5 Young Football Players to look Out For Next Season(2013/14)

Updated on May 6, 2013

Léo Baptistão

He has impressed this season with his performances for Rayo Vallecano, and has scored some vital goals during this season. This has made the Brazilian youngster a hot transfer target for some of Europe's biggest clubs. Whoever he makes it to next season, he will be keen to impress, and will light up the viewing for those watching. With the correct tutoring he may be able to propel himself quickly in to football stardom, but only time will tell.

Cristian Tello

Tello may be a familiar name to many of you, if you are a regular fan of Barcelona or La Liga, however since bursting on to the scene last term he has been on peripherals this season. 2013/14 will be a huge season for Tello, as Barça look to strengthen at the back, and may even dabble in changing their system, which could suit the young man who has bags of pace and could be one of the stars in a more direct system, if Barcelona would even dream of trying that.

Marco Reus

Reus is already a big name in Germany, but with the rise of the German game, and Dortmund stars leaving left, right and centre, Reus may be star man next season, and with Dortmund wanting to re-challenge for the Bundesliga and Champions League next season, the raise in his game that will be needed, could see him a favourite of everyone's around the World.

Hachim Mastour

There is not much people know about Mastour, apart from the fact he is 14-years-old, he was signed by Milan for £500,000 and he out-classes the whole of the Italian youth system. If you don't believe me check out his YouTube videos. Milan are prepared to start the youngster soon, and should he get some game-tiime next season, a Super Star could be born.

Marco Verratti

He's been running the midfield battles in Ligue 1 this season for Paris-Saint-Germain, and with the experienced heads around him in the new star-studded PSG squad, his game has no doubt improved, helping him excel. Real Madrid are looking to sign him for next season, so maybe he will be running the midfield battles against Xavi and Iniesta in El Clásico, however, should PSG want to go on and win the Champions League, they will want to keep all the young talent at there disposal. It looks like Verratti's game will improve game-by-game next season, making the possibility that he becomes a Midfield Maestro.
