THE GUY, THE BIG DOG are some names that come to your head when you think about WWE Superstar Roman Reigns. One of the most polarising figures in all of WWE history. Whether you like him or not you have to admit that he is extremely gifted and definitely looks the part of a top superstar. Roman Reigns has achieved great success in his 5 year career on the main roster. Since debuting on the main roster in 2012 alongside his SHIELD brethren Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns has went on to become a 1 time WWE tag team champion with Seth Rollins, 1 time United States (Of America) Champion, 3 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, 1 time Royal Rumble Winner and 7 time Slammy Award Winner, including Superstar Of The Year in 2014. Hearing those accomplishments alone show how impressive of a career he is having and how big of a future he will have as well.

1)Family Lineage-
Judging by the photo above you can see the background Reigns has been raised from. Reigns, a member of the famous wrestling family the Anoa'i family, with members such as The Wild Samoans, Afa and Sika who are 21 time tag team champions around the globe, former 2 time WWF Champion Yokozuna, former Intercontinental Champion And 3 time tag team champion Rikishi, 3 time tag team champions The Usos, Jimmy And Jey, former Intercontinental Champion Umaga, former 8 time WWE/WWF Champion The Rock(Dwayne Johnson), Rocky Johnson, Peter Maivia, former 1 time tag team champion Rosey and many more. The list of names previously mentioned shows that Roman Reigns was definitely bred into the business and has the blood of the business running through his blood.
2)Developmental Days
Before Reigns made his presence on RAW And Smackdown, he was first making his presence in WWE's developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). Then known as Leakee, Roman made a big impact in FCW by fighting his SHIELD brethren Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in which the 3 fought against each other in a triple threat match in February 2012 which Reigns eventually went on to best his the other two. Roman picked up his first and only championship gold in FCW in a tag team with Mike Dalton (now known as Tyler Breeze in WWE) winning the FCW Florida Tag Team Championships. He also had a brief stint on WWE NXT where Reigns played an arrogant villain character beating opponents such as CJ Parker (now known as Juice Robinson in NJPW) and more.
3) Hollywood Future?
There is no doubt that Roman Reigns has the looks of a top Hollywood movie star. In fact, Roman himself expressed his interest in Hollywood in an interview with Chuck Carroll on Turnbuckle Weekly stating that "If that opportunity comes up… I’m willing to try anything and gain a little experience in anything,”. Now that Reigns has accomplished so much in the WWE maybe in a couple years we may see him join his cousin Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) on the movie sets.
4) Family
The Big Dog destroys any opponents in his path in the ring but at home he is just like anyone else with his own family. In 2014, Reigns married Galina Joelle Becker after they met each other at the Georgia Institute Of Technology and have been together since then. The couple went on to have a daughter in 2008, Joelle, who you may recognise from the "Take time to be a dad today" commercials that were shown on WWE television from 2014.
5) Not Initially A Member of The SHIELD
One of the most successful factions in all of Sports Entertainment, The SHIELD with members Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns was originally set to be quite different. Former WWE superstar CM Punk revealed that the group was supposed to be consisted of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and WWE NXT superstar Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) however, higher-ups including Triple H pushed for Roman Reigns to be added to the SHIELD as they were high on him as he was their guy. This leaves fans to wonder how much the original SHIELD would have impacted today's WWE even though the SHIELD we know now had a huge impact on WWE.
