Odair Fortes of Stade de Reims

Only 15 goals were scored this week for the league that saw a lack of offense. With three matches completed for each club Marseille does look like the best club so far this season. The clubs battling for the title so far do not surprise me. Monaco, Lyonnias and PSG are all in position to stake their claim to title.

If season ended today Olympique de Marseille, AS Monaco FC and Olympique Lyonnais would all make it into next years Champions League while Stade Rennas FC would play in Europa League next season. Two Europa League spots will be given out in Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue.
