Michael Gault

Northern Ireland's Linfield F.C came into their second leg against IF Fuglafjorour of the Faroe Islands with a 2-0 advantage after winning the first leg on road by that score. Andy Waterworth(68) and Philip Lowry(74) provided for Linfield.

Linfield was easily favored to advance since second leg would be in Northern Ireland, with that said two players were coming in with yellow cards and did not wanna pick up another one. Michael Gault and Billy Burns would need to play smart in this leg.

Linfield Manager David Jeffery put the following players on the pitch for the second leg. They are Jamie Mulgrew,Jim Ervin,James Knowles,Matthew Clarke,Aaron Burns,Billy Burns,Michael Carville,Peter Thomson,Philip Lowry,Michael Gault and Jonathan Tuffey. Andy Waterworth is out 6-8 weeks after breaking a bone in his leg in first meeting.

Linfield F.C vs Skoda Xanthi F.C

Skoda Xanthi F.C from Greece awaits Linfield in the next round. Xanthi has not competed in the champions or europa leagues since the 2006-2007 UEFA Cup. They lost that year to Dinamo Bucutesti 8-4 over two legs. The year before they lost 2-0 to Middlesbrough.

This will be Linfield's best chance to advance to the third round of a UEFA competition. Last year they defeated B36 Torshavn in pentaly kicks after both clubs failed to score in either match. They would lose to AEL Limassol 3-0 in next round of the Champions League. They two previous years they started in second round of Champions league only to lose 3-1 to BATE Borisov and 2-0 to Randers. So with their oppontent lacking experince they should advance.
