Screenwriter. Sometimes I'll write something up on here when I'm feeling inspired. Check out all of my past WWE articles on my profile

Over the past two years, the members of the WWE Universe have seen the growth of 205 Live right in front of their eyes. It seems like every single week there's a new nominee for best Cruiserweight match of the year as the superstars have pulled out all the stops to make their show must-see.

When 205 Live first came about, not a soul knew how amazing it would actually turn out to be. The Cruiserweight Classic was such an exciting time for wrestling fans to be able to witness new superstars, new personas, and most importantly, new high-flying moves inside the squared circle to make their jaws drop.

Although the different style of wrestling was innovative, fresh, and unlike the rest of the WWE, fans started to drift away from 205 Live. The special vibes that they all were feeling were quickly disintegrating to the point where the roster needed to beat up a "Certified G" every week for fans to watch.

Afters months of hard work and eagerness to succeed, two superstars stepped up in a way that nobody expected anyone to. Mustafa Ali and Cedric Alexander took it upon themselves to kick it up to a notch and put on matches that truly exemplified what 205 Live should have been about all along. The two quickly became The Heart and The Soul of the show, which led to one of the best matches either of them have ever had at the grandest stage of them all---WrestleMania.

The battle of Heart vs Soul for the Cruiserweight title on the biggest night of the WWE year was the epitome of all the hard work and dedication the two talented superstars put in for that moment. They not only catapulted their careers that night, but they helped catapult the entire roster of 205Live and represented them in the highest way imaginable.

Ever since those two tore it down in the ring at last year's WrestleMania, 205 Live has been on another level of excitement. The matches each week have been so extremely breathtaking that the WWE Universe have now strapped on their seat belts, just waiting for Tuesday night to come around to enjoy the crazy ride.

Some of today's talent in the Cruiserweight division that I believe will continue to make 205 Live must-watch are:

Buddy Murphy: The surprising move over to 205 Live from NXT got fans excited, but unsure what Buddy would bring to the show. However, it's safe to say that whenever he's in that ring, he makes sure he puts on the greatest match possible. He's a show-stealer personified and it doesn't seem like the current Cruiserweight champ is about to slow down anytime soon.

Tony Nese: Probably the most improved superstar on the 205 Live roster, Nese has made us all aware that he's done not being in the spotlight. He wants his opportunities and he wants them NOW. The matches he's put on during the last few months have been absolutely breath-taking. It's time for Tony Nese to take this momentum of his and turn it into GOLD.

Noam Dar: As the most underrated superstar in the entire WWE, in my opinion, Noam Dar has proven that he can GO in that ring. His recent feud with Tony Nese certainly has put him back on the map and has undeniably made him become a viable threat to the Cruiserweight title sooner rather than later.

Ariya Daivari: I believe that this man is the hidden gem of 205 Live. Coming back from injury, Daivari is now searching for the opportunity to take that spotlight away from his fellow Cruiserweights. With his hard-hitting style alongside his persistent confidence, there's zero chance that Daivari is going to let ANYBODY hold him back.

Kalisto: One of the most exciting in-ring competitors in all of WWE, Kalisto has provided some of the most awe-inspiring maneuvers in recent history. Who can ever forget that he Salida Del Sol'ed an Uso from atop of a ladder onto another at TLC 2015?! The man is always ready to entertain fans all over the world, and he knows how to party--Lucha style!

Drew Gulak: Is there any doubt that Gulak is the best technical wrestler on the 205 Live roster? The man can make any superstar tap out at any given time, making him an immediate threat to anyone stepping into the ring with him. He's taken a break from presenting his Powerpoint presentations and now captivating us by presenting his remarkable talent inside the squared circle.

The Brian Kendrick: The veteran of the 205 Live roster might be the most intelligent in-ring performer on the show. The former Cruiserweight champion looks to Slice some Bread and somehow get back on top in 2019. With the experience under his belt, I wouldn't be surprised if that happened this year at all.

Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik: These exciting members of the Lucha House Party have cemented themselves as two of the most entertaining, high-flying performers in all of WWE. Their innovative maneuvers mixed in with their high-power energy makes the WWE Universe jump up out of their seats in shock and awe. The party is just getting started, people!

Mike and Maria Kanellis: Since coming over to the most exciting hour of television, Mike and Maria have made their mission known. They want to TAKE OVER the entire Crusierweight division. Could The Power of Love enable the Kanellis' to reign supreme in 2019?

Jack Gallagher: This man has a whole lot of moves that he hasn't even pulled out of his bag of tricks yet. One of the best mat wrestlers in all of WWE will look to continue his partnership with Drew Gulak on their quest for a better 205 Live.

Humberto Carrillo: The newcomer has already opened the eyes of every person who has watched 205 Live in the past few weeks. Humberto makes everything he does in that ring look a hundred times easier than it really is. He'll look to open a few more eyes in 2019.

Akira Tozawa: One of the most resilient superstars I've ever been honored to watch inside a squared circle. His lovable personality matched with his poetic striking inside the squared circle makes him a fan-favorite. I have no doubt that the former Crusierweight champ will continue dropping our jaws on the floor this year.

With all of these remarkable athletes on the 205 Live roster, it's no surprise that the show has become a must-see commodity in the eyes of the WWE Universe.

With the addition of General Manager, Drake Maverick, it brings something special to the table by having an authoritative role on the show. The man is a brilliant speaker and has become the perfect face of the Cruiserweight brand. The show feels a whole lot more structured, a whole lot more entertaining, and a whole lot more important since Drake took the helm as GM. I've been a fan of his for years now, and it's incredibly awesome to see him excel in this role in WWE.

I want to thank every single superstar of the 205 Live roster, past and present, for putting it all on the line each and every week in hopes to make the Cruiserweight division the best it could possibly be. These men have passion for what they do, and they prove just that on a consistent basis. Their love for professional wrestling shines through each time they're given the opportunity to perform on Tuesday night.

These superstars have done everything in their power to make sure that every match they put on for the WWE Universe is met with a nod of approval, a standing ovation, and the infamous chant of “This is awesome!”

I look forward to watching them all continue to live out their dream and succeeding in making 205 Live the most exciting hour of television each week!
