6 Reasons Why You Should Go Camping!

Updated on October 15, 2014

Camping Is Exciting!

Are you looking forward your next vacation but don't know what to do with it? Intending on spending your free weeks stuck at home or busting your wallet on lame expensive hotels? Think again!

Nowadays everything is so damn expensive and tourist spots are insanely packed. Camping takes care off all that! It's cheap, it's different, it's fun and it's rewarding!

You think you hate camping because of a family trip a few years back because it was hot, crowded and uncomfortable? It isn't like that anymore!

Camping gear offers great comfort now. On top of that, there are new and well-built places for campers with activities and great views! Camping isn't what it used to be and we're going to see why you should invest more on it!

1 - First and foremost, it's CHEAP!

Yes, it's one of the biggest catches here! It's crazy cheap compared to a regular stay in a hotel, plus public transport fees, museums, attractions, etc.

When you go camping, the world is your oyster! You can open your tent and look outside from a spot that you personally picked. How cool is that? I'd say it's time to avoid the city madness and swarms of tourists and try to enjoy a nice, calm sunny day!

On top of that, if you bring your own cooking gear, you don't even need to eat out. Just a few groceries and you're set to make your own meal in your own special spot. Need more reasons? Ok!

2 - Beautiful Views!

Nature is one of the most beautiful things in the world. One that isn't treasured enough.

People are so focused on visiting historical cities, seeing monuments, or go to festivals, party places with a huge nocturne life that they seem to forget how well spent a few nights in the wild can be. How beautiful the sunrise and sunset can be or the dark sky filled with enchanting stars. It's mesmerizing!

The world is full of busy people and we're so dependent of technology that it seems we forgot how beautiful nature truly is. Nothing beats waking up with a front row seat to a sunrise at the beach with friends.

You won't regret it!

3 - Comfortable Gear!

Camping used to be horrible for me. When i go on vacations i enjoy my comfort, otherwise it doesn't feel like it!

Before going camping would mean waking up to an incredible hot sun with the tent feeling like a sauna. You would be cooked alive until you got out of it... At 6 am! Then the crazy swarms of bugs all over the place. Sick itching throughout the night. If it wasn't the itching, then it would be the cold temperatures of the night! Oh, lets not forget the uncomfortable sleeping bags! Two nights in a row in those nightmares would crush me from head to toe.

As you can see i hated camping for many reasons. Now, that's all in the past! With new camping gear it isn't the beat down it used to be. Now, it's actually comfortable to sleep in the wilderness with the right gear! Thank god! I'd be so mad when my parents told me we were going to go camping, but now we all take family trips together with our tents!

4 - Flexibility

If you enjoy flexibility, then camping it's the best fit for you. Unless you're loaded of money and can just fly around of course! But for the average Joe, the flexibility of camping is so perfect. You can change spot as you wish. One day camp next to the beach, the other go for a hill. Just perfect.

If you're able to find an isolate spot, or enjoy exploring then you'll find those special spots that are worthy of keeping in your heart. It's awesome to have those type of memories with friends or your partner! Special places that you'll share between each other for life! Terrific experiences.

5 - Building the tent!

Unlike before when building a tent would take a morning or an afternoon, now they're easily done in twenty minutes. That's insanely useful for those getaway weekends!

Few years back it was impossible to do so, since half of the first day would go to building the tent, huh. But now, it's so simple that you can just grab your gear Saturday morning and voilá. You're done! A different and adventurous weekend. Just because or why the hell not, right?

6 - Easy To Make Friends!

If you don't like to go off on an adventure alone or you just like making friends in a trip, then camping is up your alley.

There are a ton of resorts exclusively for campers. You rent out a space to build your tent and you're set. Then there are a ton of activities to do! People are so friendly in these resorts that making friends is a hard thing to NOT do!

I believe that people who enjoy camping are much more open and adventurous, thus making it so easy to build camping buddies!

Ready to start camping?

In the end, it's all about personal preferences. I believe that camping has changed a ton in the last years. It's comfortable, fun and beautiful now. It's perfect for a quick getaway from the stressful life. If you and your friends/partner are adventurous you can even look for a perfect spot. There are many and many isolated spots that are so so beautiful... You just need to find them! You'll be able to enjoy great hangouts with your loved ones inside a gorgeous scenario.

Hopefully, my list will convince you to at least try it out! Have fun and enjoy it!
