Choose wisely or pay the price

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:14 King James Bible Now wait a minute you may say, how are we to share to gospel with unbelievers if we are not to associate with them? I do not believe this means we are not to talk with unbelievers.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us, carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to you. 2 Timothy 1:14 new living translation

I believe what this verse means is that we as Christians should not pick non believers as close friends or husbands or wives.

Think about it?

If your prospective mate is a non believer will they not practice things that grieve God? They will have different values than us and a time will come when you must decide who you will follow. What if there are children born in this relationship and your spouse fights you when you want to read the children the Bible or take them to church? Your life will be miserable and probably end in divorce.

What about your friends? What type of behavior do they participate in? Going out and getting drunk and picking up women in a bar? Watching porn’s? Do they swear a lot? Do not be fooled. They WILL pollute you and drive you away from Christ.

So ask and depend upon God for guidance in choosing a spouse and friends. You will be saving yourselves a lot of grief.

Prayer: Jehovah Rohi, God our Sheppard, please guide us to good Christian friends and soul mates. At the same time our beloved, open our hearts to all those who don’t know of the spectacular joy that comes when we are in a harmonious relationship with You. Please guide our actions to gently and respectfully guide them to You and all the incredible love You have to offer the. In the name of the great Sheppard Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day

I would like to live in a town that only had two laws

1 do to others as you want them to do to you

2 Do not do to others as you would noy like them to do to you.

But then it would probably be over run with sadists and masochists ha ha

You maybe need to start your own town. Post a big sign at the entrances stating: Narcissim must be set aside before entering city!

Perhaps that'd help, at least a little. :)

      Hi Femmeflashpoint.

      That is so true.

I always seem to be a magnet for Narcissist.

Then people wonder why I live like a hermit with no friends.

Been there and done that myself.

Caused way more trouble than it was ever worth.
