The New Testament Authors

Updated on September 28, 2014

The first Bible

Following the establishment of the Roman Catholic Church by the Roman Emperor Constantine the next puzzle was to find out who wrote the New Testament and when it first saw the light of day? To do that required access to secret documents hidden in Vatican archives and only the Spirit could help me to find my way to them. The task ahead was not going to be easy but the Spirit was in control, not me.

A book came unexpectedly into my hands by one Fray Jose de Siguenza who, commissioned by Phillip II of Spain, gained access to those records of which he freely wrote. His work, the Life of St. Jerome, the great doctor of the church is full of surprises and he questions the validity of some of his findings. The work was translated by Montiero in 1907 and published in London.

He confirmed that the Old Testament had been around in the form of the Septuagint which was translated into Greek and adopted by the Orthodox Church as its own. He notes that Jerome was appointed by the Bishop of Rome, Damasus, and the Emperor to establish the recently established Catholic Church in Asia, Africa and Europe for which he was virtually given a free hand. He noted that he altered and added parts to the Septuagint before he attaching it to the New Testament and publishing the complete work as the Vulgate, the first bible.

While the claims made here tend to fly in the face of conventional religious beliefs, especially those related to Christianity, they are strongly supported by evidence from archaeology, public records, diaries, letters, and scholarly works by those who, like myself, are skeptical of the religion that so strongly favors overpopulation, lack of family planning and birth control, and which claims that it also speaks for God. Its threats of eternal punishment in hell is against the welfare of all people. With memory of reincarnation it is necessary to bring these things to the surface to be aired for the public good. A bibliography appears at the end of the lens.

Jesus Christ was Modelled on Chrishna

After the Council of Nicaea

The delegates to the Council of Nicaea returned to their homes under orders to practice the new religion and to force it on people in their regions. The only real change was that now the cross was cemented as an instrument of worship and that they should now declare that the so-called Son of God had really come to earth. What no one knew was how, when, where or by whom this had happened. There was no order to practice and no code to go by. This meant that each and every one of them continued in their old ways to worship as before, that is as sun worshipers of Islam.

Most of these men were illiterate, many had been recruited by Constantine from prisons with promises of freedom if they served the church. Others were sourced from salt mines where they were enslaved. Still others comprised those tortured and maimed before succumbing to the new religion. They were now called Christians, but what did that mean?

The term had been around for centuries as Plato had used it some 500 years beforehand. It obviously related to Chrishna (Krishna), the third person of the Vedic Trinity. Greek Philosophers took frequent trips to India to study this religion and the Trinity God. Pythagoras spent years roaming the East and had certainly come into contact with the teachings of that religion. Some, like Cesaro, after whom Plato modeled himself, had huge followings and crowds listened when these learned men spoke. By preaching their revelations many audience worshiped Krishna as the Son of God.

"Boudha and Chrishna were, however, only renewed incarnations of the same Being; the solar power, or a principle aspect of the sun, Boudha is the name of the sun in Taurus, the bull; and Chrishna is the same solar power when the sun receded into Aries, the Lamb", cited Britten 1879:58. Christ was called the 'Lamb of God' obviously and was modeled on Krishna.

From the same source "the mother of Boudha was Maia, a name also assigned to the Greek Mercury . . . the followers of Boudha claim for him no earthy father, but an immaculate conception, through a royal mother and a ray of heavenly light." Maia is the same as Ma-r-i, the Mother god of the Amorites who was taken to Rome by the Amors. Ma-r-i translates as 'Mother's powerful eye' while 'Ma-i-a' is Mothers eye of power". There is no letter [y] in Italian or Latin and Mari is the same as the English version Mary.

