NFL Quarterbacks partying

Updated on May 12, 2011

In the NFL, quarterbacks are the most renowned and well known. With the amount of money that they make it is easy to get in the spotlight even when they are not playing football. There have been a few of them that party more then others and have been caught in the act.

I'm not saying that they don't have the right to party with their friends, because they do, as long as it doesn't effect their performance on the field, I say party away. I do find it funny that the media blows it out of porportion when an NFL quarterback is caught on film partying. To me it's no big deal. In college and in my twenties, I had my share of party moments myself and it's all a part of growing up. Booze and women went hand in hand. Of course, being high profile people, they probably have a lot more women hanging around them then I ever did.

In todays internet world, they have to be more careful. If there is a picture of a NFL QB partying, you can bet it will be out there for the world to see and judge them on it. Believe me, there were plenty of former NFL quarterbacks that partied like crazy every night, there was just not the exposure that today's sports personalities have. In the past, there were no cell phones with digital cameras or the internet. These have been huge reasons why today's NFL stars need to watch what they are doing.

Life and young rich sports stars don't change, just their privacy does.
