to get an IBM computer system called the 5100. It was one the first portable computers made and it has the ability to read the older IBM programming languages in addition to APL and Basic. We need they (sic) system to 'debug' various legacy computer programs in 2036. UNIX has a problem in 2038."

From 1975, he decided to travel to the year 2000 where he was living with his parents and his 2-year-old self.

He traveled back in time in a 1967 Chevy - which he sold in the year 2000. He first saw that car in 2036. It was chosen because his first destination was to be 1975 and the car would be inconspicuous for that time period. His new car was a 1987 4WD, which he planned to return to 2036 in.

John Titor described his life in 2036 in many ways. Here is one paragraph from the collected writings: "My greatest joy is sailing. For fun, I enjoy swimming, playing cards, reading, playing games on the net and talking with people who live in other countries. As a community, we celebrate much more and have bon fires and dances. My hobby is sorting through old magazines and videos of life before the war." He was referring to a civil war in the USA culminating in an attack on America by Russia in 2015.

His observations of life in our civilization during the year 2000 were not flattering: "I watch every day what you are doing as a society. While you sit by and watch your Constitution being torn away from you, you willfully eat poisoned food, buy manufactured products no one needs and turn an uncaring eye away from millions of people suffering and dying all around you. . . . Perhaps I should let you all in on a little secret. No one likes you in the future. This time period is looked at as being full of lazy, self-centered, civically ignorant sheep. Perhaps you should be less concerned about me and more concerned about that."

I feel the writings of John Titor are valuable for just that reason, as well as other reasons. Studying what he wrote gives one a chance for introspection, plus gives clues for what we might experience in the near future.

Understand how time-travel works - This is a book for writers, but anyone could learn about time-travel from it.

Time Travel: A Writer's Guide to the Real Science of Plausible Time Travel
Time Travel: A Writer's Guide to the Real Science of Plausible Time Travel

This book is written by a scientist for lay-persons without much background on how time-travel works.

Writers who want to create science fiction need to have a good basic understanding of the principles of time travel.

This book is a painless way to learn more, because time travel is a real possibility, and of course, it is very popular in fiction!

John Titor suggested that we should own a bicycle... - ...and spare bike tires!

Transportation issues may become serious in the future, and the ability to get around, priceless...

Do you own a bicycle with spare tubes?

About that revolution predicted by John Titor - Did it happen? Will it?

The main reason why people visiting this page don't believe John Titor was a real time traveler is... that a civil war hasn't happened yet.

John Titor, however, was from another dimension, similar to ours, but not exactly the same. He used the term "worldline" to describe his separate reality.

In our worldline, a revolution hasn't taken place, but during the last decade since John Titor appeared online, it has become clear to everyone that a revolution is brewing, and might possibly be in our future. Tensions have escalated exponentially since 2000, back when most people thought the USA was pretty-much a fine place to live.

Many people are trying to keep it in a non-violent form, perhaps in part because we were warned by John Titor before it could happen. Perhaps this is a way a time traveler could disturb a visited worldline.

If you're still not convinced there's a revolution in the USA, you're welcome to watch some of the videos below.

The John Titor Book - ...this book about John Titor is out of print

John Titor A Time Traveler's Tale
John Titor A Time Traveler's Tale

This book is now a collector's item.

The writings of John Titor were supposedly compiled and put into book form by his mother - anonymously through her lawyer.

At the time of this page being built in 2008, there was a copy for sale on Amazon (used) for $395.00!

Fortunately, almost everything in the book is also available for free on the web at John Titor - Time Traveler. Maybe that's why it hasn't been reprinted.

The Time Machine

...actual photos of a machine John Titor claimed transported him through time.

On the first day John Titor appeared online, November 2, 2000, he wrote,

"The basics for time travel start at CERN in about a year and end in 2034 with the first "time machine" built by GE."

Later in the day he wrote:

"I saw the posting requesting the basic systems for a gravity distortion system that will allow time travel. Here they are:

1. Magnetic housing units for dual microsignularities.

2. Electron injection manifold to alter mass and gravity of microsingularities.

3. Cooling and x-ray venting system

4. Gravity sensors (VGL system)

5. Main clocks (4 cesium units)

6. Main computer units (3)"

About Time Travel - ...things John Titor told us about time travel.

Please understand that I'm unable to include all the time travel information, which is voluminous. If you want to read the entire collection of John Titor writings, please go to my source.

