In the Spirit of ComicCon 2012

My Super Nerd Rant in the Spirit of ComiCon 2012! (May the force be with you, always.)

Oh and forgive the butchering of Lucas Films character names and creatures in the form of my inability to spell. :P

Okay, so there are over two hundred amusement parks in the United States, but only three in Oregon. I so want this to become a reality some day and if I had 10 million I'd pitch the idea to George Lucas and Lucas Films for his blessing and approval to have it built.

A Star Wars theme park would bank-roll for sure. All the elements of a well developed theme are already in place with dynamic worlds, droids, technology, space travel, the evil empire. fight together in opposition of evil and tyranny. And what better place to build it but in Southern Oregon with its beautiful forests and natural resources and all the other tourism that would benefit by this vision

What better message is there to give our kids but the light of those heroes the Defenders of good the Jedi Knights and those rebelling folk of no particular race or species but connected by the tragic circumstance of being displaced by the evil uncaring imperials. If they can do Looney Toons characters for Six Flags, and an old time cartoon mouse and a legacy of legend (Disney), there is room for Heroic Pilots, Jedi Knights, Scoundrels and Pirates, Princesses, Old Crazy Wizards, droids, Ewoks, Wookies, Hutts, GungGans, Bounty Hunters, Gerkin Wizards, Sith Lords, and a gambit of many thousand alien species all in one package.

Mr. Lucas, please make the dream a reality. The Star Wars Experience Theme Park. If I can only have one wish for my birthday let this happen! :D LOL! I loved Star Tours as a kid, Now they have another experience I hear. But I want to be able to walk on Tattooine. I want to ride a speeder through the forest of Endor as I am chased by Imperial Storm Troopers all the while dodging falling Ewok booby traps. To then be taken on-board an Imperial walker while Chewbaca and two Ewoks fight for control of the walker and their crazy adventure through a battlefield and how the nearly escaped death to come upon Han Leia the Droids at the force field power station. I want to ride shotgun to Anakin while he takes us on the Boonta Eve Pod Race 3D Adventure. I want to take a walk through the mystical swamps of Degoba and follow the training of Luke Skywalker by Master Yoda to then enter the cave of the long dead Sith Lord who's evil energy is imprinted into the very ground which it soured with his evil. I want to take a restaurant cruise on a submarine craft piloted by our GunGun tour guide Jar Jar Binks. The Pilot Jar Jar would be a 3D hologram in 3D space similar to those used to create the Pop Rap Group The Gorillaz and more recently the Late Michael Jackson.

I'm sure many of you follow me here. :) I know this is a winded diatribe but if you've read this far then awesome! You could walk through the city like Curasant with a very mall like atmosphere with shops, air cars, droids, aliens, and holograms. Much like City Walk at Universal Studios.

Well this image is not mine but it is nice to know that this dream is shared by others out there. If enough of us Star Wars fanatics dream on it, the better the odds of it happening in our life times. It just takes a spark to ignite a fire storm after all.

There is no try, only do or do not.

This had better happen! I was actually telling my friends just the other day that this would be an awesome park idea.
