The Best of Diego Maradona

In the 1990 World Cup, he led Argentina to the final, but the team had to settle for second place, losing against Germany. The problem arose when the news of drugs against Maradona went public in 1991 when he was expelled from Naples after failing a doping test. Maradona returned to Spain, playing for Sevilla and then to Argentina to play for Newell's Old Boys.

In the 1994 World Cup, when the anti-doping test found it had used "ephedrine", FIFA banned him from playing for a year. The Argentine team has just defeated in the second round of the tournament for the Romania. After the suspension, Maradona returned to Boca Juniors, where he played until 1997. At 37 years withdrew permanently from football fields. In 2000 he was in a rehabilitation facility in Cuba, where he decided to write his autobiography, "Yo soy el Diego."That same year, was voted best athlete of the century in a poll organized by FIFA on internet.
