MY TOP 25 POWER RANKINGS FOR COLLEGE FOOTBALL (WEEK 5)
Week 5 Top 25 Teams
In my opinion college football can be a biased sport, especially when it comes to preseason polls. They mean nothing since teams haven't played a game yet. I like to watch teams for about a four week period before I rank them that is only fair I think. USC, Arkansas, Michigan and Wisconsin are some teams that were highly ranked in the top 15 in the preseason rankings and come to find out they already have a lost, Michigan has two losses. I would also rank teams according to who they play and how they performed in those games. A perfect example of bias polling is 2004 Auburn they started the year at #17 and went on to go undefeated. Who's to say if they would have ranked teams after the four weeks of football it my would have made a difference, maybe. That year they never could pass undefeated Oklahoma and USC who started 1 & 2 in the preseason polls. So after watching teams after the first four weeks of football here my realistic top 25 going into week 5.
