Yesterday was the realization of my kid's much cherished dream as he could visit Adlabs Imagica through a picnic from his father’s office. Adlabs Imagica is a theme park in Khopoli on Mumbai-Pune Express Highway. The enormous rides inside the park made him switch from one to the other like a robot. It claims that it is India’s first and only International Standard theme park. Adlabs Entertainment Ltd. is the proprietor of this sublime extravaganza, Imagica.

Adlabs Imagica has a cost of about 1,600crores spread over 300 acres. With amusement rides, dining, shopping and lodging, Imagica is a blooming mega tourist destination in the suburbs of Mumbai.

The kid was so excited about it and his description of the roller coaster ride was funny. He hollered:

“The coaster took me near the sun in a finger twist straight and blew me down ‘bang’! Then the loop made me draw a circle flying and the inversion gave me a jump upside down.”!!!

Adlabs Imagica claims to possess India’s largest and wildest roller coaster, the Nitro. This staggering 132 feet high structure operates at a high speed dispensing 150 seconds of wild excitement with floorless units through 5 loops and inversions.

Scream machine ride

The newly opened amusement theme park, Adlabs Imagica in Mumbai arranges a scream machine ride for brave hearts. I don’t say that my kid is brave, but he straightaway headed to it, fastened the seat belt and took the ride without much scream during his trip.

As the name tells, scream machine ride makes one scream the lungs out. This machine is a huge circular shaped structure with well-equipped seats suspended in the air for swinging. The swinging is also for those who want absolute disorientation.

As the time starts, the machine spins first to gather momentum. When riders think that they can manage it’s movements, it soon swings steep at an angle of 120 degrees and push back at a height of 148 feet below ground level.

Would you like to go for such a highly suspended air ride to be crazy?

Next one is a water adventure through a boat ride named Rajasaurus River Adventure based on a theme. A scientist named Dr.Roy is highly fond of dinosaurs in which the mighty Rajasaurus attracts him most. He is on a quest to discover this dinosaur in this boat ride in which we also can join.

This water boat adventure leads you through a narrow stream first with a setting of the pre-historic era. Then the boat reaches a cave that opens just to enter a rather wide lagoon with some artificially set natural scenery all around.

After sometime, an ambush dinosaur scares your way. Then a sudden steep fall through a cascade gives an adrenalin rush in the waters. Then the boat reaches its bank set in stunning scenery.

After the ride, my kid was coming out with flying colors in his face.

During my kid’s trip to Imagica, he saw some stores where shopping could be done after enjoying the rides. In the evenings he went there and it was a quaint store with lots of accessories and toys like those in fairytales. Though they were expensive, he wanted to take something from the Imagica village to home to reminisce his delightful moments spent there.

He bought a shiny water bottle having metallic color coating with a seal of Adlabs Imagica. He didn’t forget me and wanted to gift me a handbag. It was a mild blue colored bag with a pink flap. The store items itself tell us the magic that Imagica is offering its guests.

Hi Radhika, You have really given us a good motivation to visit this sublime extravaganza , Adlabs Entertainment and I had a good laugh when I read the way your son had described the various rides ! But the truth is that is the perfect explanation because these rides make us really feel we are touching the sun in a finger twist straight and also making a jump outside down!

      Hi MsDora,

For me too, river adventure only goes well. Screaming machine ride requires lots of courage. Thanks for commenting.
