David C. Pack Has the Nerve to Use God's Name in Vain!

One day, I stumbled upon a minister while doing an online search regarding the instituting of a one-world government, after a friend on Facebook posted a link about a soon come to New World Order.

I had never heard of this, and being curious, I clicked on my friend’s link. A large can of worms opened up before me! I eventually reached the Ministry of The Restored Church of God after doing an extensive amount of research on this one-world government. I discovered David C. Pack on YouTube with a plethora of videos, articles and audio tapes regarding his false Bible teachings.

David C. Pack attempts to help ignorant people better comprehend the Bible, except, he twists and adds his own definition to the meaning of Jesus' simple teachings. He has created a religious cult and desperately keeps his followers and audience in bondage. Though he tries to make sense at times; he takes many scriptures out of context.

Though there is no reference to a Christmas date of December 25, Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, and he did die for you, because, God loves you tremendously. Nevertheless, nowhere in the Bible does it say to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Moreover, Christ was born during the summer, and not in the winter months. The bible commands God's children to partake of his Holy Supper, on the first day, of the week, every week. This day is Sunday and not Saturday!

This made me realize, how sad it is when vipers of the Bible fool people like David C. Pack because they twist God's word to fit their lifestyle. The Old Testament is only for Bible teaching, and in our day people are now tied to the New Testament. The modern testimony of Christ represents the Novel Covenant of God the Father and Christ with his children.

There are no longer any spiritual days, except, the 1st day of the week, Sunday. We are commanded to partake of the Lord's Supper to remember Jesus' Sacrifice.

It's Useless to Do a Sabbath

“Remembering to keep the Sabbath day holy," in the old covenant was for the Jews admonition living in the B.C. era, and it is absolutely not applicable today! Specifically, you should not waste your time in following a Sabbath rule; it offends God. After Jesus resurrected from the dead, he instituted a New Covenant for God’s children, because now, forgiveness of sins can only come through Christ.

Consequently, someone who doesn't understand the Mosaic Law would erroneously think Saturday is a holy day. However, the New Testament teaches and affirms the old covenant or Old Testament is for our learning.

The Ten Commandments was currently canceled by God; the minute Moses died. Moses was a mediator for his followers! He did not leave a will and testament that you must orchestrate today. Jesus is the person, who left a will and testament that we all must now follow. This is the reason why God's children live under grace today. The day to reverence God is on the Lord's Day, the day he resurrected from the dead, and this day is always Sunday, the first day of the week.

The Meaning of Sunday Keeping

One should spend a day reverencing God on Sunday, and not from Friday, sundown to Saturday, sundown. This is just what I realized when I considered the words of the New Testament with the help of a mentor of the Church of Christ. I will always attend church services on Sunday and pay special homage to God on this day by receiving the Lord's Supper.

The sinister teachings of David C. Pack and ministers like him say this is “Sunday Keeping," a terrible sin, and such congregations do not regularly partake of the Lord's Super, on the first day, of every week either! Therefore, these congregations don't share in remembering the suffering of Christ by breaking bread to eat of His body or drink grape juice on Sunday. They also do not remember the blood Jesus Christ shed for their sin every week.

David C. Pack of the Restored Church of God explains a total falsehood of the Sabbath! He is awfully trying to make people believe every word he utters and has audaciously declared that he is a modern-day apostle of Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15, For such, are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also are transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

There were only twelve apostles living in Christ's time; that's it! There will not be any miraculous signs from this time forward, because Jesus Christ finished everything, when he died and resurrected on the Lord's Day on Sunday. This is the reason why you have the Holy Bible today to learn of Jesus, and to understand what you must do for God to save you.

Take a look for yourself if you dare to listen to error and waste your time with David C. Pack's website. Be diligent. Mr. Pack's explanation of the Sabbath is wrong! Open your eyes! Realize there are a plethora of pastors, ministers, and priests teaching partial Bible truths and false things about God. Many mislead and fool people to believe they're erroneously saved and doing the will of God, when they are, in fact, far from it. They're headed to hell instead for their innocent stupidity of simply adhering to and believing a lie! These deceits prevent them from doing the perfect will of God in their lives! The traditional holiday of Xmas can't be a holy day, since the New Testament has declared there are no more spiritual days. Therefore, no holiday glorifies God. Almighty!

Jesus Was Not Born on Christmas Day

The origin of Christmas happening on December 25th is false and erroneous! Jesus came to the world during the summer months like a person. Realize, he was already here, before time and he's the one who made the world.

In addition, note, the Bible doesn't ever celebrate the 25th of December as a holy day! So, why do so many denominational churches celebrate the coming of Jesus Christ on December 25th? These churches created this date for their own admonition, to weaken Christ, and trick people into thinking Jesus had a beginning! When Jesus was here before anything was ever created. Hopefully, you can understand this lie!

December 25th is merely a day like every other day, except, the special Sunday. There is absolutely nothing holy about Xmas.

Please, Open Your Eyes

As I strive to please God in all, I do, I am not ever going to try to glorify God in any holiday. Holidays have their origins rooted in pagan customs that make God terribly angry. Our God is a jealous God! Pagan symbols with pagan customs infuriate God, especially when his children celebrate those days as a holy day.

Open your eyes! It is important to understand when you're being taught half bible truths and falsehoods. The only way to find the narrow way to God's heart is to study the Bible and find a Church ruled by Christ teaching the true gospel of Christ and receive a proper baptism.

