Needing My Faith
Sometimes I feel broken
Sometimes I feel broken and I feel bruised, and that’s when I turn inward. The pain leaks from the cracks in my heart like a melancholy dirge. But I am aware of God’s goodness toward me—His song for me! His wonderful grace, and His mercy—a different sort of song erupts within my soul. I am overcome with a melody of praise!
A Poetic Heart
Poetry spills from the cracks of a broken heart, but flows from one that is loved. By: Christopher Paul Rubero
I rejoice in His Love!
"I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul." Psalm 31:7
The Lord loves it when His children offer a sacrifice of praise. Why shouldn’t we offer Him Praise? His love provokes us to exalt HIM. When we think about it, when we come to fully understand it, how can we do anything but praise?
Give thanks to the Lord!
Don’t you love early mornings? They’re filled with promise. If you are like me that’s when I write the most, new day and a new dawn!
His Word says!
A loving Proclamation
"Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you." Acts 13:38
Through Jesus, God offers forgiveness of sins. Think about that for a minute. He has indebted HIMSELF to humankind through Jesus work on the cross. He paid the debt for our sins! In doing so, God has made a covenant with us:
"Love My Son. Accept His free gift of salvation. In exchange, I will offer you forgiveness of sins and eternal life."
Oh what a gift! What a debt of love He paid!
New chance to experience God’s awesome love, He is pleased when we choose to read His word and to talk to him, when we give thanks early in the day. His enduring Love never sleeps, so it meets us fresh every morning. Praise Him for that unfailing love, even before your eyes are wide open.
I have to say I am so happy the Lord brought me to Hub Pages. This is the happiest I have been in years.
I get to write and have made so many new friends.
God bless you all!