  1. "While the machine is on, everything is black. When the machine is turned off, it is the reverse affect. It appears you are driving out from a bridge. To tell you the truth, I'm usually sleeping when the unit turns off but yes, it does appear that the world fades in from black." (November 4, 2000)
  2. "The only real physical trace is a large chunk of ground missing from the point of origin and a large pile of dirt at the destination. The gravity field surrounds a small portion of the earth under you and takes it along for the ride. There is really no way around this." (November 4, 2000)
  3. "When traveling to other worldlines there is a system of clocks and gravity sensors in the machine that sample the environment before dropping out. It's called VGL, (variable gravity lock). If a cement block were there, the machine would "backtrack" until it sensed relative congruity to the original gravity sample. A great deal of time and effort goes into picking just the right spot since you cannot physically move during a displacement." (November 6, 2000)
  4. "Time travel is achieved by altering gravity. This concept is already proven by atomic clock experiments. The closer an observer is to a gravity source (high mass), the slower time passes for them." (November 7, 2000)
  5. "By rotating two electric microsigularities at high speed, it is possible to create and modify a local gravity sinusoid that replicates the affects of a Kerr black hole." (November 7, 2000)
  6. "The computer system is connected to the unit through an electrical bus. There are actually three computers linked together that take the same signals from the gravity sensors and clocks. They use a Borda error correcting protocol that checks the integrity of the data and trips the VGL system." (November 7, 2000)
  7. "Personally, I think 'UFOs' might be time travelers with very sophisticated distortion units." (November 7, 2000)
  8. "It is thought that being close to a gravitational field has a biological effect on all matter including cells. The effect is to slow the movement of electrons in the orbits of their nucleus, which slows the mechanical and biological functions of the observer close to the gravity. Thus the passing of time is a local phenomenon depending on how close you are to a gravitational source." (November 17, 2000)

Time Travel - is it really possible?? - What's your opinion?

Do you believe time travel is really possible?

Of course it is.

Of course it is.

      2013 , São Paulo , é logico que eu acredito tudo é possivel !

    • anonymous 3 years ago

time travel or traveling to a parallel deamination probability I say yes but I do not see the chance to go back in your own deamination no

    • oooMARSooo LM 4 years ago

I do believe that time travel is possible, though I believe we're a long, long way from harnessing the power of "micro-singularities." I also think John Titor was actually a very talented and very young writer from the year 2000; however, I hope whomever it was who wrote the works of John Titor has a long, happy and life free from war and strife. Actually, I wish that for us all...

      CAPTCHA: "friends" ...awwwww.... :)

    • anonymous 4 years ago

I say yes but a lot of what is being said doesn't make sense. I haven't had him yet. Meaning given birth to him.....

    • anonymous 4 years ago

Yes, at least I want it to be. I mean everybody wants to experience time travel right?

And even though the predictions are not true, it might have been because we knew what was coming and prevented it from happening thus the multiverse theory..

    • hovirag 4 years ago

I know it is possible and I also know that most predictions are true until we human beings don't change our thought patterns - that's why most predictions never fulfil...

If we evolve in love we can change the whole world around us - that's the greatest miracle we can do to ourselves

    • GypsyRoseLemieux 4 years ago

Very possible. The government uses it, and have programs. .

    • anonymous 4 years ago

very possible , check out Andrew Bisagio, he explains his experiences in secret U.S. Gov.

program's which are very similar to what John is describing .according to Andrew,Time travel

was developed in the late 60's and the technology was discovered through Nicola Tesla's

papers which were recovered by the U.S. Gov after his death in 1942. Time travel has been in development for over 60 years with working systems in around 1966, 1967. I'm pretty sure it started out with crude systems which are much more advanced now. If you don't think Time Travel is real ............Think again . Check out Al Belick , He's another informed whistle blower who participated in many secret time travel experiments and programs from the 1940s .. Some really fascinating information If it's real. Yes I'm pretty sure time travel does exist and has been secretly in our culture for decades . C.Davis,Ann Arbor, Mi.

    • knit1tat2 4 years ago

of course, and it has been proven to me many times, in remote viewing, etc. as well as the traditional ways.

I want everyone to know and look into the rising tensions of Syria and Israel. The rising tensions between America and Syria. Weapons of mass biological warfare. Come on.. we all know the future beckons a civil war. I mean a war in general. He is right about how lazy we have gotten. Unless this man knew what Happened, he would never have been able to guess the change in the pattern of normal living like he did.

    • anonymous 4 years ago

time travel is possible with the use of an exotic matter they could use it as a to stop a worm hole collapsing via canceling gravity the god partial is most likely the exotic matter needed if colider is used once fixed in 2015 it would run at full apparently i could do some form of time travel/time distortion if they tried according to Russian scientists they where adamant about it Stines;Gate also Titor's comments started to collapses near the end and clashing BUT!!! its interesting i want to found out who the person is if only it could be traced back via ip or number 'IF' he is real at least we would find something anyway

    • anonymous 4 years ago

yes, look, in 2036 not only john titor can use time travel. and then, that's why john titor's prediction are not 100% accurate. so, with it, maybe some people in 2036 or more (who can use time travel) came to 2001-now, to make that john titor's prediction wrong, and change our history. see?