"In Assyria, Phonecia, and . . . Arabia . . .Boudha, as the bul, was corrupted to Bel, Belus, Baal,Bael Peor, . . . the Good God, the Lord of Heaven, and the Enlightened one." (Britten) We also learn from her that Gregorius, in his Tibetium Alpebetum, describes and illustrates the Hindoo God, Indra, the sun, nailed to a cross with five wounds (1879:65). The British Museum holds images of Wittoba, another Indian god, also nailed to a cross with five wounds. This was found at Elephantina some 2500 years ago. It is credited to a find by Mr Higgins and "in several of the icons to Wittoba, there are marks of holes in both feet, the hands . . . on one side is the mark of a foot and a little lower a round hole. To his collar or shirt hangs an emblem of a heart, such as . . . on the romish pictures of Christ." (1879:66)

Reports of Chrishna's birth claim he was born from the left intercostal rib of a virgin, of the royal line of Devaci (note how close this is to David, the line from which Christ was supposedly born). The tyrant Cansa was in pursuit of him and supposedly slew all infants under the age of 2. Chrishna, however, was secretly taken to Egypt and hidden in Mathura by a herdsman called Ananda. During his boyhood he slew the terrible serpent Caliyaga, plus other serpents and monsters. Among his miracles he raised the dead and descended into the lowest regions for that purpose. He washed the feet of the Bramins whom he favored (1879:73)

Mrs Child reported one such account in the following manner. ". . . the boy who is destined to destroy you has been born." Cansa then gave order to cull all male children in the kingdom. This is depicted in the cave temple at Elephantina by a figure wielding a sword surrounded by dead infants. (1897:74)

The term "Christian" is akin to "Chrishna" and the story relating to Christ is obviously copied from that for him in the Indian tradition, with slight changes for historical purposes.

The Islamic Sun-God was Resurrected after Death on the Cross

But the Spirit of God Cannot be Killed

The fact that 'Sons of God were designed on the sun producing an image through light that transcended into a man is obviously taken on the way the celestial sphere operates in nature. In the Northern Hemisphere the sun disappears during winter, or at least appears to when the rain and cold, fog and snow make seeing it difficult. It was worse in colder times, say a few thousand years ago. We know that the planet has been slowly warming over the last 50 or so years and it is probably hard for some to appreciate a winter when the sun could be missing for days.

But in the northern regions of Europe it still completely disappears for three months or more. This is where most of the myths about the sun being gypped arose. The stories then traveled to the East and into Britain and Europe via the Vikings and through word of mouth. My linguistics research showed Viking names for cities and places in Assyria, Persia and Egypt. As 'I-gypt' means 'eye gypt' (Egypt) it may have been the goal of these nomads to discover the land where the sun went in the wintertime. Thus explaining their perpetual wanderings.

Thousands of years ago was a time of great hardship for life and humans in particular were so overawed by the celestial God. It was the source of the only power they knew. It gave life, food, and warmth and its appearance was celebrated in dawn festivities, many of which have continued in one form or another until today.

'Her' disappearance, therefore, was a major event. It had to be explained and there are many stories that arose from it, One is that she journeyed to the underground by passing through seven veils. These 'doors' are a form of the seven lights in the rainbow or when light disperses through glass. When she arrived in the nether world she was captured and imprisoned by her evil sister who was extremely jealous of her beauty. As the Mother God she also had many names, of which Ishtar (eye star) was one.

Bailey (1912:205) posits that Cinderella is based on this mythology. "The seven veils through which Cinderella’s three streamlets penetrate may be compared with the seven gates of the underworld through which Ishtar passed, and the seven planetary spheres through which Sophia, the Virgin of light arose. . . . and the seven spirits which stand before the Throne of God".

Journeying through the underground she eventually found her way out of the prison by passing again through seven veils until she remerged and climbed back into the sky amidst the splendour of a great sunrise. Here seven lights restored she could now give life and warmth once more. But it seems that the Vikings put another spin on the tale. They carried their mythology to the European communities where the sun was worshiped as much as in the Nordic countries. 'Nord' equates with 'nort' from which we derived 'north' and nought'. 'No-r-t' by my research means 'No powerful cross'. When there is no sun there is no cross on the horizon.

But the Nordic countries have enormous high peaks, which probably accounts for why they were inhabited in the first place. As the sun passes a peak the seven colours are formed in circles and the cross is the main feature in the centre. This magic symbol is still used by many religions, such as the Buddhists, to bring their god into view. In countries where the peaks are high, the mountains misty and when the ice forms this image is prominent just about everywhere you look. Such a place is Tibet, the home of the Buddhist religion and the Delhi Llama.

