NFL Week 4

Week 4 is around the corner, and with that said we are almost a quarter of the season compete already. Week 4 of the NFL brings us with a lot of great match ups. We will see the first week that a couple teams will be on a bye( Carolina and Washington). We will also see 5 division match ups that should bring us a lot of scoring and a few surprises.

Game of the Week- Vikings and Rams

Recent years we have some a lot of divisional games and let's be honest a lot of boring games on the Thursday night sleight. But i can't say that this is the case here. We have probably the best game of the week. The Rams will be hosting the Minnesota Vikings.

What to Expect:

This game will have a lot of scoring and a game full with action. Vikings will be hot especially after that cold loss at home against Buffalo Bills in Week 3. Cousins and company will look to rebound after the surprising loss at home. Needless to say Vikings have the hardest game on their schedule against the Los Angeles Rams this season and this will be a hard game to win. We will be looking for Cousins to score 2 TD's and get 300 passing yards. Running game for the Vikings will not be doing well in a game against the best defensive front four in the NFL. Look for Stefon Diggs to have a bounce back game and get you 10 grabs for about 140 yards and a score. Adam Thielen will not get a touchdown in this game as the Rams have one of the best slot receiver covers in the NFL. Look for Kyle Rudolph to get another touchdown and 4 catches for 65 yards.

On the other side of the field, I believe Gurley will continue to produce and will get a score and 120 rushing yards. Look for Brandon Cooks to have a field day against a banged up secondary for the Vikings. Cook will have 2 scores and 150 yards and 10 grabs. Jared Goff will have an average Goff day 300 yards 3 touchdowns.

This game will be a shot-out. I predict this game to go over on the under/over line. Prediction: Vikings 23-35 Rams.

Divisional Match-Ups

We have a total of 5 games this week that will be divisional match-ups. We have let me Bold this First Place Miami Dolphins facing the New England Patriots. This one will be an ugly game. After and embarrassing outing the Patriots will go out and try and avoid third straight loss in a row. Dolphins haven't made a huge impression on anybody. They have simply played some not so good teams and have came up with the wins. On The other side Patriots need this win to turn their season around. Prediction here is a New England win.

Houston Texans - Indianapolis Colts

Colts had a tough outing last week, but I believe they will be back home and will come up with the win against a not so well rounded Houston Texans team. A know a 0-4 start for the Houston Texans will put Bill O'Brien on the hot seats, but i just can't see the Texans winning this game against the Colts in Indy. Prediction is Colts win this game.

Seattle Seahawks- Arizona Cardinals

This game seems like a no brainer to take the Seahawks to win this game. With a rookie quarterback for Arizona, and not a lot of offensive weapons, I know David Johnson is a beast, but he can't help the Cardinals win this one this week, no matter how good Rosen plays, this is a Seattle win.

Baltimore Ravens - Pittsburgh Steelers

Steelers finally won a game. Is the Le'veon Bell era over? Will he be heading to the New York Jets? Well Steelers are not worried about is as James Connor has stepped up to the plate and delivered. Antonio Brown has also been a very reliable target for Big Ben, and as far as for Ju Ju Smith Schuster, he is unstoppable. Ravens defense has been playing very well and have been consistent. Joe Flacco has been the average Joe as we know it. He exploded week 1 against a very weak Bills secondary. I can't see him go off against Steelers secondary with Haden back in the line. This will be a close game especially being a Sunday Night Football. Prediction here is Steelers win a close one 24-23.

Denver Broncos - Kansas City Chiefs

Should we even talk about this game and this match up between Keenum and Mahomes? Well it is a divisional game and this will be a close game and I can't see Patrick Mahomes slowing down anytime soon. This will be another great game for Mahomes. I am not going to say he will get 3,4,5 touchdowns but he will have a good day. This being his first Prime Time game there is going to be some pressure to get over with. Denver will keep this game close, but it won't be enough to stop, Mahomes, Kelce, Hill, and Hunt from winning this one and put the Chiefs up to 4-0 start. Prediction for this game is Kansas City Chiefs win.

Other Notable Match ups

There a few other games that will attract a lot of attention. Here is our best choices:

Detroit Lions - Dallas Cowboys

After what we saw on Monday Night Football, Detroit Lions are red hot and will continue to roll, and will get their second win of the season. A really bad Cowboys team, no offensive line, no defense, no receiving threats? This will be all Detroit.

Cleveland Browns - Oakland Raiders

The Browns will win two games in a row. I am not sure how long ago was the last time this happened, but the new Browns look is a good look. Baker Mayfield is going to be looking to get his first win as the starter for the Cleveland Browns. Oakland is not playing well on both sides of the ball. Sadly to say, but Raiders will be 0-4 after week 4 and that 10 year $100 million Gruden contract doesnt look good so far. Browns win this one.
