Jesus died for us so we could make heaven

Salvation through Jesus

I read a hub that someone had posted one time and it was talking about “Will God still love me if I am a sinner” And although some of the things she spoke of regarding Gods love and willingness to forgive spoke true, it was missing One Huge Thing! Jesus!!! Our way to God is through Jesus, and it is the Only way. Yes God says, the wages of sin is death! But through Jesus we can have ever lasting life. (Romans 6:23)

For a long time I did not understand why Jesus had to die though. I mean it just didn't click with me... Mind you I am not that old, Im only 30, but, I didn't get it. God finally showed it to me, or maybe he was showing me the whole time I was just to blinded by other things that I couldn't see the truth.

Back in the Old testament God required a blood sacrifice and people were to offer that for the atonement of their sins. There was a certain way that God wanted this done, and that was how people back then were cleansed from their sins. God later changed that and made our way to him so much easier for US, not for Him. He sacrificed His only begotten Son, Jesus, Jesus took all of the sins that you and I have committed and will commit, and He died for them. He was the “Ultimate Blood Sacrifice” So when we read, “the wages of sin are death” you must know that ~ Jesus died that death for us already, we just have to believe that and accept that, we accept that through faith. Hebrew 11:1 says, that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

How do we do this though? It's a simple task actually. We pray (way of communicating to God) and ask Jesus to come into our hearts, accept that He died on the cross for our sins, that He rose from the dead three days later, and that He is preparing a place for us in heaven, as we speak! Although it does Not stop there, those are the first steps of receiving your salvation (becoming saved) and having a relationship with God and securing an eternal future in heaven through Jesus Christ the Savior.

It hurts my heart because So many people do not see, that without Jesus, we cannot make it to heaven, our sins are not forgiven. Jesus says, “I am the way the truth the light and no one can come to the Father except through Me”(John 14:6) If you believe in God, you must believe in the bible, and if you believe the bible you must believe in Jesus. The bible plainly states who Jesus is, that He is the word in the flesh.(John 1:1-14)

Accept Jesus as your savior, let him give you what God wants you to have so much. Allow Him to show you what you were destined to become and what your will on this earth is. You will find more fulfillment in that then anything else you could ever find in this world. It beats all. It truly does. I pray for everyone that reads this, that the Holy Spirit move on their hearts and make them receptive to receiving Gods love, that God will give them the desire in their hearts to seek out Jesus and receive Him as their Lord and Savior. Amen