The crucified sun found next door in Nepal and India relates to the 'son' of the sun being sacrificed so that he can mate with the Sun and become the father of all life. 'Sun' and 'son' have the same entomology. They mean 'living circle of victory'. Bailey notes that The Assyrian sun god was called 'Sin' which equates with the English 'sun' and the Dutch 'zon'. 'Sin'' is the term adopted by the Catholic Church to condemn people who worshipped other gods, such as the sun. It has grown to mean a lot more since.

It was a mixture of these religions which pervaded the Roman Empire and caused the furious reaction of the Caesars against them. They saw themselves as the only authority and any so called god took away their power.

There is no doubt that massive reaction against objects of worship was engaged in by these rulers who tried to stamp out Christianity, which emanated from Krishna and the Sun god.. They reacted by erecting statues of themselves and constructing temples to the Egyptian goddess Isis, another version of the Mother god. They then declared themselves to be her sons on earth.

By declaring that the 'Son of the sun' had come to earth in the form of Krishna, or anyone else, their own status as Sons of the Sun, essential for maintaining their power, was in jeopardy. This threatened the Empire itself. Every Caesar described himself as Son of Apollo and they worshiped no one but themselves. That's what brought about the persecution and death of so many so-called Christians. Death in any form was practiced but death by fire or crucifixion, which caused the longest and greatest amount of suffering, was preferred as a deterrent to others.

Some 4000 years ago, the infant Chrishna was conveyed to Mathura by his mother and father to avoid the wrath of a cruel tyrant king . . . he wrought many miracles, caused a spring of water to flow forth in the arid desert." (Britten 1874:77) She notes that 2000 years later the New Testament claimed the infant Jesus is brought to the same spot for the same reason".

The Birthday of Christ

How many share it?

"The twenty fifth day of the twelfth month in the year was the birthday of Zas, the Saviour sun of ancient China, and it was the birthday of the Egyptian gods Osiris and Horus, of the Greek Dionysus, of the Hindu Vishnu, and of the Syrian Tammuz." Bailey 1912 vol 2 :147. 'Tammuz' reversed is 'Summit', a term for the peak on which the sun's image appears. This image appears when the sun traverses the sky behind any major obstacle and the pyramids are renowned for this sight. Ancient Ziggurats also had a circle on a pole through which the sun image could form. The image was the 'holes-eye' from whence came the term 'holy'.

Passing infants through a holed stone was practiced in Europe until a couple of centuries ago as a symbol of baptism and passing through the hole would supposedly bring healing. It was called the 'SAX' for 'Light's powerful cross" and is the origin of 'sack' for a container or the removal of someone. He who passed through the sack was removed for all time as he was the new savior now supposedly reigning in heaven. He also shed his skin as the flesh was peeled off and eaten in a communion for the masses making him red all over. "sax'is akin to 'sac and 'sac-red 'is the origin of 'sacred'.

Crimson is the color of blood and crimson is the color worn by the Catholic Church and its off shoots for that reason,

"Those who are reared in crimson, embrace dunghills."

'Ma-r-x' is the origin of 'March' and it means 'mother's powerful cross'. It was seen at Equinox in March, thus the name of the month. It also caused people to come in their droves as in a 'march', "Ma-x-i' or 'mother's cross eye' is in 'maxi' for the biggest, grandest, best, and 'maxi-mum' is the most you can have of something. These terms point to the power of the sun.

'O-m' is 'circle of the mother' and is in 'omni' meaning 'all things' and is in 'omnipotent' omniscient', 'd-om-e', 'd-om-estic', 'h-om-e' and 'h-om-ily' to name but a few of the derivatives. Mother god was everywhere, in all languages and cultures, and no one was going to do away with her in the Roman Empire or anywhere else. She had to stay and the religion of Constantine was built around her, Instead of Mother god Mari or Mary she was delegated to the role of Mother of God, which is a trick. For God to have a mother she had to come first.