    • anonymous 4 years ago

      Don't misused the website.

    • anonymous 4 years ago

Yes in the future with better technology. It will be invented by mistake. The spaceships used will travel at such high speeds that it will alter time.I wish it was that time now, it would be so awesome! Maybe by the year 2100 they will have the fuel and spaceship designs together, but I think it will be before then. But yes time travel is possible.

    • Allison Whitehead 4 years ago

Yes, why shouldn't it be? I think this is more than just a concept or idea.

    • ManfromModesto LM 4 years ago

      Yes.

    • anonymous 4 years ago

Time travel is already utilized by US black projects, and has since at least the first half of the 20th century. The U.S. did not entirely come up with the technology on its own.

    • anonymous 4 years ago

While Titor wasn't 100% correct he did have a few correct predictions. Like he said the president after our next one would have a fascination with Lincoln, well that's Obama. I'm saying that with the different world lines it is possible that we are simply moving on a different world line that he came from which while has some similarities is not the same. It could be that maybe the predictions are correct but his prediction of when is off. Or maybe he somehow already fixed what was going to happen enough so we aren't plunged into a civil war. Either way its interesting and can be plausible.

    • cjbmeb14 lm 4 years ago

      Time travel is possible yes!

But, not with altering gravity or by use of atomic substances. Time travel is all about speed.

    You gotta be kidding!

        hogwash

      • anonymous 4 years ago

It is now 2013, and a LOT of the things Titor talked about did not happen, did not come true, and many things mentioned are so far out and disprovable by conventional physics and commonly accepted general engineering practices, that you really have to be a layperson to the mechanics to believe him at all. That, and consider this: If he could come through space-time, and be clothed in doing so, why didn't he bring a few simple documents, some data, and maybe a small futuristic gadget that worked, to prove it? I mean, if you KNEW you were going to 1975, why wouldn't you go to a broker and tell him to buy Apple stocks for you? Maybe invest some money in gold (at $40 an ounce at the time)? Lot of things you could have done to advance yourself, as well as undeniably prove you did travel time - to end up showing a few science fair gadget pictures, and making a lot of promises to a world he admittedly KNEW was paranoid and doubtful. I don't believe a word he says, as a result.

      • anonymous 4 years ago

I'm kind of 50/ 50 on this. I believe the concept of time travel could be true. However, we didn't have a civil war in 2005. Now that it's 2013, I can't imagine us making that much progress in two years. While I wish this was true, (the world would be a better place it seems), I kind of don't think it is.

      • anonymous 4 years ago

I smell bullshit!!!! coming from the legendary John Titor WTF was he thinking

      • anonymous 4 years ago

this is probably bupkis; but entertaining this idea- who is to say these predictions have ANY meaning to us if he comes from a future that in our universe hasn't been written yet? A parallel universe many of the future events could have never occurred yet based on him even giving the predictions. Him taking the computer from the 70s could have even changed our own future and his.

      • Linda Jo Martin 4 years ago from Post Falls, Idaho, USA

@anonymous: Suppressed civil war. That's all I see. A lot of unhappy people who would do something if they really thought they could. I think they're waiting... and am not sure they'll ever be ready. Suppressed - by fear, by tv brainwashing, by HAARP... who knows? But few are willing to put their lives on the line at this point. That doesn't mean they're happy or that they think the government is doing the right things. It is a strange world we live in. I'm just going to wait and see along with everyone else. As a sixty year old woman who has been a peace lover all my life, I'm definitely not going to be the one to start anything. Some think there will be a huge reaction after the election. For example, if the present president isn't re-elected, there could be race riots.

      • anonymous 4 years ago

Welp, It's 2012.. No civil war.

      • anonymous 5 years ago

If John Titor had travelled through time, he would have told us of 911.

      • JGracey 5 years ago

I suppose anything is possible, but it's doubtful this Titor guy is any sort of time traveler from the future. Um, his mode of transportation is rather similar to that of Back to the Future (movie). and I must have missed the civil war in the US in 2005. Any of these predictions could be made by anyone. I don't see anything in his writings that would convince me he is a time traveler, and not just some nut. I'd need something a lot more concrete than unfulfilled predictions.

Interesting reading, sort of like 1984, but that's about it until there is some serious proof that stands up.

