We Attract Our Own Troubles

Updated on July 26, 2011

We meet troubles on a regular basis, don’t we? Of course we do. All of us. Our troubles are all uninvited, or that’s how we like to think it is. Wouldn’t our lives become so much more better and convenient if we knew why exactly our lives have become so troublesome and frustrating before we keep asking ourselves, “Why the hell does it keep happening to me?”

What if one day we do realize that we attract our own problems? We obviously aren’t aware of it. It’s all happening somewhere there in the subconscious- unknowingly and unintentionally.

Let’s just take a look at how this trouble structure works and how we can get rid of it..

Every Thought In Your Mind Is An Energy which travels in the universe faster than the speed of the words you speak. The moment you say “I wish….” you immediately set the whole universe into motion so as to fulfill your desire. The realization of your desires is only a matter of how much conviction you put into it.

You do not realize but the universe is all there with open arms to grant you whatever you wish for. The
Problem begins when the thoughts are more negative than positive. Whatever energy you give to the      universe, it will give that back to you. Your boss is domineering- negative thought. Your friend is selfish- negative thought. I am a loser- way too negative.

So when all of these negative thoughts travel in the universe, imagine how much contamination takes place.
What you get in return is troubles generating out of your thought process.

The Law Of Attraction :  A 35 year old executive in a pharmaceutical company was thoroughly bored of his job. His boredom led him to pay lesser attention to his work, cursing his boss, disharmony with his colleagues, even taking days off from work unnecessarily. He even started to look for another job secretly.

The consequence? He was fired from his job for inefficiency. Predictable enough, his words were, “Why the hell did it happen to me?”. The reply of the universe, “Aren’t you happy? This is what you asked for.”

Technically, the man was incessantly sending negative thoughts to the universe pertaining to his job. The universe gives you what you attract. Only if he could have enjoyed and respected his job he would have progressed and prospered.

Fear Attracts Like Energy : The more fear you have of something the more likely it is to manifest in your reality. When you have a fear of something, you tend to think of it much much more than you would if you did not have that fear. While every thought has its landmark in the universe, your fear places the negative thoughts on an even higher stand making it your reality.

Fear only makes situations worse. You lose your energy and your appetite and also your mind. Don’t have fear, have faith.

Jumble A Little The Words You Speak : The words you utter along with your thoughts is energy, pure energy. This energy is constantly traveling in the universe, being assessed and calculated. If you keep saying, “oh I’m so poor, I’m so poor” , that’s what the universe will hear and will eventually give you more poverty. Keep saying, “I’m unhealthy” and you keep getting bad health. Say “I’m an idiot” and you eventually become one.

Only if you just changed the way you use your words, most of your troubles would come to an end.
Say “I’ll be alright soon” , “I would like more money” , “I’m smart enough for you”. Make sure you just don’t say it for the heck of it but actually mean it. Have conviction in every word you say.

What You Want For Yourself, Give To Others : Might be a tough thing to do but amazingly gratifying. Ever heard your grandparents tell you ‘do good to others and good will happen to you?’ Yes? Ever took it seriously? Never mind…

This is the Law of the universe, whatever you give to others unconditionally and with all your heart, you get it back, and that too multifold. Give love get love. Give hate get hate. Give pain and suffering get pain and suffering.

When you help someone unreservedly, the universe watches it and when you are in need yourself the universe and the Mother Nature herself will come for your rescue.

If you want your troubles ended, do not give troubles to others. What others do to you, it is their life their karmas. You do not have any control over that neither on their consequences. You do not have control over what choices others make or want to make. What you have control over is your own deeds and the consequences the deeds will lead to.

Never forget that what you condemn will one day condemn you. Remember how you would make fun of the Math’s teacher in school and would get the lowest grades for it compared to the subjects taught by teachers you really liked?

Don’t complain of how people betray you, do not love and respect you. Just sit back and ask yourself compassionately if you ever betrayed anyone, or didn’t express your love to someone or showed disrespect. Question yourself. Access yourself. Talk to yourself and you will surely find out why troubles knock at your door.

Exactly, the one who give you pain is a sinner and when you allow that pain to happen to you, you too are a sinner.

      Thank you.

      So True, Devika!

Reminds me about one of my favorite quotes by Gandhiji "No body can hurt you without your permission".

This is right on Devika. I am a true believer that you attract your own destiny. Actually, some things had happened recently to me and afterwards I just sat down and declared positive things. The next day almost everything I declared came to fruition. Maybe I should use this to win the lottery, LOL.