'O-s' is 'circle of light' and is in 'Oslo', the Capital city of Norway. The Egyptian city of Heliopolis was originally 'On' meaning sun. 'S-on', therefore, means 'light of the sun', the term used to describe male heirs. "The emperors of Peru were titled Children of the sun" (Bailey 1912:149)

Having traced the origin of language and religion to a single point in time it was not difficult to read place names and identify their entomology or to interpret the symbolism in ancient sites. The key to the past led me to understand more than has ever been even guessed at in terms of the rituals and behaviour that led to the progress of humanity and the formation of dogma that became Christianity.

Christ was supposedly born on 25th December which is the birthday of the sun in all religious cultures. It was celebrated with fires, burning of logs, and the putting to death of the old god-man before the new one arrived.

Early Christianity - The differences in churches

Even when organized into one body under Constantine in the 4th CAD the religious bodies were still massively divided.

The Septuagint

A New English Translation of the Septuagint
A New English Translation of the Septuagint

When one researches for truth then all documents have to be examined and comparisons made. Many feel the Septuagint was studied by Jerome, who altered parts of it according to his diary. The original may have been lost as the church covered up its deceit. Here is one version of it in English but the original was done in Aramaic and then Greek. it was the Greek version that Jerome used.

He noted that the pivotal point of all theological faiths is the worship of an incarnate God who is born of a virgin mother by a divine father. (Britten 1887:103-104)

The Spirit sent me into deep territory to unearth the facts from books where authors knew more than we do today because the influence of Western religions have seen many old manuscripts cast aside for those of people who were reared in religion and have written from their own bias. In teaching me the modern works were often overlooked in favour of those from even centuries ago because they were more honest in their accounts and more direct in their claims.

It happened that on at least one occasion a book fell off the shelf directly in front of me about a couple of meters away with no one else around. It happened when the Spirit asked me to search for the origin of the cross. On the floor it lay open at a page which has several drawings of crosses displayed. When I picked it up it was by an archaeologist who had unearthed the ancient city of Catal Huyuk in Anatolia. The crosses were found inscribed inside a cave to the south and near another ancient city. They both date to around 6000 to 8000 years ago.

Inside the chapels in Catal Huyuk were altars built of bull heads and on the ground were human skulls indicating that human sacrifice had taken place here. On the walls were images of headless humans dancing while vulture like birds hovered around them. On reading the signs and symbols it was clear that the birds represented a means of passage to heaven. The headless dancers were repeated in iconography uncovered in the Mayan world where kings are depicted cutting off their own heads.

The headless chook runs around in a dance and its possible that this is the same with the decapitated humans. It would indicate that the spirit has life after death and that the dance was part of the spirit world. This is confirmed in many cultures where the Shaman goes into a trance and dances in an abnormal manner. His movements, while in this state, are interpreted by elders who predict the future or what needs to be done to cure someone or something else along these lines.

To induce the trance the men will imbibe themselves with drugs which have taken various names related to the gods they represent. Mari-Anna, for instance, is in Marijuana. Alcohol is called 'spirits' because it induces a changed state that can also lead to trance or loss of power over the body. It is now used in churches as part of the communion service when people expect they are taking in the spirit of their God.

My research established that Stonehenge was used for the crucifixion of God-men. This was part of my thesis, Death and Resurrection that was marked by professors from Cambridge and the University of Dublin. Both compare it to a Ph.D. and remarked that "this is frightening stuff but you cannot ignore the evidence."

The Fledging Religion of Constantine

Nothing but a Creed to sustain it.

The Men Constantine called to the Council of Nicaea, where he established his religion as the Roman Catholic Church, were from the same backgrounds as just described. They all believed in a crucified saviour and in the Trinity, only with a difference. The old Trinity comprised Mother god (sun), her son and the light (spirit). Now there was to a Father god to replace the Mother god. This set up a great deal of confusion.

