Updated on April 3, 2016

How To Read Tarot Card

Tarot is commonly use to predict (Divination). Divination is derived from the Latin "Divinare". Thus, the tarot is use as a things to understanding ourselves and to gather information about our future. Tarot gathers insight or clue to guide the requester, about the simple practical questions or more complex problems. Tarot also help to identify any obstacles faced by the requester and to the variety of its resources to solve problems. If the requester choose a card, that will reflect the image of their mind itself, which can be reflected on the readings.

There are some ways to know which tarot card is yours. which is by birth date.

Basic Formula:

You can calculate your Birth Cards by numerology reduction of your birth date in the following way:

MM + DD + 19* + YY.

* For people who was born from January 1, 2000 up to December 31, 2099, te constant will be 20 instead of 19.

For example, let's say that your birthday is May 21, 1947. Try to Add the numbers like this:

then 9 + 2 = 11

11 is Justice, the first Birth Card for this date. 11 reduces to 2 (1+1) is (The High Priestess), which is the second Birth Card.

Three-Digit Sums:

Here is how to handle birth date to add up to three digits. The first two digits from the three are considered as one number, which is added to the third digit. For example July 19, 1971. the formula will be 07 + 19 + 19 + 71 = 116.

Then add

11 + 6 = 17

Key 17 is The Star, the first Birth Card for this date.

then 17 reduces to 8 (1+7) is (Strength) which is the second Birth Card. If the three numbers are 103, for example, then 10 + 3 = 13 (Death) = 4 (Emperor).

Single-Digit Sums:

Usually everyone should have 2 birth cards. One of the cards will have single digit and the other double digit. If your birth date sum reduces to a single digit (e.g. 90 = 9 + 0 = 9) its pair is implied, in this case, 18 (The Moon) = 1 + 8 = 9 (Hermit).

The Exception to the Rule:

The only exception is if your birth date is19. In that case, you will have 3 Birth Cards: The Sun (19), The Wheel of Fortune (10) and The Magician (1).

18 is reduced to 9 (1+8) Moon / Hermit

Tarot Card Reading = Future???

Some people believe that tarot can predict the future. Some people don't.

For me, these kind of things could be true. But i do really believe that we are the one who decide what our future might be. Not the card. But if we can read the tarot, it will be fun. it's unique and interesting to learn.

But actually, if what the tarot says about you is a good things. You can take it as a motivation, you know.? and if the tarot says something bad, then forget about it.

In the end, what you believe is yours to decide

Is it bad to tell your friends dlaties about your tarot card readings? i read somewhere that what they tell you wont necessarily come true after having told someone readings are personal and should be kept to oneself is this true? does this mean by me telling my friends what they told me chances are i might have changed the future around? i know the cards aren't set in stone but im scared i might not get the result im waiting for because i told my friends when they asked.
