Finding Powerful Airsoft Guns

Do you like Airsoft guns as much as I do? I began as an amateur Dad that loved shooting Airsoft guns with his sons about 5 years ago and the hobby has progressed for all of us ever since. This page will include a review and list of the best amateur as well as professional Airsoft guns available.

5 stars for Jing Gong G608 Airsoft Electric Gun G36c AEG

Jing Gong G608 Airsoft Electric Gun G36c AEG

This heavy duty airsoft electric gun does it all - it fires BBs at 350fps (feet per second) and maintains accuracy up to 120 feet, while still featuring a side fold stock for increased maneuverability in close quarters. The hop-up is adjustable, giving the shooter greater control. And the 400-round Hicap magazine means you'll have plenty of firepower whenever you need it, whether you prefer to fire single shot or full auto.

This is a very well constructed gun. The body is made from heavy grade ABS plastic, which offers superior durability and impact resistance without the added weight of metal. The metal gearbox ensures longevity. And the built-in Rail Interface System allows greater flexibility to add whichever attachments your battles may require.

An 8.4v 1100mAH Battery powers the G608. First time users sometimes find the battery panel difficult to open. Modeled after the compact version of the Heckler & Koch G36 assault rifle, this offers an exciting replica of a gun that sees service around the globe in various police, military, and Special Forces units. And weighing in just under six pounds (2.7kg), it feels almost like the real thing.

UTG Airsoft UHC 1911 Pistol

The perfect sidearm for any battle! This precision airsoft pistol combines excellent performance, solid construction, and a realistic look and feel, all in one fun and affordable package.

The tension spring fires BBs at speeds over 300fps (feet per second), without the need for batteries or gas. It delivers superior accuracy, thanks to its fixed hop-up that compensates for bullet drop by giving the rounds backspin. And even better, its 22 round capacity allows you to keep shooting after other pistols have run out.

The trigger and hammer are both metal, increasing longevity and reliability. Physically a replica of John Browning's M1911 design, which served as the standard-issue side arm for the United States armed forces for over seventy years, this gun measures 8.5 inches in length and weighs 1.25 pounds. While this is more than a pound shy of the real thing, its heavy weight (for an airsoft pistol) lends to a more believable experience.

This gun tends to have the best accuracy with 0.20g BBs; it fires a bit high when loaded with 0.12g rounds. Some users may find it a little difficult to cock, but its performance more than makes up for this. The manufacturer also covers any defects with a limited 90-day warranty.

UTG Everblast CQB Special Ops Airsoft Shotgun

The UTG Everblast CQB Special Ops Airsoft Shotgun is the gun for enthusiasts who prefer the look and feel of a pump action shotgun. There's nothing quite as dramatic when you want to show that you mean business.

Made from heavy-duty ABS plastic and metal components, and powered by a tension spring, it can fire rounds over 300fps (feet per second) without using batteries or gas. The gun measures 27 inches, weighs 4.25 pounds, and comes with a six-position law enforcement stock. The adjustable hop-up affords the shooter more precision.

While the gun is single fire (no spread or burst), it is easy to cock, and holding the trigger down allows you to slam-fire as quickly as you can pump the action, although this is not recommended. It also comes with a spare combat magazine and a speed loader to keep you in the game. The standard magazines hold 20 rounds; a larger one is available that holds 180.

Finished in a non-glare matte black, this shotgun looks quite fetching. It even comes with a metal swivel and a tactical tri-rail mount system so you can accessorize according to your needs.

Gamo Silent Cat Air Rifle

This is the best selling rifle on Amazon for a reason. The high-powered, .177 caliber is suitable for small game hunting and pest control. Keeping squirrels and rodents away from your garden and attic has never been so fun! It is not a toy, only those 16 years and older should use it. Its maximum velocity is 1,200 FPS when using PBA ammo. Regular lead ammo has a velocity of about 1,000 FPS. Using the 4x magnification, 32-millimeter scope will give you superb accuracy. The non-removable sound dampener decreases the noise by 52 percent; no need to alarm the neighbors!

The durable, all weather, black synthetic stock allows you to hunt in any condition. The ventilated rubber pads allow for recoil absorption. The single stage trigger is much easier to use and much smoother than the two stage triggers.

It may take awhile to accurately set the scope, but once you do, you will be amazed at how consistently it performs.

The price is very reasonable. For $140, you get the most for your money. The gun is very well made and extremely comfortable to hold. It is lightweight, easy to use, and the accuracy just can't be beat.

Double Eagle Spring M22 Silenced Pistol FPS-300 Airsoft Gun

Sometimes we need a reminder that airsoft isn't just about open war - you know, the type of reminder that drives sweet cars, wears cool tuxedos, and looks awesome as it screws a silencer on a deadly weapon to make it even more deadly. And if you've ever wanted to let your inner spy out, the Double Eagle Spring M22 Silenced Pistol FPS-300 Airsoft Gun is for you.

Constructed of durable ABS plastic, it has a metal barrel and comes with a metal magazine that holds 15 rounds. It is spring powered, eliminating the need for batteries or gas, and shoots at 300fps (feet per second). The screw-on silencer may not be functional, but it looks sweet and brings the gun's total length to an impressive 13.5 inches. And the built-in hop-up increases range and accuracy by applying backspin to each BB that exits the muzzle. .

This gun is for those who need to prove that simply shooting your friends is not enough, unless it's done with both stealth and style. The silver barrels even contrasts nicely with the black body, giving the M22 a sophisticated look. So, the next time you're adjusting that bow tie in the mirror, make sure you have at least one of these tucked in your jacket.