In typical Caesar fashion the new Church had a creed, presented by Eusebius, Constantine's bishop at court. The emperor had altered the day of rest to Sunday, the feast day of the Dies Solis, or Sun god. On this day the soldiers were paraded and assembled to say this creed:

We acknowledge thee the only God. We own thee as our king and implore thy succor. By thy favor have we gotten victory, through thee are we mightier than our enemies. We render thanks for thy past benefits and trust thee for future blessings. Together we pray thee and beseech thee, long to preserve us safe and triumphant, our Emperor, Constantine and his pious sons. Huttman 1914

By having the troops recite this creed it reinforced in them their duty to the king and their place as his servants. A creed for the new religion would do likewise. If people were made to recite it on Sundays they would be committed to its contents and would acknowledge that the religion is true and the God they now served is powerful enough to save them and give them victory over their enemies.

It was a dangerous move on the part of Constantine because now they would see a different God to himself. Could he survive the transition? He was shrewd and all-knowing and he had his cohorts and spies and no one wanted to cross him at any time. They had seen what happened to people like Arias who dared defy his movement. So the Creed was produced.

The Creed:

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of all things both visible and invisible, and in one Lord Jesus Christ, the word of God, God of God, Lord of Lords, Life of Life, the only begotten son, the first born of every creature, begotten of the father before all worlds, by whom also all things were made. Who for our salvation was made flesh and lived amongst men and suffered, and rose again the 3rd day, and ascended to the father and shall come again in glory to judge the quick and the dead. And we believe in the Holy Ghost. Believing each of them to be and to have existed, the father only the father, and the Son only the Son, and the Holy Ghost only the Holy Ghost.

As also our Lord sending forth his own disciples to preach said go and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the father, and the son and the holy ghost. Concerning which things we affirm that this is so, and that we so think and that it has long been held and we remain steadfast to death for the faith, anathematizing every godless heresy. That we have thought these things from our heart and soul, from the time that we have known ourselves, and that we not think and say this in truth. We testify in the name of Almighty God and of our Lord Jesus Christ being all to prove even by demonstration; and to persuade us that in past times also then we believed and preached. (Stanley 1864:281-9)

This is the only record of the original creed that was to be found in my search. It was later altered and shortened to the Apostle's Creed which is still recited in churches on Sunday.

Considering that at least two thirds of the congregation were illiterate, including Constantine himself, it is doubtful if too many of the delegates returned to their homes with a copy of this document.

Stanley noted also that the establishment of the creed caused the most controversy, but others claimed it was debate over the Trinity. Many questioned how the father, son and Holy Ghost could be three and yet one. It is unlikely that this happened as all were familiar with the sun being all three personas so why would they question it. I think Stanley is right as the Creed proved the major sticking point as no one had ever believed in its testimony before this time.

Why do People Believe the Ridiculous? - There is no evidence for anything they are saying.

Theology is something that people study to become an authority within their belief systems. But, the problem is, they are clones of the clones and they are doing the work of Constantine. Listen to the following debate and see if this is not true. What do you believe now?

Is the Catholic Church a Fake?

Was it borne of Constantine's desire to control the masses?

So Who Wrote the New Testament?

Was it a misguided collection of stories that could not be dismissed?

The Book of Matthew repeats the story of Krishna almost exactly.

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, 2:16

But there are other inconsistencies in this story that need examination. Here Jesus is born in a house and immediately afterwards is fleeing into Egypt (2:11-14). There is no mention of the overcrowding or even of the taxes or census that is later deemed to be the reason they came to Bethlehem. In Paragraph 23 they return to Israel and live in Nazareth so that Jesus is called the Nazarene. As with Krishna he was 12 years old. His first miracle was to change water to wine whereas with Krishna it was to make water to flow in the desert.

A recent television documentary sought proof of the act by Herod against the babies and there is none. If it took place it would have been the central point of his reign. The fact is that it is absent from the records and that possibly means that it never occurred. The author of Matthew obviously did not care about facts because he was writing for illiterate people who would probably never search to authenticate the stories he told.

Everything the king did is recorded in his historical documents and at the time this was supposedly taking place Herod was ill in another part of the country. The only act of slaughter he was responsible for was the execution of several men who were deemed to be traitors. Overall he appears to have been rather kind and considerate doing much for the general population and was anything but the monster he is portrayed as here.

