Sequence of events

ICC WORLD CUP (March 2015) :"IT WAS A NO BALL"

It all began last year in worldcup 2015 when Rohit Sharma was given not out by the umpire calling it a no ball for a waist high full toss when he was bating on just 19.The television replays showed that the umpire had got it wrong. Rohit went on to score a century and India won the match comfortably resulting in Bangladesh's exit from the world cup.Events like this are common in cricket and cricket fans and players are habitual to it.But this did not go well with Bangladesh fans and they started flooding social media with hate comments for the umpires, Indian cricket board (BCCI) , the International Cricket Council (ICC).It was difficult for them to digest the fact that this is sports and such things do happen.Cricket in India is a religion and this trolling from Bangladesh did not go well with the Indian fans either.Indian fans started befitting replies to Bangladeshi posts and comments on almost every cricket page. But this was just the beginning..

India tour of Bangladesh (June 2015) :

After loosing to India in world cup , Bangladesh fans were desperately waiting for this series. In the test series as expected India dominated major part but unfortunately for them, the matches were drawn due to rains. Then came the ODI series and Bangladesh fans were back in action. Bangladesh managed to beat India in the first 2 matches and eventually went on to win the series 2-1 and Bangladesh fans started the ugly war of trolling and abusing Indian Cricket again on social media.Bangladesh fans abused India in every possible way. They posted morphed pics of Indian cricketers with their heads shaved by Bangladesh players, they called Bangladesh team as tigers and took arrogance to all new level. This continued as Bangladesh managed to beat South Africa in a subsequent series.Indian team was not their only target. They abused Pakistan fans and Pakistan cricketers as well. This setup a social media war between the cricket fans of these Asian countries!

T-20 Asia Cup (FEB-March 2016) :

With all the social media war for past one year , Asia cup was expected to be a hot contest and it turned out to be no different. Bangladesh fans were confident of their team so were the Indians who had recently white washed Australia in Australia in T-20 tournament.Pakistan and Sri Lanka were relatively under prepared for the tournament and had very imbalanced side.Bangladesh managed to beat both the out of form teams Sri Lanka and Pakistan and their fans were again on cloud 9. They humiliated especially the Pakistan fans on every online platform. Most ugly part of it was morphed pics of Bangladesh bowler carrying chopped head of Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This kind of hatred was new to cricket and never seen before.Even with India -Pakistan cricket rivalry , it remained limited to cricket and never turned so nasty. Indian people (for whom cricket is religion and cricketers are no less than god ) very raged by this and could not tolerate their heroes been insulted by Bangladesh.India lived up to the expectations and thrashed Bangladesh to lift the Asia cup for 6th time. But this did not stop here.Indian fans gave Bangladeshis the taste of their own medicine and showed them why India was the number one team and made them realize that they were still minnows. Not only this, some Indian hackers took this to next level and hacked almost 15 Bangladeshi websites and trolled them with content glorifying India and abusing Bangladesh.Bangladesh fans since then have been outraged and are spamming cricket pages with "ICC = BCCI" messages .They started linking everything in cricket to India and BCCI . Recently 2 of Bangladeshi bowlers were suspected of illegal bowling action.Bangladeshi fans accused Indian cricket board of using its muscle in trying to stop Bangladesh in world cricket.Though this is funny, but the fans have made a perception in their minds about India and their emotions are just bursting out on social media. Most of the times the comments and posts are useless and make no sense at all.The language used is horrible but they continue to desperately show their hatred for India.Indian fans on the other hand are just making fun of Bangladesh which is adding salt to injury. But this is not the end.T-20 worldcup has started and the intensity is on!
