Cheap Restaurants at Disney World Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom
Spending the day at Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom promises to be full of adventure, laughter and fun. But a trip to these wonderful parks can be expensive. Here are some ways to find some cheap eats at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. I will offer a real review of the food and advice about how to find cheap but healthy and delicious fare.
If you are looking for cheap food at Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, go here.
Hollywood Studios
The quick service food here is hit or miss. Here's some advice about how to find cheaper options while in the park.
ABC Commissary
This place used to be a lot better than it is now. However, there are a few options that are decent for lunch which are both cheap and healthy.
The restaurant includes hamburgers, seafood and chicken dishes. The Asian Salad is a good deal at $7.19 but shoots up almost three dollars in price if you add meat to it. The Coucous, Quinoa and Arugula Salad is also a good deal at $6.79 but also goes up by three dollars to add meat. This place has a changing menu so it doesn’t hurt to walk by (just veer left at the Chinese Theater) and read the menu outside the door.

This is a favorite among guests. Some declare it to be the best barbeque on property. The cheapest barbeque is a Pork Sandwich for $8.99. If you are in the mood for a hearty meal, you can get a ribs and chicken combo for $11.99 and split it. The combo includes baked beans and cole slaw.

Pizzafari
This restaurant gets very busy at lunch time and it is sometime hard to find a place to sit. Choices include pizzas ranging from $8.99 to $9.49. The pizzas, in my family’s opinion, are not very good and are mostly bread with very little sauce, cheese or toppings. (see picture)
The Hot Italian-Style Sandwich for $8.99 or the Chicken and Vegetable Pasta Salad for $8.99 are better bets.
Kids’ choices include pizza, mac and cheese and turkey sandwich for $5.99 or peanut butter and jelly for $5.49
Restaurantosaurus
This place has the most fast-food style options such as hamburgers and hot dogs. They do have some healthier options including a Vegetable Subosaurus or Grilled Chicken Sandwich $9.59.
All of the menu iterms are a bit higher priced with the cheapest option being the Macaroni and Cheese hot dog for $8.79. (It’s just what it sounds like—they add mac and cheese to the top of a hot dog).

Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, in my opinion, have much weaker choices overall when you are trying to eat cheaply and well. You can find what you need to fit your budget but be aware that their choices are limited at these two parks.
