Alabama will be 2011 BCS National Champions in football

Updated on August 19, 2011

The Crimson Tide is gonna roll in 2011.

8/15/2011 By: Mark Terry

2011 is gonna be another big year for Alabama Football.

Trent Richardson will be a front runner for the Heisman Trophy, and with Alabama's schedule I would be shocked if they weren't playing for the BCS National Championship this year.

Here is Alabama's Schedule for 2011

  • Kent State @ Tuscaloosa,Ala
  • Penn State @ State College,Pa
  • North Texas @ Tuscaloosa,Ala
  • Arkansas @ Tuscaloosa,Ala
  • Florida @ The Swamp,Fla
  • Vanderbilt @ Tuscaloosa,Ala
  • Ole Miss @ Oxford,Miss
  • Tennessee @ Tuscaloosa,Ala
  • LSU @ Tuscaloosa,Ala
  • Mississippi State @ Starkville,Miss
  • Georgia Southern @ Tuscaloosa,Ala
  • Auburn @ Auburn,Ala
  • SEC Championship - (I think it is not on the schedule) @ Atlanta-Ga
  • BCS National Champion - I think it is not on the schedule)

I think that Alabama will go undefeated in the regular season and even if they do have one loss they would jump a undefeated team due to the BCS strength schedule, to play for SEC Championship.

Then when they win that,it is off to the BCS National Championship game again.

Right now Alabama is ranked #2 in the country

Nick Saban has always been known for his defense coaching and this yr we have 10 starters from last years team returning.

Mark Barron is the star of the defense,he will be the starting safety.

Two defensive players to keep a eye on

  • Donte Hightower
  • Courtney Upshaw

The offense is returning 6 starters

Trent Richardson will be the leader of the offense.

He is an amazing running back,

Then his back-up is Eddie Lacy...who will be a huge part of Alabama offense.

Two players on Offense to watch

Quarterback A.J McCarron will put up huge stats in 2011.

Wide receiver Darius Hanks will finally get to show off his amazing skills

I know that coach Nick Saban in still mad from last year when we had Auburn destroyed in the first half and Auburn came back and won the game and the BCS Championship.

You will not see that again this year.

That is over.

Alabama is building another huge dynasty, the depth charts are so deep at every position that our second string team could be most teams first string.

The crimson tide is gonna roll in 2011.

Roll Tide Roll.

Believe it or not I fell asleep at halftime of that game I was really tired fro work but when I woke up I saw Cam Newton celebrating ....it made me sick.

I think that Alabama should have easily won that game.

I agree they did not finish. I was impressed by Auburn's defence last year,I'm glad Farley is gone, ROLL TIDE

Hi manthy! I'm not really into sports. But I'll defend my right to call myself a HURRICANE. (University of Miami, Miami, Florida.) In the same way you go 'RAH! RAH! Sis Boom Bah!' and show your team spirit too! It's all good.