      More About Time Travel

I'm keeping this lens focused on John Titor and his information only, but the book you see below will provide a broader spectrum of time travel information. I'm planning another lens about time travel but that will involve a lot of research on my part so I don't expect it published right away.

This story is amazing. if i had the chance i would ask him how his time 2000-2008 was different from ours. i mean did the world trade center colapsed in the year 2001 in his time. did someone from the future visit him when he was a kid.

Alex, yes, he was. There is some time distortion between our time line and his which may be why some of his prophecies seem inaccurate, or slightly off. I think the one about a civil war starting in 2005 may account for underground rebellion we may not yet be aware of. After all, in this civilization one can't just get on the Internet and claim to be starting something, as that would be too obvious; the nutcase rebel would be imprisoned and that would be the end of his effectiveness. Any successful rebel would have to be able to keep his intentions private. I think everyone in America now knows a civil war may happen, but 99% of us don't have the foggiest idea where it will start or how.

I never heard of John Titor before reading this lens and i am amazed. There is a story of a lad appearing naked in the middle of nowhere in Germany i think and some people speculated that he may have come from another time. This may have happened and may still be happening, but i must ask the question then; how could someone coming from the future not change events? As a psychic I am aware of the fickle nature of predictions and the changing or skipping of time lines. After all we do have a certain amount of free will and can change any perceived future, food for thought. Love your lenses..

I came a cross JohnTitor web sit in 2006 I thought it was fake i spent all night reading every thing on there like a lot of people then what did i do lol i went to the cern web site i read and read about how they can make protons go almost the speed of light and the resone why i say almost is johntitor said theres a time diff %2.5 if it was the speed of light you would not have the diff in later modles right? I looked up qorks and the top qork, string theory idk i just like the hole idea of black holes i bet it's true that's why the y2k didn't happen and in china 2004 bush wanted to boycott the sports but didn't happen because i think just from john titor saying that about them it didn't happen!

if i said you were going to die on march 12th at 1:23 am UT time 2009 on south st. you would wait intill 1:24 right i just changed the timeline or what every that's were the 2.5 comes in so events probly are going to happen early right?

I think a lot of the things I've read about john titor could very well be true. And if that's the case, where's the rebel army, and where can I sign up, because it's getting difficult to trust the government. How convenient it is that the GOVERNMENT has a STOCKPILE of medicine to combat this new swine flu epidemic. How convenient it is that it's in extreme high demand, all of a sudden, just when the government needs more of our money. I'm not saying they started the virus, but I think they are blowing it way out of proportion. Between the Government and the Media feeding you propaganda, who do you trust? Civil War, here we come!

His stories are pretty much a combination of stories from the Terminator films and from Nostradamus. Like in the Terminator, there was a nuclear war where nuclear bombs destroyed billions of lives and the remaining survivors were left to fight and they sent soldiers back to the past to save the future; which sounds identical to John Titor's world, except he claims it's World War 3, not a war between man & machine. As far as his so called prediction of World War 3, that is based on Nostradamus 100%. Also there are no records of a 11 year old John Titor or Titor family in Florida. Investigators did a people search so it's verified. All of John Titor's claims are based on legendary stories passed on for many years as well as science fiction stories. One man can not prevent a future Cival War or World War so I wouldn't claim he somehow changed history for us.

[in reply to Mad Metal] John Titor told us that the name was a pseudonym... he wouldn't use his parents' name - to protect them. And I don't think his intention was to prevent a war. He seemed to think it was necessary to change our current lifestyle. Whether or not John was a real time traveler - he put forth some worthwhile information such as his disgust with us for eating tainted processed foods from the supermarkets, and he also warned us about Mad Cow Disease in cheese. Now research shows that Mad Cow Disease is more likely in dairy products because the cows are older whereas meat cows are killed while they're still young. I honestly believe that time traveler or no, the John Titor collection of writings is worth reading. And be sure to stock up on bicycle tires while you're at it!

Interesting Stuff...... but the reason why his predictions are a skewed is because he came from an alternate timeline. Maybe that's how history unfolded in his time, but just because he was born in 98 in his time could mean that he was never even born in 98 in our time. I do think he makes some really good explanations for a lot of what he is talking abuot. I just don't see why they wanted that anceint computer so bad. A problem with Unix in 2038, wasn't he from 2036? And didn't he go straght from 2036 to 1975? How does he know about the future problem wth unix? Strange........

For reasons to complicated, I am unable to give my name ... However, I can confirm to you through my own personal first hand involvement with this project that it is for real.

I have chosen this forum to post these comments, because the future has indicated to me that I have already done so. It is this very forum where my comments will be read and republished, getting them to the who needs to see them.

