FIFA World Cup 2010 Game Today

Updated on July 7, 2010

The Psychic Octopus is at it again

At 2:30pm/ET time on ESPN, Germany will meet Spain on the playing field. The now famous Octopus, Paul, has predicted the out come of the game with Spain as the contender for the win. Though, I'm sure Germany is hoping that this one time Paul the Octopus will be wrong in his predictions in the FIFA World Cup semifinal match.

So far the phenomenal cephalopod has predicted with 100% accuracy all of Germany's matches in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Predicting all the victories against teams such as Ghana, England, and Argentina. And also predicting their loss to Serbia.

Though I'm sure the German's are hoping that Paul the Octopus will be wrong in this FIFA World Cup Match up. Because the last time Paul predicted the outcome of these two teams was in 2008 at the European Championship finals. Paul then predicted that Germany would win, and it ended up Spain winning 1-0.

So let's hope Germany is crossing their fingers in today's FIFA World Cup semifinals match and playing to the best of their abilities, as the Octopus holds a strong 9-1 record since 2008.
