We are three days into the 2012-13 NBA Season. Twenty rookies have played at least one game and scored points. Damian Lillard scored 23 points in Portland's win to go along with his eleven assists. Anthony Davis the #1 pick in the draft scored 21 points in New Orleans's lost. He grabbed seven boards also.

Not all rookies have played yet this season. We haven't seen the likes of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist or John Henson yet this season.

Jonas Valanciunas the #5 pick in the 2011 draft finally made his debut for Toronto. He scored 12 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Dion Waiters scored 17 points and grabbed two boards in his debut with Cleveland.

Season has just started but you can never start looking at the rookies to early. If season did end today this would be my ratings.

1. Damian Lillard 60 points

2. Anthony Davis 49 points

3. Dion Waiters 36 points

4. Jonas Valanciunas 34 points

5. Bernard James 23 points

6. Bradley Beal and Klye Singler 22 points

8. Jae Crowder 20 points

9. Kim English 19 points

10. Austin Rivers 17 points

The best thing I love about the NBA is watching rookies make there mark on the league. The season is long and lots of things can change. Besides the ten i mentioned watch for these rookies also Harrison Barnes, Meyers Leonard, Tyler Zeller, Festus Ezeli and Evan Fournier.