Unfortunately, Lt. Titor was incorrect in some aspects, and worldlines have been altered. Newer technology and development in this project has proved this to us.

Apparently your worldline, this one that you are in right now has been altered previously.

You do not see this because you are living in the now, however we have a way of recording and tracking hisorical events and changes in them.

I will provide you hisorical proof at the end of this message.

Your Presidential order differs from the historical one originally seen in future visit from this worldline.

There were multiple interventions throughout your worldine, later dubbed "The Kennedy Curse" to keep that family out of power. Our hisorical data shows your presidential lineage to have included 2 terms from JFK, 2 terms from Joe Jr, 2 terms from RFK, 2 terms from Ted Kennedy, and finally 2 terms for JFK Jr. That fmaily would have headed this country for 40 years.

There were successful attempts on all of their lives, with exception to Ted, who survived.

This is not a coinsidence or family curse. These were all deliberate.

This is why your officals in your time were unable to explain the JFK execution. The truly never knew what happened.

My proof to you is this ...

The NFL team, NY Giant, in 2009-2010 season, shall remain UNDEFEATED and go on to win the Super Bowl, breaking the long standing record previously held by the Miami team. This will culminate, ironically, in Miami.

time travel is possible. i have thought about jesus being a time traveler because if you read the bible it says about jesus healing people by touching them this could be a device he used. there are some amazing old paintings made near jesuses time and in the back ground you can see a ufo now that could be a time machine from well a head of johns time also in the bible it talks about beams of light and the heavens now heavens means sky and ufos have been said to have beams of light it all makes sense if you read the bible and think of it in this way. it also mentions that jesus died and then he was seen a few days after he could have been healed or something or his future past self had came to time its all very explainable if you was to show a caveman a lighter and show the flame the cave men would think of you as a god of some sort because its never been seenn before or understud. people wat do you think of my theory please comment my email address is hazzac01@hotmail.co.uk if you are reading this in the future please email me hints and tips and info on what's to happen or even come visit me and show me the future.

Also, what type of civil war is this supposed to be?

The people are soposed to be the government so what group of people will be fighting what group of people?

A strange, strange world that humans perceive. Who knows? I'm very aware of the supernatural because I've experienced the bizarre and impossible personally. I'm a devout believer in Jesus Christ based on personal events, but scripture doesn't directly address the possibility of traveling in time, an artifact of human consciousness. Do I believe the story? I'm skeptical. Do I believe traveling in time is possible? Yes, but I see the traveling done at the level of consciousness. Only time will tell (pull intended) if his story is basically true. Granted, it's an interesting story. :)

Ok if john titor was born in 1998 and its 2010...he would be 12 years old...meaning next year in 2011 he would be 13...so the above statement would be true next year (possiblY) Now, since he is living...why can't we find him? I mean does he not say he was born and lives in florida??? I'm just saying..plus am i the only one who has thought about this???

I once saw something very strange that to this day i cannot explain,i was half asleep as i opened my eyes i was startled by a spider hanging right next to my face,as i reached to grab it it suddenly vanished into thin air right before my eyes, that really freaked me out.i used to believe i was like partially still sleeping and witnessed an object from my dream fade out of my vision as my brain switched from dream state to awake,i had experienced such things before but this wasn't anything like the other times, when that stuff happens im always paralysed and everything is distorted the moment i open my eyes, plus it never latsts longer then a few seconds, this spider thing i watched for at least a minute and everything else in my room looked entirely normal, and i had full control of my body.

im still guessing it was probably just another weird sleep-to-reality transitions albeit a particularly unusual one,but what if the spider has through some bizarre luck slipped through time or from a parallel universe?

Titor is a lie because he never realized that if you travel in time, 36 years to the past, but not move your mass you will end in the empty space, this is mainly because the erth, and our galaxy is in constant movement.

Look at the time machine pictures...do you seriously think a box like that that looks like something someone could make up back in 2000 could have been used to travel back in time in 2036? I'm sure if they did invented a time machine in 2036, it would have looked way more technological than that big pile of box....considering how fast technology is advancing at this pace already in 2012. Also, there are too many holes in his stories, for example, he keep on mentioning "worldline," then how exactly does one know which worldline to go back to that has his so called mission to find the IBM 5100 where it actually exist, as there are almost an unimaginable amount of worldline. Also, in his story he states he was a unit in the military and was recruited for the time traveling mission, if he was in the military, wouldn't the government want all of this to be top confidential, why would he then publicize all this on the internet in the past? Surely, they would give him rules of what he can and cannot do before he travels back in time; there are more that I could go on and on about but those are just the some of the main reasons why that John Titor story isn't true, not to mention all of his prophecies to this date hasn't happened yet ( I know people would just use the excuse "because he is stating that from his worldline," but if you read he also did say that our worldline and his worldline are very alike). Lastly, i believe that for human to invent time machine is just too far out of reach for us at the moment as we haven't even dent the surface of what is "time" and how it works yet, and if there really are "worldlines" then that would just be more reason why its unbelievable to have a time machine invented in as little as 30 more years.

