Have you ever wondered how to start approaching spirituality? Through Religion? Through paranormal experiences which sometimes could be uncomfortable? What about scientific evidence?
I chose these books based on the scientific bakckground of the authors or the scientific information they are based on. They will take you in the journey of their discoveries and as you read your believes might be challenged and for sure your mind will be stretched. You will read the scientific explanation for auras, the influence of mantras, documented past lives memories, As a bonus I include a youtube video that will let you listen to the SOUND of an electromagnetic field. You will love the journey of discovery each and everyone of these books will take you through. Ready? Get comfortable. Go!
My absolute No. 1 Infinite Mind by Dr. Valerie Hunt - Science of the Human Vibrations of Consiousness
I recommend this book for the medium to advanced student. If you are new in this field you definitely should buy it too although there may be some terminology you may not be very familiar with. But that will give you more food for research. Here is where the mind begins to stretch.
Dr. Valerie Hunt is a scientist and a physiological researcher of human energy fields. She holds advanced degrees in psychology and physiological science from Columbia University. From the Jacket of her book: "The first to discover and register vibration patterns during pain, disease, illness, and in emotional and spiritual states, Dr. Hunt has found scientific evidence of individualized field signatures and subtle energetic happenings between people and within groups."
No. 2 The Field by Lynne McTaggart - The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe
Lynne McTaggart is an investigative journalist and this book is based on all the interviews she conducted to several top scientists. The first couple of chapters went a little slow for me but afterwards it had my full attention.
Lynne McTaggart's The Field is a preview of third millenium science and how it will touch the lives of every person on Earth. This book liberates consciouness and restores it to its majestic and rightful position as a causal power in the universe. McTaggart's book should come with a warning: May forever change your world view. - Larry Dossey, MD
No. 3 Taking the Quantum Leap by Fred Alan Wolf - The New Physics for Nonscientists
How I learn from Dr. Wolf! I love his down to earth approach when speaking of scientific matters. His sense of humor and knowledge are a great combination. I do not particular enjoy all his work but this book captivated my attention. I read it when I first was understanding about Quantum stuff. Here he gives an amazing explanation of Quantum in general.
No. 4 Dancing Wu Li Masters by Gary Zukav - An Overview of the New Physics
This book has been around for a while already so some information is outdated. I read it about 10 years ago. Gary Zukav (author of The Seat of the Soul) made an extraordinary job in this book in explaining physics, applied to mystic topics, for the average person. Like me
One either loves or hates this book. He is not a physicist so when you read it you feel you are actually hearing him talk. If you are a physicist chances are you are not going to like it. However, if you like to read all you can about scientific validation of mystic stuff chances are you will enjoy this book. Beware! It is a very thick book.
No. 5 The Body Electric by R. Becker and G. Selden - Electromagnetism and the Foundation of Life
Dr. Becker explains the results of biology experiments (beware, you will read about experiments mostly on frogs and humans) that made him a pioneer in energy medicine. He includes comments about the important role of energy fields for healing. He talks about meridiand and regenerating tissues. I'm sure you will find this book interesting. This, too, is a thick book of 347 pages before getting to the Index.
The most powerful video demonstrating some of the effects of Meditation - A Chi Master
A brief pause in my list. Less than 10 mins long. This Chi Master claims that meditation gave him the amazing skills you will witness here. Like starting a fire or stopping bullets with his hands.
The whole world will look different after you watch this video.
What did you think about the Qigong Master Chi Energy video? - True of False
In my opinion the video is an awesome proof of what we, humans, can achieve. We can see this Qigong teacher with powers like those of Superman! Although I do not have any of his powers I have my own extra sensory skills. So now it's your turn! Let us know what you think!

No 6 Many Lives Many Masters by Brian Weiss
Have gifted my mom and dad with this book for them to better understand past lives from the pencil of a Dr. himself. A very well documented case. This book has become a classic on Past Lives, reincarnation and the Masters in between lives. It is beautiful. I highly recommend it.
No. 7 The Joy Formula for Health & Beauty by Diane H. Jacobson - The Power of Positive Emotions for a Lifetime of Vibrant Health and Radiant Beauty
Another refreshingly scientific book that verifies that beauty does come from inside! Literally. So our mood, our thoughts will leave their mark on our face. I forgot to include this book in my Nose Plastic Surgery lense!
No.8 Blissful Brain by Shanida Nataraja - Neuroscince and Proof of the Power of Meditation
This may be the only book needed to understand what physiologically happens in the brains of the meditators. Studies and proof -and explanation- of the effects of meditation on our daily lives. In case you need to convince a nut hard to crack.
No.9 The Conscious Universe by Dean Radin - The Scientific Truth of Psychic Phenomena
Another oldie with tons and tons of information, charts... and pages. At some points you may feel that the author was writing mostly for scientists, but you should keep on reading you will get a hang of his style. Interesting way to explain psychic phenomenae.
No. 10 The Hidden Messages of Water and The Song of the Spine
These two books share this spot because both their authors are not necessarily considered "scientists".
Although many claim that Masaru Emoto (The Hidden Messages of Water) is not really a doctor in that he did not obtain his degree from a conventional University I decided to include this book here because of the big impact that, reading Emoto's proposals, will produce in the minds of those who read it. It shows, with photographs the effects of thougts on water.
June Leslie Wieder (The Song of the Spine) is a chiropractor with her own very unique discoveries that she shares with us in her book. It may just remind you of mantras...
I am positive you will love both these little gems.
None of the authors I mention on this list has been 100% accepted by their fellow scientists. There is always someone challenging their proposals, just as other great scientists of the past had. I am no scientist my self so take this list as coming from someone very interested in learning new things and searching for evidence that will allow me to better understand the world I perceive with my more than five senses.
May the vastness of the creation become available and known to us all.
