My Top 25 Teams For Week 8 (College Football 2011)

Updated on October 18, 2011

Week 8 Top 25 Power Rankings

It is week 8 of college football and some teams has separated themselves from others. But there are teams that can throw a loop into the so called bcs standings. Right now there it looks like things are headed to some controversy at the end of the season again 8 undefeated teams in the top 10. Alabama and LSU will play each othere on Nov. 5 and you also will have Stanford playing Oregon as well although the Ducks already have one loss. We will also have Oklahoma playing Oklahoma State if those two teams be undefeated when they play in December. So you will have a possible three teams undefeated at the end of the season not to mention Clemson and Wisconsin that can finished undefeated as well or they could just win their respective conferences'. But there are some teams that can put more controversy and those teams are Arkansas, Texas A&M, Auburn, Oregon, Notre Dame and Kansas State. So now the so called playoffs games that some of the people that say "we don't need a playoff". Alabama/LSU, Oklahoma/Oklahoma State and Stanford/Oregon all will play each other and you will also have Kansas State having to play both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State too. But Clemson, Wisconsin and Boise State don't play any teams on the that I have just mention. And that's where the politics of college football come in at where you have people voting on who should play instead of playing it out on the field.

Here are my top 25 teams in college football. In my playoff system that I have devised there are about 10 playoffs teams at this moment and here are my top 25 teams that are playing for 10 playoff spots for my college football playoff system.

With the exception of Nebraska, Wisconsin hasn't really played any good teams this year. We'll see how good the Badgers are after they play both the Spartans and Buckeyes on the road these next two weeks. I agree that we need a playoff system like the pros have.
