Packers- Still unbeaten, still at the top. Rodgers is like Superman with the Fantastic 4 to throw to. It's almost not fair.
Lions- Destroying Cutler doesn't seem to be much of a task this year, but 5-0 regardless of your competition makes you one of the best.
Saints- Saints have played a tough schedule and have come out 4-1. Every game has been close and they will lose some of those, but they are still the best team in the South right now.
Patriots- Despite the worst defense in the league, they continue to win. I do see them dropping without Chung and Mayo in the lineup.
Ravens-This D is like a fine wine apparently, and the offense seems to finally be clicking...here and there. Get consistent and you'll move up.
Bills- Losing to the Bengals almost drops them out of the top 10, but we don't know how good or bad that Cincy team is yet, they are playing well.
Steelers- Just when you think Roethlisberger isn't going to play he puts up 5 TD's with no running game and dominate with no Harrison on D. This team makes me sick, but they are always good.
49ers- Alex Smith seems to be getting some consistency under the same program and Harbaugh patched together a solid defense. Great job!
Chargers- I don't like putting this team here, but who else can I. They haven't beaten anyone with authority, but they did win through September, which is something they aren't accustomed to doing.
Raiders- Was it playing hard for Al Davis or just being that good. I think they are that good, pounding the Jets and now beating the Texans. This team is playoff bound if they can beat the Chargers.
Texans- This team is good, but still doesn't know how to win consistently yet. They may be challenged by Tennessee if that team figures out who they are as well.
Jets- The problem with this team is they have players that they want to be someone they aren't. Sanchez is not an elite QB and never will be. Shonn Greene will never be a consistent elite running back. And that stout D looks awful against the rush this year.
Redskins- They really haven't beaten anyone so I'm not sold on them yet, but they are winning the division, so I have to put them here.
Giants- This team is so disappointing. Injuries are catching up with them, and Eli's receivers continue to let him down in clutch times. They are the best of the East, so I think they will get it together and come out on top.
Bears- The Bears defense is a huge concern, giving up over 400 yards every game this year for the first time in franchise history through the first five weeks. Cutler won't make it through mid season if that line doesn't start protecting him. Third place for the Bears, where I had them at the beginning of the year.
Titans-The Bi-polar Titans have yet to find a true identity. Hasselback plays very inconsistent and Chris Johnson doesn't appear to be worth the money he held out for so far this season. Who are you guys? The team that pounded the Ravens or got stroked by the Steelers?
Falcons- I'm personally upset with this team because I have Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, and Julio Jones on my fantasy team. They've played a tough schedule, but it's going to be tough to make the playoffs this year because they obviously won't win this division.
Buccaneers- WOW...this team is not the contender that everyone thought. Very inconsistent because they are young still. They nearly got beat by the Colts and were throttled by the 49ers. A lot of work to do for Morris.
Seahawks- Beating the Giants was quite an accomplishment, and they seem to be stringing together some wins. The Rams and Cards don't seem to be a threat, so they will have to contend with the 49ers if they want another playoff appearance.
Bengals- Who are these guys? They play everyone tough and the young QB Dalton seems to be playing well. The defense looks really good too. A winning record and sitting near the top of a tough division early is a good sign so far.
Panthers- I thought this team would still be in the bottom of the barrel again this year, at least for a while, but they proved me wrong by taking Cam Newton, who seems to be one of the best athletes in the league. Let's see if he can become one of the best QB's. Steve Smith is having the best year of his career as well.
Cowboys-Romo takes a lot of grief, but who is better out there to lead this team? It's not all his fault. It's the lack of a consistent healthy running game, receivers that can't stay healthy, a defense that cannot stop people when they need to, and yes, Romo does make a lot of mistakes. I was never a believer of this team, and I'm still not.
Eagles- I was skeptical from the start of this talent coexisting, and it turns out I was right. Vick turns the ball over way too much, and Nnamdi was overrated and over paid. They will win games, don't get me wrong, but it's going to be tough to crawl out of this hole and make the playoffs because I believe the Gmen are better and already a game up on them.
Vikings- McNabb is washed up, so give it to your playmaker, the best back in the league. Yeah, it was the Cardinals, but A.P. is a beast and needs to touch the ball 30 times a game for this team to have a chance to win games, but they are already out of contention in that division.
Browns - It's no surprise that this is my favorite team, and I hate having them this low. They seem to be making strides then injuries and foolishness always seems to get in the way. Hillis is complaining now about not feeling appreciated because his agent has him brain-washed. Shut up and just play ball Hillis, put up numbers like last year (which you've failed to produce thus far) and you will get paid. Holmgrem is a great GM and will make it happen.
Broncos- It's apparently Tebow time in Denver. The crowd bullied John Fox into this decision, but Kyle Orton wasn't helping his situation any throwing the most picks in the league thus far. They have no running game, and that's the element Tebow brings that Orton can't. Orton is definitely the better QB, but Tebow is multi-talented and will run and throw.
Dolphins- Henne is out for the year so I should have this team lower. They say Sparano's job is "safe" for now, but that just means they can't find anyone to take the job yet, but when they do, you better believe he will be gone.
Chiefs- A big comeback win over the Colts doesn't mean much. If Manning played in this game, the Colts would've scored 48 and it wouldn't have mattered that Cassel torched the Colts D for four TD's. They are bad on defense and Cassel is very shaky. They seem to be playing a little better, but there's too much talent in the AFC.
Rams- People ask what happened to this team, but they did go 7-9 last year, which isn't anything to brag about. Bradford is in a sophomore slump with no running game and still no receivers. You'll draft high next year.
Jaguars- Del Rio's days are numbered here, so he's trying to pull out all the stops. Gabbert isn't going to be able to save the coaches job this year, and they can't compete with Houston in that division.
Colts- Painter to Garcon looks good, but no running game and no defense will still equal no wins. This team would still be .500 if Manning was playing. They are not good.
Cardinals - High expectations for Kolb haven't been met. He didn't really play that many games to warrant such a contract in my opinion, and Wells still can't stay healthy. This team is the worst in the league right now and have a lot of work to do. They shouldn't stay here long, but for now they need to get it together.