If time travel is possible, then John Titor might be a real time traveler.

If John Titor is real, Iâd like to ask him something very important.

They say john titor is just a hoax, why? Maybe because of his predictions that didnât come true.

John Titor's predictions about the mad cow diseases and world war 3 probably affected this world line.

For example, he saw in different world line that there will be a mad cow disease at Australia on 2003 and he said it in this world line on 2001, then the mad cow disease might occur on a different place and different time.(just an example)

time travel is really separating yourself from this dimention and reentering it in another stage of its life.all dimentions are on a loop, they grow and die in the same way.john titor is a foolish criminal for leaking that time travle is real.

weather or not John Titor is a real time traveler is pointless, time travel is basically naturally possible. The faster you travel the slower time goes and it is said that time stops when you reach the speed of light, i believe Einstien said that.. If there was two people born at the same time and one goes to space the one that traveled in space would be younger because he is moving faster than the other person. However i could be wrong it is all speculation. If any of you want to elaborate more or prove me wrong i would be glad to listen to you.

Weather or not John Titor is who he says he is time travel is possible but not as the way we think. It is said when you move faster time slows down allowinh you to live longer, supposedly when you reach the speed of light time stops. (I believe Einstien stated this but im not sure.) So if two people where born at the same exact time and one eventually traveled in space he/she would beger than the other person because they traveled faster than the other person and time "slowed down" for them. Scientists have said that after an astronaut traveles in space and returns to earth he/she is younger because of the speed they were traveling at. However I could and may be wrong so feel free to contact me to prove me wrong or provide me with any details I missed or got wrong. I will gladly listen to you. My email is joeypeakrcik@yahoo.com

Just to keep in mind "John Titor" could be a made up name to hide their real identity. Im not saying that i believe this is true or not but it might be possible to slow down time. it is believed that when you reach the speed of light time stops. so if you travel faster than other obejects time will slow down for you but the object will age normally. I could be wrong im just speculating. So if you want to add more details or proave me wrong iy listen if you contact me.

@anonymous: It might be possible but in a different way. Have you ever heard of the theory that states that when you reach the speed of light time stops. Scientist have also confirmed that the faster you travel the slower time will go. that's why they say astronauts are younger than they should be when that land back on earth.

@Travelsaddle: I have been following the www.JohnTitor.com site for about 7-8 years now. If you read his original posts; you will find that John stated that the civil war would be so suttle; and that most people would not even realize they are in a civil war until 2013 or 2014. Another point of reference is the fact that makes great since. If John would give us too much information, it could have catastrophic effects on our past/present world-lines.Therefore he could not and would not give direct information on anything specific. So in reference to the world series game; did you ever stop to think..... maybe he played a little reverse psychology on us. The fact that he knew what team was going to be playing in any future super bowl game is fascinating in itself. Well, I could go on and on here. I recommend reading the original posts with an open mind. I have a little skepticism in me as well. But for me; there are too many things giving him credibility for me to say he is a hoax. My personal opinion is that John Titor is in fact a time traveler from our future 2036.

None of this makes sense ! If he was born in 1998, that means he's only 14 in 2012! So how could he time travel at a young age with an adult vocabulary! This isn't real so quit wasting our time!

This is a remarkable story and I still haven't found any reason to disbelieve it. He had amazing and accurate insights about our society and this society's future. I suggest you get a bike and extra tires because it is likely we may need them. Preparation is everything!

John Titor claimed a Civil War would break out in the US in 2005. He also claimed that the Olympics wouldn't resume until decades after 2004 games. Neither of these obviously happened. The guy is a fraud in my book.

The funniest part of the whole Titor thing is he said he wouldn't trust anything but his mother's homegrown tomatoes. Ok, have you had tomatoes grown in Florida? BAH HAHAHAhahahahahahahaha! The first thing I do when I leave the state is order something with tomatoes on it because I sure don't eat them here. Nasty. And then, GROWING them? BAH HAHAHAHAHAHHAA! Oh no, not unless you're trying for cherry tomatoes and you're using the strongest chemicals on the planet. Too hot most of the year. Bugs will decimate the fruit. Man, I tried growing them in pots in the screened-in porch and I STILL got worms that ruined them. We can grow citrus. The end. WAAAAAAY south, they can grow some tropicals like anon and sapote but in Central Florida it's too cold. I can't even do lychees although I have a friend with a better micro-climate who has a big tree, I'm so jealous. So growing edibles in Florida? What nonsense. All of our produce is shipped down from other states.

