Holly Holm Is coming To The UFC

Holly Holm is coming to the UFC and sooner or later she will have her first bout. Who knows who it will be against, but when Holm does fight in the octagon, we can rest assure that she is going to do some damage and make a statement! She will also make a strong statement to Ronda Rousey, because Holm is an outstanding striker, and now that she is part of the UFC family, she can already be called the best striker in the UFC. At least that is what we think.

There is no ifs, nor buts, nor ands about it, she is definitely going to fight in the octagon, because she has already signed on the dotted lines, and she will be fighting a few battles. This is because the contract is a multi-fight contract, according to LA Times.

The contract was signed within the last two weeks of July 2014, so be patient and sooner or later we will see if Holm has what it takes to make it in the UFC. If you are familiar with her MMA career and boxing career, then you will probably agree with us when we say she definitely has what it takes to become a major draw in the UFC, and possibly be the first MMA fighter to defeat Ronda Rousey.

Cyborg In Action

Cyborg Will Drop Weight, Could Fight Ronda Rousey

Cristiane Justino, AKA Cyborg, has an MMA record of 12-1-1. The only match she lost was back in 2005, and the match that ended in no contest was in 2011. She is a great fighter and she is going to drop some weight and fight in the bantamweight division.

According to Bleacher Report, she could end up making her debut at that weight sometime in December. This is great news for MMA fans, because as you know Ronda Rousey fights in the division, and if Cyborg can win some matches in that division, then you can bet your last dollar that sooner or later Cyborg will fight Rousey.

Can you imagine if Rousey does face Justino? This would be one of the best female MMA fights that the UFC has ever had, at least on paper. Both of these female fighters are dominating opponent after opponent, and they rule in their division. Imagine if Cyborg can become dominate in the bantamweight division? If she does, we could finally see this dream fight.

Cyborg dropping weight is one step closer to seeing a match between two of the best female MMA fighters in the world today.

Gina Carano In Action

Gina Carano May Be Coming To The UFC

Gina Carano last fought in an MMA match in 2009, and it was against Cyborg. Cris Justino is the only MMA fighter who ever defeated Carano, who has a record of 7-1. Now there are rumors that Carano is ready to return to the world of MMA. Dana White himself has said he is meeting with her, according to Fox.

It is no secret that Carano hasn't fought in about 5 years, and when and if she returns, the first opponent she fights should not be Ronda Rousey. Rousey keeps getting better and better, and Carano may have a lot of ring rust, due to not fighting for such a long time. If she returns to MMA she could end up being tossed into the octagon with the likes of Miesha Tate, but again Tate is an elite fighter and Carano may not stand a chance against her, at least not if she is fighting Tate after not fighting for 5 years.

MMA fans around the world want to know if Carano is coming back to MMA, and it looks as if they will get their answer by the time July comes to an end.
