Legends of the Extreme Championship Wrestling

1. Terry Funk- Funk has won the ECW heavyweight championship on two different occasions. He used to be a traditional wrestler but when he came to ECW he became a hard core wrestling star. Among his rivals were Cactus Jack, Shane Douglas, Sabu and The Sandman. He had two signature finishing moves which were the Piledriver and the Sleeper hold. Funk came from a wrestling background and has been involved in barbed wire matches, cage matches and no rules bouts.

2. Shane Douglas- The Franchise, as he is called, won the ECW World Heavyweight championship four total times and also he was a former tag team champion in his first go around with this organization. He became a heel early in his career which allowed him to attract fans who wanted to root against him and his arrogance. He has won bouts legally and by cheating during his long wrestling career.

3. Mick Foley- Cactus Jack won the ECW Tag Team championship two times and has had a running feud with several wrestling stars. Among his opponents were Tommy Dreamer, 911 and Shane Douglas. His finishing move at Extreme Championship wrestling was the Double Underhook DDT. He is considered along with Terry Funk as the first and best ever hard core wrestlers in history.

4. Rob Van Dam- RVD has held the ECW World heavyweight title and his reign as the television champion is still a record at 700 days. RVD also won the Tag Team Championships twice in their tenure at the ECW. His main finisher was the Five Star Frog Splash. He was know to use a chair for his other big moves whether it was a weapons match or not. Some of his main rivals were: Sabu, The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer and Randy Orton.

5. The Sandman- Jim Fullington has won the ECW World heavyweight title a record five times in his career. He had long standing feuds with Cactus Jack, Raven, Terry Funk and Test. His finishing moves were The Rolling Rock and the White Russian Leg sweep. His gimmick was that of a pimp and he cheated using a cane pole walking stick to hurt other wrestlers with. Even though he was a cheater he still possessed skills.

6. Raven- The Raven had much success at ECW winning the World Heavyweight crown twice and the world tag team titles four times. His finishing move was called the Even Flow DDT, which was a snap DDT. His skits were funny because he would read Edgar Allen Poe and say Quote the Raven. He had many adversaries to say the least including: Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, Terry Gordy and Dr. Death (Steve Williams).

7. "Hot Stuff"Eddie Gilbert - At ECW he was more than a wrestler. Hot Stuff was a promotor, booker and an entertainer. As far as in the ring performance, he won the ECW Tag Team World Titles and he was elected into the Hard Core Hall of Fame in 2009 which is an honor. His finishing move was the Hot Shot which is an inverted Flapjack. He was also known for the pile driver and the figure four leg lock. He feuded with them all including Sting and Chris Adams.

8. Dean Malenko- While at the ECW, The Man of 1,000 Holds, won the tag team world title with partner Chris Benoit and also he won the world Television championship twice. He finished with The Texas Cloverleaf preceded by a perfectly executed Power Bomb. His nickname was The Shooter and he had the MMA Gimmick going for him. He had issues with Eddie Guerrero, 2 Cold Scorpio, Shane Douglas and Johnny Grunge.

9. Sabu- He has won many championship belts during his stay in this company including the Heavyweight title twice, Tag Team title three times and the Television champion one time. His finisher was the Arabian Clutch or the Camel Clutch. He fought with the best including Terry Funk, Shane Douglas and the tag team known as Public Enemy. Although he was not very fast he was ultra powerful and he used his strength to out muscle his competition.

10. Mike Awesome- Awesome won the ECW World Heavyweight title twice and tag team world titles once with tag team partner Raven. His finishing move was the Awesome Bomb, which was a Running Shoulder Power Bomb. He wrestled with the best including: Masato Tanaka, Tommy Dreamer and Atsushi Onita. Awesome could do it all inside the squared circle including high flying top rope jumps.

      Rob Van Dam was the whole "F$#&ing show". Don't forget Tommy Dreamer, the innovator of violence.