Mark does not mention a birth and nor does John but Luke goes to the extreme. Here we hear for the first time about being taxed and going from Nazareth to Bethlehem. That at a time when the birth of a baby was imminent. Any woman who has given birth will tell you that travel at this time is extremely difficult. Every jolt is a nightmare. If she rode on a donkey, as is often portrayed, over hills and dale to travel the distance the baby would more than likely have been born along the way. But men don't know that and it is obvious this story was written by a man. Also if this was to be the so-called Son of God inside her why didn't God make it easier for them?

But no! On arrival in Bethlehem the place was overcrowded and they were accommodated in the stable. There Jesus is born and laid in a manger. How romantic! Then we are told that shepherds were watching their flock at night. This would have been impossible at that time as in winter the hills are covered in snow, which would have been a lot deeper and colder than today. The sheep are in fields in the valleys and no shepherds venture forth at that time. Anyone who has visited here at this time would know this.

The visitation by the angel and the praising by the host of heaven was pure fiction designed to reinforce that this child is the Son of God. There were no gifts from wise men or other visitors recorded here. Unlike in Matthew there is no threat from Herod and the baby is taken openly to the temple at 8 days of age to be circumcised. He is then reared in Nazareth.

In John Jesus Christ is called the 'Light', in the same way that Krishna was the Light.

That was the true Light, that lighteth every man that cometh into the world

He was in the world, and the world knew him not.

He came unto his own and his own received him not.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in his name: (19-12)

In this story Jesus Christ is the logos - the Word of God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt amongst us (1-14)

The Sharifi, a Bedouin nomadic tribe, claimed that they had written this story and that Christians stole their John the Baptist. They had among their rituals baptism by complete immersion in water which no other group had. They did this whenever they came into a situation of uncleanliness. So whether it was baptism or purification of the body is a point to be decided.

There is a lot more to say about the differences between these four testimonials and this will be done in another lens.

The first four books of the New Testament are inconsistent with each other and with historical facts. This lead to the conclusion that they were written much later than the supposed date of the birth of Christ and that John was the earliest document and it was stolen from the Sharifi, as they claimed. This may be born out by some remnants that appear to align with it and are part of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

By Jerome's Hand

The first bible

Early in his assignment Jerome set up church policies and festivals. Implementing a calendar for services, uniformity of worship based on the Imperial Roman Church, and festivities borrowed from the Imperial Roman Religion, it included Lent and Easter

He incorporated the vestments and dress of the church from the same source. They retain symbols as a witness to their origin. The robes worn by the priests and pope alike bear a huge sun star on the back. The mass and other adherents to Roman worship incorporate confession and forgiveness of sins. The latter was practiced around the Mediterranean wherever the Amors settled.

Fray Jose notes that Jerome 'edited" the Old Testament and that Greek and Latin historians, including Titus, Livy, Tacitus, Justinian and others, verified his power to do so. He then adorned and embellished his theology with both Greek and Latin allegiances. His motivation, according to his own diary, was "to make them stare". 'Them' refers to the Jews who protested his changes to their book.

His finished book drew from philosophy and mythology and evidence provided by Fray Jose shows that Jerome in association with Augustine was responsible for most of the New Testament. Corresponding with Augustine Jerome wrote that "the present little preface only promises four books, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John." That was around the turn of the 4th to 5th CAD. At that times there were no other books added to it. However, much has been added since and the authorship of those works is hard to prove.

Jose noted of Jerome that "the inconsistency exercised by him was overridden by his assertion of genuine intent. It shows a willingness on his part to accept lies for security purposes" (Holt 2000:225) The remainder of his actions in refining and producing the system of operation of the church can be found in the book How 666 Stole Jesus"

As to the New Testament many scholars have questioned its authenticity. Loisy (1950:225) notes that Mark consists more of an invention than a true sense and it was absorbed almost entirely in Matthew. Of Matthew he concludes that, as in Luke, "they are fables built up on biblical texts in fulfillment of prophesies.

Professor Oscar Cullman noted that Matthew was not written by its accredited author because it is anonymous and is based on Mark. "An apostle would not have needed to rely on one who was not an apostle". He further notes that where the author of a gospel is unknown it was natural for his book to be attributed to an apostle." But if the New Testament is a fake then there were no apostles.

