Prosperity Affirmations

Prosperity Affirmations and the Law of Attraction

The law of attraction says that you attract what you think about. Unfortunately, when things aren't going so well in your life, it's hard to have positive thoughts.

Prosperity affirmations are a great way to change your focus from the negative to the positive.

Saying positive daily affirmations can change your attitude and help you create more of what you want in your life.

This lens is a collection of my favorite affirmations. Feel free to add your favorites in the comment section!

Always say your affirmations in the past tense.

When you state your prosperity affirmations in the past tense, your subconscious hears and feels that they have already happened, and you will be open to attract more of these things to you.

One Of The Many Ways To Develop A Positive Attitude

By Jeri Atleson

One of the most effective ways to develop a positive attitude is through the practice of positive affirmations. What are positive affirmations? Positive affirmations are positive statements that are written in the first person, in the present, and are specific. Positive affirmations are retraining your subconscious mind to look and think positively at something rather than approaching something with a negative attitude. There have been many books written about positive affirmations as well as many audio books and seminars.

There are numerous ways to develop a positive attitude, and positive affirmations are one very effective method. Some experts suggest one of these ways to develop a positive attitude is to start your positive affirmations in front of a mirror. The following rules of thumb are helpful in putting your positive affirmations into use:

Some experts advise writing or typing out their affirmations up to 20 times per day.

A response column next to each affirmation my help get rid of any lingering negative thoughts - for every negative write the opposite in the positive form.

Write in the first person (I will create wealth).

Search out motivational/inspirational material to reaffirm your positive affirmations on a daily basis.

Consider stating your affirmations in front of a mirror or taping them to your mirror.

Vocalizing, actually speaking your affirmations engages more than one sense and makes more of an impact (see and hear them).

Affirmations must make a positive statement (I will create wealth).

Use your own name, as affirmations are more effective when you include your name.

Affirmations be written in the present tense - don't think of what you don't have today, think of yourself as already having these things today. Use words like "now" in your affirmations.

Affirmation need to be specific

Be in the present - don't think of what you don't have today, think of yourself as already having these things. Use words like "now" in your affirmations.

Affirmations are one of the ways to develop a positive attitude. The key is to choose to see things more positively, to engage in behaviors that will help you stay on the positive attitude track, and to believe that you are deserving of good things.

Get Out Of Debt Affirmations

With the rise in credit card debt in America, many people are searching for 'get out of debt' affirmations.

I think it's a bad idea to set "get out of debt" affirmations, because by doing so you will be focusing on the debt instead of creating wealth or attracting prosperity into your life.

So instead of setting get out of debt affirmations, set some wealth and prosperity affirmations like the ones listed earlier on this page.

Remember, affirmations should be positive not negative. So if getting out of debt is one of your goals, focus on how you can attract wealth and money into your life to pay off the debt instead of focusing on the debt itself.

Writing vs. Saying Your Affirmations

I've been saying affirmations for years, but recently a prosperity teacher told me I should be writing my affirmations instead of just saying them out loud.

The process of writing the affirmations down on paper include more of your senses and allow you to feel the affirmation more powerfully.

This prosperity teacher also said it's important to hand write the affirmations instead of typing them on your computer. Again, it's about engaging your senses, and something about actually writing the affirmation by hand is more powerful than typing it into a computer.

Of course, the repetition is helpful as well as stating or writing your affirmations over and over again makes them more powerful.

So I tried writing my affirmations down instead of just saying them out loud, and I can already see a difference. By writing the affirmations down I'm taking more time to really think about the affirmations and let them sink in to my subconscious. I've also seen more gifts and positive things manifest in my life, and at a faster pace.

So, while there's nothing wrong with saying affirmations, if you haven't tried writing them out by hand yet, you should give it a try. You might be really surprised by the results.

My favorite is "I choose to accept that money is flowing into my life." or "I will accept that anything is possible." Thank you for another great lens on self improvement. Five stars and God bless!
