manchester united Javier Hernandez Chicharito uses his head/little pea/Man Utd striker back header/headed goal/salary

Updated on December 8, 2010

Javier Hernandez

A breathe of fresh air is around Old Trafford at the moment and hopefully its the kick start to Manchester United's slow start to the season.New Mexican Summer signing Javier Hernandez is starting to look an absolute bargain in football terms at £7 million that Man Utd payed for him.Yesterday he proved what a shrewed signing he was by Alex Ferguson by bagging a brace at Stoke for Manchester United's first away win of the season.

Javier Hernandez somehow defied logic with a masterful piece of skill when he headed in the first goal for United. But this wasn't just any old header oh no Javier used the back of his head and with power drove the ball in to the back of The Potters net at the Britannia Stadium.

This header by Javier was no fluke either and the more you watch it the better it gets and i just cant help wondering if a certain Mr Wayne Rooney who was sunning himself in Dubai celebrating his new salary of £250,000 a week could of done the same.

As has happened so many times with Manchester United of late they conceded a goal to Stoke with 9 minutes remaining when Tuncay curled the ball into the back of the net beyond the reach of Edwin Van Der Sar.

Then up stepped the hero of the moment Javier Hernandez to slot in a close range shot from six yards to seal the victory for Manchester United.

Lets hope we see more of Javier this season but in this form and with his great talent he could help United this season to some silverware.

Javier Hernandez has followed in his Father and Grandfather's footsteps and played for his country.Javier otherwise known as the "Chicharito " (Little Pea) has become, in a very short time, a sensation in Mexican and English football ,Javier's skill and goal scoring are like second nature to him and i would expect to see him rated very soon as one of the top players in the world.
Javier born in 1988 began his senior debut for Chivas de Guadalajara in which he found the net Javier struggled for a first team place but when he did get a regular start he became a central figure in the team.

Before the 2010 world cup Javier Hernandez was the leading scorer in the 2010 Bicentenary tournament with ten goals in 11 matches and along with 4 goals in his first four international outings its no wonder Alex Ferguson was lured by the young strikers talents and strike rate in front of Goal.

As we all know Alex Ferguson normally gets what he wants and it was no different this time and in April of 2010 he became a new signing for the Old Trafford side to boost the already potent stike force of Rooney Berbatov and Nani.

attemptedhumour Well Berbatov is one of those players who seems to do alot but not get noticed but is very skillfull but still hasnt found the back of the net enough and for a striker thats not good enough.Yes United and Wolves Tonight in the Carling Cup and although Old Trafford is a tough place to get a result you never know Man Utd are more vulnerable than ever at the moment so your luck could be in and at 8/1 might be worth a flutter!!! i predict 2-1 United with Hernandez Scoring 1 of them. Thanks for reading and for your comments.Good luck mate!

I only watched the highlights package but that header defied physics. Wolves paid 6.5 mil for Steven Fletcher, so bargain is right, although Hernandez wouldn't go to a team like Wolves. Could he replace Berbatov? and score a few more goals. Only time will tell Prediction Man u 0 Wolves 1( S Fletcher) no harm in dreaming
