Bruins VS Rangers

Both these teams are part of what is known as the original six NHL teams. needless to say there is a lot of history between these two great NHL team franchises. The Bruins and Rangers are known for there great defensive style of hockey play, and they look for their defensive strengths to help turn the puck over and generate goal scoring opportunity's.

When two NHL teams are known as defensive minded teams, it usually means lots of OT finishes and low scoring games. these NHL playoff round two east coast divisional match up creates lots of opportunity's for younger players to step up and show there talents, this series all amount to goaltenders the team with the better goalie will rise and move on to the next round.

Senators VS Penguins

In this series, one can only think about offensive power houses. These two teams love, and know how to hit the back of the net. Un Like the Bruins VS Rangers matchup, these teams have the ability to go Coast to coast, and generate awesome scoring chances.

With the return of some key players in the senators line up, I can only imagine that the senators will be at there best ,And they have the ability to put the high power juggernaut penguins on there heels. This round 2 playoff match up comes down to finishing scoring chances, and staying disciplined. If the Senators can shutdown sidney Crosby, then they have a great chance to move on to the eastern conference finals.

Red Wings VS BlackHawks

What a classic old school hockey style Match-Up any old time and new time hockey fans can appreciate this great western conference round 2 playoff battle. Both teams are great on both sides of the puck, both teams love to skate, and use there speed to generate unique scoring chances.

History will show that teams with veterans and previous Stanley cup champion ship teams, have the advantage in the race to the Stanley Cup. So what can happened when two teams who are facing one n another have both? I don't know but I shore cant wait to watch.

Sharks VS Kings

The Stanley cup champs from 2012 are still in the playoffs, and are a force to be reckoned with. Most players have returned to the kings and are on a mission to win the cup two years in a row. the kings are known for there goaltender stealing wins, and there special team plays. The King's are fast and furious, and are very dangerous when they control the puck deep in the Offensive zone.

The sharks how ever are known to be the heavy hitters of the west, because of there style of NHL Hockey play. The Sharks love to use the body, and are great at using the boards to their advantage. Look for the sharks to there out the kings, and grind there way to the conference nhl finals.