In 2012, there are 7 billion people.

3 billion deaths from the war.

3 billion deaths from natural disasters. Volcanoes, earthquakes, flooding, insect, food, and waterborne illnesses.

If the Arctic ice continues to melt at its 2012 rate, it will completely melt by 2016.

The U.S. will invest in a local and high speed rail system of trains like Japan's.

People will do farm work because they can't get jobs and this is how they will survive.

The Internet not only continues, its even faster and people from the remote corners of the earth have access. We extend it to television and phones.

The post office system is a package and signed documents system. You can still send hand written letters if you want.

People do indeed spend more time outside with neighbors because the Internet is portable. We already see this starting to happen now with tablet devices.

The Civil War 2 in the U.S. is a Socialist war. It was an attempt to break the multinational strangle hold U.S. executives had on the world and on American families. Russia aids the rebellion but not with nuclear weapons.

The European Union and the Euro ends.

Solar power is efficient and so are alternate sources of energy including portable generators (free energy).

Most U.S. towns have the word Fort in front of them. That is because everyone is in the military for life. Every woman, man and child.

Everybody works in a Socialist military workfare-like system.

Life in 2036 is like U.S. Army life is today in 2012.

There is a cure for many cancers and AIDS, the delivery of medicine is not as good as it is today. But more of us in the future know advanced first aid.

The U.S. will flood and it will be politically divided in a tight federation. Each territory will have its own President. The power of each Secretary of State of each of the 5 territories will have greater power than they do today.

          Three historical events.

          1. The election of 2000 in which the Secretary of the State of Florida was the only person allowed to vote. Katherine Harris is one of the greatest villains in U.S. history.

          2. The election of 2004 in which voter fraud played an even greater role in the subversion of democracy and the fraudster who's airplane crashed because he forgot to fill the fuel tank?

          3. U.S. agencies knowingly allowing 911 to happen. From flight training to finish.

If time travelings was made later in the future it Meens that we should be able to receive email from the future, because sending a man I beleave has to be more difficult to send then massages. Another thing is that if we are never able to return to exactly the same galaxie but close to a similar one, than there is no point in time traveling. The only one that will benefit from changing events will be the time traveler. Unless he does return to exactly the same time. Otherwise the time line we live in now will continue with out no change and ones the time traveler travels he will be stuck in a different dimension and won't be able to come back to his original time line. However if we can receive information from the future it won't change their time line but help us advance in ours it won't change ours in no way because we decide how we are going to use that information for good or for bad. • profile image

          anonymous 4 years ago

@anonymous: I believe that using alternate logic John Titor could be telling the truth., The reason I think that is that the very things that appear to discredit him like the American civil war he said would happen in 2005 and the 13 year old children fighting he told with him having enough intelligence to present the pictures of a device no matter how crazy it looked. If he was from our dimension and lying he would have lied about things so improbable to happen in our dimension. However, in his dimension it appears 13 years olds fought as soldiers in 2011 and a US civil war happened in 2005. So the very implausibility of his statements to me lend a reverse type of logical credence. Most hoaxers if ther not retarded will at least lie about things either significantly far enough in the future to still debateor things that are probably likely to happen. Every idiot in the country knows that there is high improbablity of the us having a civil war.

It's interesting that the things that happened on his own worldline are being referred to as prophecies. Time is more circular rather than linear, and we are anchored to an incredibly small portion of one tiny piece of "fabric" in time. This means that no matter what his worldline views are (the way he was raised, the year 2012, global warming, what have you), they will always differ from ours. This is simply because, in theory, if he is from 2036, already we can verify that we are living in a different worldline. These means that the chances that his view of "history" will be a little or a lot different than ours are very high. This means that there is absolutely no way for him to "prophecy" about our future. And even though the trends of the times may be extremely similar, the dates of different world events are more than likely going to be different on each worldline. In other words, I would not rule out the possibility or even probability that "John Titor" could have be a "time traveler". That being said, I would not call him a "fraud" because there was no civil war for us in 2005. I also wish that people would read and comprehend the things he has posted before they quickly slap a "fraud" label on his name. I think that, because we don't yet completely understand how to travel through time, the concept of time travel itself frightens many people and they will look for ways to disparage what was said so as not to accept the claims of time traveling.

I don't think people should spend to much time researching John Titor. The Civil War thing never was. Things said that were going to happen, didn't. Hoax. I wouldn't doubt if he's looking at all these sites that are debating him and laughing himself silly.

