The Kalashnikov AK47 AIMS Blowback Electric Airsoft Rifle by Cybergun
If you are in the market for an AK47 electric airsoft rifle with lifelike blowback action, you need to take a look at Cybergun's version of the Kalashnikov AEG.
The first time you place this electric airsoft rifle in your hands, you're going feel the heft that this rifle has. It weighs in at just over 8 pounds, adding to the realism of this airsoft rifle. The entire gun is all metal with the exception of the simulated wood foregrip.
It comes with a high capacity metal banana magazine capable of holding over 550 rounds of ammunition, which this electric airsoft rifle spews out at 800 rounds per minute at blistering speeds. The windup action for the magazine is operated with your finger, alleviating the problem of a lost key for windup. At over 530 feet per second with .12g bbs and over 410 feet per second with .2g bbs, the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 will shoot accurately out to 175 feet.
As with most other electric airsoft rifles, this gun incorporates an adjustable hop-up, with Cybergun's BAX system. This feature allows the shooter to dial in their shot for maximum accuracy at short and long distances. A semi automatic setting allows for single shots at the enemy. But believe me, when you fire this rifle in the full-auto mode, you'll want to blast the enemy with a line of fire that they'll never be able to escape.
The front sight is post, with the rear sight being adjustable. The folding all metal buttstock is another awesome feature of this electric airsoft rifle. With just the push of a button, the stock will fold up against the base of the rifle and catches with a magnet incorporated into the buttstock.
And, to add even more realism to this electric airsoft rifle, Cybergun has incorporated a blowback feature that slides back and forth with each and every shot, producing a lifelike sound. Yes, this does make more noise, alerting your enemies of your position, but with the rate of fire and the speed of the ammunition, they don't stand a chance anyway.
Metal gears and a metal gearbox round out this AK47, adding to the quality and reliability that this electric airsoft rifle offers. Compared to other stock AK47's, the Cybergun Kalashnikov AIMS Blowback with the BAX hop-up system outperforms the majority of the competition. It is highly accurate and very fast, even with the heavier bbs. The only drawback that's evident is the noise factor associated with this gun when firing. But again, with the speed and quick delivery of the ammunition, that drawback is minimalized.

More On The Kalashnikov AK47 Electric Airsoft Rifle
As with most electric airsoft guns, the charge of the battery is relevant to the amount of shooting that the enthusiats is going to put the gun through. With the Kalashnikov AK47 from Cybergun, the battery, which is an 8.4v 1100mAh NiMH battery, will go through 7 or 8 fully loaded magazines before needing recharged, which uses a 250 mah trickle charger. That's roughly 3,500 to 4,00 rounds of ammunition that you can blast at the enemy before needing to recharge.
If you are a serious airsoft sportsman, then I would highly suggest a spare battery and magazine to keep you in the field longer. Also, the battery can be upgraded to a 9.6v for even greater power and firing rate. With the charge time for the 8.4 volt battery of about 4 hours, you can see how having an extra battery on hand will improve your odds on the battlefield. And having a spare magazine will also come in handy. Firing the electric airsoft rifle on full auto, the magazine will be empty in less than a minute.
Take a look at what some of the AK47 owners are saying about this electric airsoft rifle:
Things I liked:It is a very heavy metal and wood gun. NO plastic. Fires at a very impressive rate of fire (faster than my Thompson). It is accurate and holds over 500 BBs in the clip. It fires so rapidly, that you have to stop and wind the clip frequently.
What others should know:This is the best gun I have seen and fired. We have over 10 airsoft guns in my house.
Things I would have changed:The wood, as stated by other reviewers, is plywood.
Things I liked:gun is heavy full metal. shoots perfect and hard. full auto or semi easy to load clip looks like the real ak47.
What others should know:maybe get two batteries especially when playing in field and on full auto the clip goes fast so maybe two of them as well.
So there you have it. As you can see, actual owners of this electric airsoft rifle are happy with the gun, and do recommend that an extra battery and magazine are a good idea. Yes, the wood is plywood, well actually laminated plywood, but it is very lifelike and has an extremely durable finish on it, eleminating the chance of getting damaged even when playing in snow or rain.
The AK47 is a very popular electric airsoft rifle for enthusiats, and the Kalashnikov AEG Blowback from Cybergun is one of the top guns in its class.