But there are other problems with Matthew because it contains the laws of the Catholic Church which were not known prior to Jerome establishing them at the end of the 4thCAD. It appears that, in all probability, he wrote Matthew while Augustine wrote Luke, which is vastly different and which does not have Christ fleeing after his birth. Remember Egypt was considered the place of the sun during the Northern winter so it does not disappear at that time. Tis is relevant to the story of the baby, Jesus Christ, who it appears was modelled on the movement of the sun.

The furnishings, order of mass and the calendar were all borrowed from the Imperial Roman Religion and continue the sun worshiping traditions only under a different name. Even the Eucharist is displayed in a sunburst star image attached to the cross,

Finally, the Old Testament, which contradicts the New Testament entirely and warns against it, had to be annulled. The Romans did this by declaring that God changed the plan that has been operating for billions of years. They produced a story that is simple, effective and powerful enough that along with the term 'faith' they duped everyone. Faith to me is belief in the ridiculous without evidence. The icing on the cake was to convince their followers that only a priest could decipher God's world or, as we now know it as the world of 666

Top Collection 10" Krishna Statue in Cold Cast Bronze - Hindu God of Love and Divine Joy Figurine

Parts of the New Testament seem to have been based on the Indian God Lord Krishna. This avatar was in my sights when comparisons between he and Christ became obvious during my research. The light of the world is the sun and the images of Krishna as the sun is demonstrably obvious.

      This was most certainly interesting.

I am a Christian and as so do believe that Jesus Christ is our savior, however, I do not believe in a lot of things that I hear about the Catholic church.

an impressive write-up, it exactly indicates where the story of Jesus originated from. In fact a religion can be a level of comfort to some, it can furthermore be very damaging and dictatorial, a seductive kind of mentality command that has led to unseeing acceptance of bondage, scarcity, and warfare all through past history.

@norma-holt: OK. But you really didn't answer the question. What's your aversion to Jesus Christ "The Imitator," as you describe him? Below in your comments you mention there is no concrete evidence Jesus actually lived, so there is some more aversion than what you admit in your reply to me.

I must have missed the specific sources. I see some names and book or two listed, but I am asking about more specifics. Where could one go to find this information on his or her own? I actually am curious what they are. Comments like, "A recent television documentary..." aren't really specific.

@anonymous: The sources are listed and I have no aversion to Jesus - only to Jesus Christ the imitator.

Seems an interesting point of view. I'd love to know your sources in more detail.

Can I ask what the aversion Jesus is, though?

@Erin Mellor: Jerome chose the stories and wrote that in his diary and letters. There is every chance he wrote the Book of Matthew as it has church laws in it which only he knew about because he introduced them.

I think the interesting question is about who chose the books of the NT that would be included, and which would be left out, why did they make those choices and what did they have to gain? Once you get a grip on who edited the Bible, when and why, you get a much better understanding of history.

@waldenthreenet: The Dead Sea Scrolls are NOT related to the New Testament. The male name Jesus was common in that area and still is for many are so called. There is no archaeology that has yet proven that Jesus Christ ever existed or that the NT stories are true.

    • waldenthreenet profile image

Important topic and valuable presentation. My perspective on this topic is that of scholars based on archeology. The Discovery of the "Dead Sea Scrolls" adds new light to early Christianity and prelude to Synoptic Gospels. Look forward future conversation. Thanks.

@goo2eyes lm: Gloria, thought you were more educated than that. JC never wrote a word and nor did the so-called apostles. They were ignorant and uneducated and it is doubtful that any of them existed. The NT was published around the end of the 4thCAD and was done by the Catholic Church and the appointed author was Jerome. That is in the history books as well as the Vatican archives.

fairy tales are always fascinating, the bad thing is that way too many think they are real ...

what's absolutely crazy: millions of people claim to believe in gods and such but they don't follow their rules then, that's why our world is at it is, war here, war there

must be some pretty sadistic god(s) sitting up there somewhere and having fun how people fight in the name of him/her/it

@Bellezza-Decor: MiaBellezza, can you quote scriptures that show the bible to be a book of "astronomy, astrology, geometry, etc." Studying for over 20 years, I've never seen that and always saw it as a book of God's revealing of His plan of salvation throught Jesus Christ- the sacrifice for our sins. (From Genesis to Revelation.) Also sacred means "separate" or "holy", not "secret." Especially in Bible scripture context. God's plan of salvation has never been secret, although The Roman Catholic Church did attempt to during the dark ages.

