GalaxyRat is a brown belt II in Krav Maga, and has much experience with hand to hand combat.

What's the First Rule of Fight Club?

No, you can talk about this Fight Club. Our first rule is: Self Defense Has No Rules. NO rules. Once that person has his fingers around your neck, his gun to your chest, or his knife to your head, you are not human anymore. You are a wild animal. Slashing, biting, yowling, and sticking tweezers in people's eyes (more on using everyday objects as weapons later) is completely in the law. But, knowing Krav Maga can greatly increase your chances of getting out alive. One punch, they're down. That's what I'm aiming to teach you to do.

Krav Maga? What's That?

It's Israeli Street Fighting, a combination of kickboxing and karate. You'll like it.

What Will You Be Teaching Me?

I will be teaching you how to throw the different punches, kicks, and how to preform the defenses, and how to use everyday objects as weapons. You may wanna have a partner with you. And, remember, you do this stuff at your own risk. Follow my instructions so you don't get hurt!

What Defenses?

How to ward off a bear hug, choke, throw, etc from all sides. I will be teaching what I know.

Why Will This Be Helping Me?

You wanna get home safely, correct?

What Is Your Aim?

My aim is to help you and your family stay protected. There are evil people all over the world: thieves, muggers (etc). It's my job to keep you safe, my job to teach you that there are no rules. No rules at all. But, with a couple punches and kicks, you should be able to say when your family sees you, "You should see the other guy!"

Do ya wanna learn?

      Hey Mamerto,

Yep. You can literally do anything when it comes to self defense. You can pour oil or booze or anything that'll catch fire on your enemy's clothes and then light 'em up if you've got time. Thanks for reading and commenting!

      Hi John,

Thanks for the encouragement! Will be writing the next lesson soon.

As a stick fighter I agree that real fights have no rules!