John Titor was either a prankster or legitimate. Proving which is the tricky part. Moving through space and time is fact today. Spatial displacement is easy. Temporal displacement occurs but is not yet controllable. The multiverse theory lends legitimacy to John Titor's statements. That which he spoke of may have taken place in a parallel universe unique to his space and time. I think precisely controllable temporal displacement / replacement can not be accomplished without the power of a computer system light years in advance of presently available hardware / software.

I do not believe John Titor was a time traveler at all, but time travel is possible.

John has not really provided any proof at all, it would have been easier to have believed in him if he had named a president in the future.

He also claims a World War which would be started by the Russians and the US retaliating. The next World War will begin with the Koreans.

Time travel is not based on gravity or atoms but is more to do with speed.

How do I know all this?

I thought it was very fascinating when John said that we in the future will not be happy at how we are handling things now. Think about it...if you who are living in the present time went back 50 years and said we would be using cellphones, and have the intenet, and all the technology that we have now...would anyone believe you? Anything is possible...but many are not ready for it.

@anonymous: If he were trying to become famous from this, then why would he just drop off the face of the internet? It seems to me if someone were trying to get famous they would stick around for the "fame" part of it. Is there any way to track him back to his birth origins? Also as some have mentioned, it could be a made up name, so would not be able to track him. In that case, why use a fake name if you are trying to become famous?

It is only a matter of time before it is proven. Proof is everywhere. You just have to know what to look for. But as Robyn P wisely pointed out, "...many are not ready for it." Many of your posts are indicative of such.

Thomass, I suggest you take caution with your accusations and reserve judgement until you are fully aware of the situation.

I think john titor's story is possible but our time line is obviously altered from his time line

@anonymous: That does not prove that he is fake for all we know we could be in an alternate time line then him.

I have to admit I'm a skeptic, but very intrigued at the same time. Imagine a world where this was possible... This was a great read and congrats on your Purple Star.

@Cinnamonbite: This is false. I grew up in Central florida. Avon Park, in fact. We grew tomatoes all the time, and they were big suckers too! I've seen people grow corn in Florida too. It just isn't as common and you have to plant it at the precise area. It also helps to have them in an elevated garden box, not actually IN the ground. They are shipped because they grow more in abundance, but it is possible.

Time travel has always been fascinating to man. we have a need to know what's happening and what is in store for us. Very interesting to read about John Titor.

I've heard of this fella when he was active online the last time, but never checked it out (was busy on my own science fiction!) Still, he had many things to say verified in other sources and sciences, so he probably was exactly who he said he was!

It's not really time travel he's just traveling through dimensions, slight misunderstanding if I was him I'd make the same mistake but he describes fits my theory of dimensions

          (my theory goes like this)

we are all currently in the third dimension but inside that there are dimensional "levels" and in these "levels" are universes that hold smaller dimensions that branch off of the first one started and from those branches they branch out even more each time there is a choice made by any living thing in said dimension but if there was to be an intrusion like John then they would branch off just like any other choice

(also i have never really heard of John Titor before today when I made this theory, heard the name before but paid no attention to it)

Wow love John Titor Story I believe it! I've seen many amazing things in my short life!.......one experience I had when i was in my late twenties....I drove from outside Tennant Creek NT to Brisbane Queensland (google if you don't know), with my cousin in what seemed like 3 or so hours!! We didn't go through any towns whatsoever!! We left our camping spot at around 6ish and drove through some hazy weird landscape then all of a sudden we went through some clouds and to our shock and horror, the Brisbane sign was there!! I tell you we were in shock for days!!! This is not possible in our material world, I thought at the time!!! And no we weren't on drugs or anything like that , it just happened the once and I loved that we experienced that...just glad we didn't end up in some war torn country being shot at lol :) anyhow, I couldn't care less if anyone believes me or not and I DO believe this story! I often wonder if other people have had these experiences and would it not be considered time travel but something else?! Just curious :) Cheers Shell from NT. Australia

What a fun lens! I have to tell you... I was supposed to leave my house 20 minutes ago to meet some friends for cocktails (love me some bourbon), but I had to just make them wait on me; this is a fantastic read! It's an attractive and informative lens, and I had never even heard of John Titor before today. I can't wait to tell my friends tonight. They're going to think I have already gotten into the bourbon tonight! lol (Well, they wouldn't be wrong either). Thanks for the fun, and I look forward to seeing more of your lenses! :-)

@knit1tat2: I tend to believe that he was a real time traveler. Back in 2000 when he was here the unrest in the USA hadn't even manifested... remember, that was back before 9/11 and the Middle East wars. Before people started getting upset about GMO foods. But he knew that our food supply was bad, even then.