      Thanks! :)

Norma, I liked your linguistic research. My research and interpretation is that the Bible is based on astronomy, i.e. the Sun, the placement of the constellations, planets, moon and the precession of the equinoxes through the ages. Along with astronomy / astrology, astrophysics and cosmology, the Bible has within it Sacred Geometry (Secret Geometry). So, while the Emporers and Popes used it to enslave and control the masses through fear, I believe it has a dual purpose. For the elites and educated Priests it was a way of transmitting through the ages the codes of the universe. So two distinct and separate uses are incorporated. Sacred (aka Secret) information for them and confusing information for us, though there are great inspirational quotes in the Bible.

Unfortunately for the elites, is that we now have access to this information. And the beauty is, that we are leaving the darkness and entering the Light of a Golden Age ASTRONOMICALLY. Their systems will collapse irrespect of what they do. They are in a last ditch effort to alter the outcome, but they will FAIL. In fact the psychopathic Satanic financial systems are collapsing now. Humanity will be Free and Thrive. More people will awaken. This certainly has been a wonderful journey for me and I anxiously await the downfall of this age of oppression and the next step up in our evolution.

A creator exists and this age of duality, that we are now leaving, was to assist us in our next step up to the age of wholeness ~ The Age of Aquarius.

It has always amazed me how little knowledge people know about their own religions. One thing you neglected to mention is the changes in the meanings of words when translating from one language to another; from Aramaic to Hebrew to Greek to King James version to the modern New Testament translations (skipping a few in between). The choices made by the translators and the changes in word meanings from then to now makes a great impact to the meanings of "The Word". Original contexts (what is known of them) had different meanings than what people understand them to be today. Also, the first writings of the New Testament didn't begin until 500 years (estimated) after the death of Jesus the Christ of Nazarene. Oh my, I could go on and on, as I am sure you already know from the research you have been doing. To cut it short, it has always been my wish that the Vatican would release all of the documents they have been hiding for centuries to let the truth be known. I don't believe I will see it in my lifetime. *Squid Angel Blessed* and I've added your link to My Squid Angel Wings to be featured in the "Culture & Society Religion" neighborhood. Happy Happy Christmas!

Hi Norma, absolutely fascinating coverage. There is no doubting the fact that the New Testament had be rewritten or 'doctored' in order to make Christianity a feasible religion, to gain control over people (mainly in the regions of the Roman empire during the 1st and 2nd century AD). Truth will prevail in the end. Thank you for featuring my lens on your page. A great and a rare honor. God bless.

Roman, Jewish, Catholic, Christian? What came first in History? The Books of the Bible as is in The Bible itself? Divided by 2 ? Old Testament, and then the New Testament? Before Christ, and after Christ? Christ, then his followers the Disciples. How many Disciples, and all their names? First their was God, and creation. (First book in the Bible.) (Old Testament). God's Angels, Joseph, and Mary. Then (God) sends his only son Jesus to teach us about life on Earth. (Old Testament). (New Testament), The disciples written part of the Bible. Through what they believed. How the World is to End. (Last book in the Bible) Thanks that's all i have.

You have so many thought provoking lenses on religion and spirituality, and this is one of them. I believe religions are a means to control the masses, and one way to do that is by compiling books and making people believe they are the "word of God" that they should govern their lives by.

The authorship & validity of the New testament will most likely never truly be revealed, I personally think people should be looking within to connect with their spiritual selves rather than seeking guidance from any second or third party sources as books, churches, clergy, ect...

Until humankind rejects all man-made religions our World will continue to fall to ruin slowly but surely...These billionare religions rely on humankinds weaknesses & desperation to continue to profit & wage their holy wars & fill their pockets...until the day humans realize tht the divine was within them all along, Religions will continue to rape & pilliage the World.
