Boxing Is A Very Dangerous Contact Sport

Boxing is a extraordinary because when the boxers are in training for a professional fight they wear protective gear to protect themselves from hurting each other especially, to their head.

But, when they are fighting for real in the boxing ring they do not wear any protective gear except below their waist. Because all they seem to have on their minds during a fight is how many hits they land on their component body especially, the head and winning by a knock out. Not even realizing that too many hits or blows to a head could kill them or their opponent.

Some is the injuries a boxer can receive from a boxing match are: brain injury, concussion, broken jaw, broken nose, fractured ribs, blindness, paralysis, chronic nervous disease, progressive tumor, weakening of the muscles , Parkinson's disease even death.

I call this sport extraordinary because it is not normal for people to hit each other on the head because it can cause brain damage. And the person may not be a to live a normal life anymore.