My spiritual eyes opened after study, and when I ultimately found The Church of Christ in my neighborhood. I received a baptism right away because I believed and trust in Jesus Christ. I repented of my sins to start anew! Now, I am sure I'm included in God's plan of salvation, after years of searching for the truth. Realize, what is modern is not true, and what is authentic is not new, in regard to Bible teaching?

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Would You, Come and Receive Jesus Christ in the Church of Christ Today?

God Died for the Ungodly!

The Words of God Are Eloquently Iterated in the Bible for You.

The reason most Christians worship on Sunday is because it is the first day of the week, the day of the resurrection when Mary Magdalene and the others were going to pay homage to Jesus (a form of worship) then in 1 Corinthians 16:2 the Apostle Paul instructs the Corinthians to bring their offerings on the fisrt day of the week implying that was the day the Christian church now worshipped.

We should definitely try to live according to Scripture as much as possible but even at our best we cannot live to the letter of the law. If that were possible there would have been no need for Christ to come, suffer and die for us. The book of Romans is an excellent book to study on this matter. Thanks be to God for his grace that we are not held to the letter of the law or we would all be lost. The law was given to illuminate our weakness not to burden us. Our trust has to be in Him and Him alone.

I voted up even though we disagree. Good Hub.

I discovered this church when Herbert Armstrong was in charge. It has a very rocky history. I do agree with much of it's teachings though. Most pastors teach that Sunday is the Sabbath, but even they know that Caesar changed it from Saturday to Sunday. Then others say it really doesn't matter. If that were true, why is it so prominent in the Bible? The Sabbath is very important, and if we Christians choose to observer it, then we must choose Saturday. Christmas and Easter are pagan days. That should be obvious, but Christian churches still participate. Any wonder that Jesus warned us when he returns that almost all of the world will be deceived by a false Christianity?

    Dear Craan,

I truly understand where you are coming from. I was a member and a fanatic, as taught by WWCG, with Herbert Armstrong for over 27 years. My husband and I raised our five children in the "church" proporting all that you have said above.

It is important to remember Thes 5:21. Prove all things and hold true that which is right.

If you research with an open mind and with the power of the Holy Spirit by your side, you will come to see what God has in mind for you. Let no man dictate to you. Do not take another's word.

Your relationship with God is and should be personal. Between you and Him.

Thank you for such a nice article. Good writing.

    Voted up.

    Thank you for your comments!

Jesus was in the grave for three days and three nights as depicted in the Bible, therefore, he could not have been buried on a Friday (like the Catholics depict) and raised from the dead two-night later.

When Magdalene came to Jesus' grave on Sunday morning, an angel told her Jesus was already raised from the grave that morning. This means Jesus was raised just before the early morning on Sunday. His crucifixion was for three days and three nights Jewish time.

The disciples of Christ paid homage to God on Sunday, the Lord's Day. This is the day they gathered to pray!

If you look closely in the Bible, there is no mention of the word Easter! Jesus rose from the grave on Sunday like the angel said. This is good news!

I urge you to please, look into this topic further to convince yourself of this truth!

Today, God expects his children to pay a special homage to Him on Sunday by partaking of the Lord's supper every first day of the week.

This is why God made a new covenant of forgiveness through Jesus for us! The stone tablets' God originally gave Moses, no longer was, in effect, after Moses died, since no one could keep it perfectly.

How accurate are you that Jesus rose on a Sunday, may I please have a scripture that supports that?. I believe people must provide us with scriptures that support what they believe because David C Pack supports everything he says by scripture. One other thing, Matthew 7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. Instead of wasting one's time on what David C Pack teaches, we should look at the way we live before God coz we are going to be judged for what we do in our bodies.

Hello Anonymous, Here is your answer! I hope this helps!

In John 21:1 the first day of the week "cometh." This is the word erchomai in the Greek which means "to come into being, to begin to be."

This was the day Jesus arose, Peter and John went to the sepulcher, Mary Magdalene saw Jesus in the garden and did not recognize Him, and the day Jesus met His disciples assembled in Galilee where He gave them the Great Commission; Mark 16:16. Which of these do they want to deny? They all happened on the same day, Sunday, "In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week..." Matthew 28:1 This should be hard to miss!.

    Hi Adam,

I am not deceiving anyone! Jesus did away with the Sabbath and created a new covenant with his church, "The Church of Christ." He commands us to receive the Lord's Supper every first day of the week, to remember him on Sundays and to receive a baptism.

The women entered the tomb on Sunday and discovered around 9:00 am that Jesus was risen! He arose earlier that morning! It makes sense that Jesus arose on Sunday morning, because of the new covenant he created with us in The New Testament. Every good thing about Christ always happens on a Sunday, since his death, burial and resurrection. It just makes sense! If you are still not convinced, I urge you to contact the PSL Church of Christ in Fort Pierce, Florida.

I contacted my church and received an additional answer to your pressing question. There are 3 places you know not of which prove Jesus rose on Sunday, John 2:19-21; Mathew 12:41 and Luke 24.

In eastern lands a part stands for the whole day which would also include the night. Jesus was buried before the Sabbath on Friday. It was before the 6:00pm time of the Jewish separation of day and night. It was a "high" Sabbath and Christ had to be in the grave before the "high" Sabbath began. He was resurrected (by His won verbiage on the third day). If He was in the grave one moment of Sunday morning it would still count for the day. Count: Friday Saturday Sunday, The part stands for the whole (Esther 4:10) in eastern cultures. Jesus is God! He therefore cannot lie!

I've never heard of David C Pack, but I guess that is a good thing. I do think there is room in the world for thoughts that are different from mine.
