Expressed so well
You do not need to reinvent the wheel. It is quite possible that someone has said something so well you can borrow it to share with others. (Be sure to assign credit to its originator.)
An individual when speaking or writing may say words that embody a feeling or idea that is thought-provoking. What a lucky thing for the rest of us.That does not mean that quotes are all feel good, mushy statements.
Many are not. But they are often profound and said in a way to catch our attention and jiggle around in our heads.
Some of these words serve, I suppose, to help keep my life centered and focused. I have chosen the ones my mind goes back to most often. The ones I share here are only a few among many that have said for me what I was thinking but lacked the skill to express thoughts so precisely.
Quotes make footprints on my heart and on my mind.
Everything is a miracle...
Humbled by the thought of it
When I first read the quote that states we should consider everything a miracle I had to take a bit of time to process it
It did not take too very long to decide---aaaah ---yes---indeed. I personally cannot count how many times miracles have happened and continue to happen in my life and in the lives of my grandchildren and my own daughter. These miraculous events have caused us to believe that unexplained wonders occur every day.
Even some of the doctors who are treating my daughter have told her repeatedly that it is a miraculous event that is keeping her on the planet.
There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. Albert Einstein— Albert Einstein

There is a way that nature speaks, that land speaks. Most of the time, we are simply not patient enough, quiet enough, to pay attention to the story.— Linda Hogan
We need to be still and wait. The wonder of nature will then be revealed to us. The feel of it, the smell of it, the taste of it, the sound of it will linger long after we return to our inside shelter.
Our senses are alive as nature offers us freely her bounty.

Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.— Eleanor Roosevelt
Footprints in your heart
Footprints in my heart...I can feel them. Those friends who without question reassure me that our lives are intertwined. That we can reach out for each other no matter when. Sometimes the reassurance is unspoken and often that is the most powerful kind of gesture.
My life has been so blessed to have friends who are Angels as well lifting my family and me up when we wondered if we would make sense of all that was happening.
My Sister...my best friend....has her Angel wings now
A friend is someone who understands my past, believes in my future, and accepts me just the way I am.— Anonymous
Over the years I have found that those I call 'real, true' friends do not judge or try to change me. They accept me as I am. We are however candid with each other and express our views and offer suggestions to one another when the time arises.
Friendship is a single soul dwelling in two bodies.— Aristotle

Life's opportunities are knocking---seizing the moments and squeezing every bit of living out of them is my challenge.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
And miles to go before I sleep.— Robert Frost
Miles to go
I remember so well learning this poem when I was in high school. And revisiting it again when I was in college. Those who analyzed and dissected the poem did not always agree on what he meant.
It really did not matter to me what others thought was meant by these words. They just remind me to keep on keeping on. There is so much to do and experience and accomplish.
Love Sharing Nature with Heston Wayne
Leo Buscaglia's words are some of the most powerful I have read.
When I was a teacher in Japan on Yokota Air Base, we had a special visitor come to conduct a workshop. It was Leo Buscaglia. He was an amazing speaker who kept us spellbound as shared his thoughts and ideas with us. Here I have share a few of his most spot-on remarks.

Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.— Vivian Greene
Learn to dance in the rain.
Absolutely agree.....learning to dance in the rain, through the storms is life-giving.
My grandson loves stormy weather especially the rain. He has endured so much pain for all of his 24 years. Regardless he has not become a cynic...he is not a bitter old man in a young man's body. It would not be remarkable if he were. His life has been turned upside down and inside out by this illness (and then his Mother was diagnosed with cancer 9 years ago and terminal cancer 4 years ago). Yet he gets up each day and LIVES.
Any day that I feel like whining and complaining, I think of him and his Momma and this quote.
Acres and acres of these beautiful flowers on Payne's Prairie in Florida
Observe how the lilies of the field grow, they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.— Matthew, Chapter 6
Do not worry...
There is great comfort to me in these words. I am reminded that I need not worry or be fearful. Only trust and know that God walks with me each step of every day. He carries me when I am no longer able to walk.
My Little Angel
We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.— Luciano de Crescenzo
Cannot leave out the angels.
If you have read any of my writings, you know Angels hold a pivotal place in my life and the life of my loved ones.
