Mayweather Strengths & Weaknesses

Floyd Mayweather's Weaknesses against McGregor: Zero

Floyd Mayweather's Strengths against McGregor: Boxing Skills, Defense, speed, Experience and Everything Else You Can Think of. He has the more experienced corner.

The fact is Floyd Mayweather will probably dominate this bout for nearly every single second of the fight, for as long as it last. Mayweather won a bronze medal in the Olympics all the way back in 1996. He has been a dominate and undefeated champion in the pro game since 1998. Floyd schools very skilled boxers so what do you think he will do to a guy making his pro debut. Think about this: Michael Jordan is the best basketball player ever but when he tried to enter baseball in the minor league with the Birmingham Barons he was one of the worst players. I hate to say it but this will be easy work for Mr. Mayweather. Do not forget that Mayweather's best asset is his defensive abilities. If Hall of Fame boxers can not do major damage to Mayweather then a Mixed Martial Arts fighter has no chance under boxing rules.

McGregor Strengths & Weaknesses

McGregor's Weaknesses Against Mayweather: Inexperience, Zero Pro Boxing Bouts and anything else you can think of to do with prizefighting.

McGregor's Strengths Against Mayweather: Zero

Conor McGregor, barring a very lucky punch, will get defeated with ease and more than likely embarrassed and stopped. McGregor is a special MMA fighter but he cannot kick, knee or elbow at all. An uphill battle that he has slim to none chance of winning is what the Irishman can expect. McGregor better hope for a cut stoppage from a lucky shot which probably will not be happening. It is great for Mr. McGregor to secure his financial future but the humiliation will tarnish his legacy. McGregor has heart, speed and power. Those three things make the bout interesting but realistically McGregor is not a prizefighter. The Irishman needs to attack the body cause he is not going to land nothing solid upstairs.

And the Winner Is...

What do you think will be the result of Mayweather vs McGregor?

Floyd Mayweather's Ways to Victory

Floyd Mayweather can box from the outside for 12 rounds and secure a safety first, easy win. Mayweather can also use sharpshooting accuracy and counter punching to produce a knockout. To be blunt, Mayweather can win this bout anyway he chooses. Early or late stoppage. Cuts stoppage. Easy decision. If Mayweather uses the jab he can pitch a perfect shut out with ease. McGregor has never had an amateur or professional boxing bout. Mayweather won a bronze medal in the Olympics as an amateur. In the pro ranks, Floyd Mayweather is 48-0 and has won titles in 5 different weight classes. Mayweather can when this bout with a broken hand. Broken foot? Maybe. I'll watch the bout but only at a restaurant or bar cause it is not worth the price ticket.

Floyd Mayweather chance of winning: 97%

Conor McGregor's Ways to Victory

The Notorious has virtually no chance to win but if he can throw everything he has right away he may land a lucky punch and catch Mayweather cold for the knockout. No other outcome is possible for the Mixed Martial Arts great. The problem is that outcome is highly unlikely. I like Conor and the UFC but this is simply not in the Octagon. Entirely different sport with different rules altogether.

Conor MGregor chances of winning: 3%
