Paintball* @ Linglestown PA* (instead of war)*

Updated on October 6, 2012

All wars should be handled this way ! ....

.... and that goes for the so called drug war, and certainly the war between the sexxes, married or not.

War and war games never hit a chord in my psyche, after the age of 10 or 15. Sure I played army, da da da dow, with the neighbor kids, after watching 'Combat' on TV, holding my stick like a gun. But when I got a BB gun, and my Dad shot me on the ass to show me how it hurt so I wouldn't shoot another, I grew-up. This isn't any fun anymore! People get hurt from this shit!

Wars are what we love to hate.

I never understood why it seems nobody else got this message. Wars are fought by governments, not the people. People are killed in wars, not governments. And yet the wars keep coming with different reasons for them. There has never been a time in my life, or my parents, or their parents, or their parents, when there was no wars. We have all been war-torn children for as long as there's been people to die for them. This is so truly sad.

We've been out of touch with peace for so long, we think war is peace, or war will lead to peace. When has war ever led to peace? .....NEVER. We like war so much we vote for 'warmonger dicks' every four years, or give them a second term. They run for president and say they will attack and/or invade so and so if elected, and people go gaga and jump on board. The logical one running for president, the one with peacful intent and with the best ideas for America's future, is left on the sidelines scratching their head! (WTF) US crazy Americans

I say exchange all weapons and bullets for paintball gear. Have an exchange program where gun owners can bring in their killer weapon for a new paintball firearm. Design fields for the governments who disagree, or don't like the other's God, so they can have their battle there. They could even have paintball bombs to strap around their waist if some of the players feel the holy need to be a suicide bomber. Cool.

Hey, this way everybody could go home when the wars over, with a winner decided. Imagine the money and lives we could save. There would be no debt. There would be no hate. There would be no hunger. There would only be everlasting peace and love for our fellow man, woman and child. And whenever there was a disagreement of any kind, all ya had to do was meet at the nearest Paintball field, say, the one in Linglestown PA, R O C K S, and take out your frustrations there. No more a need or a reason to die for your country. No more a need to make another die for their country.

And anyway, what part of "thou shall not kill" don't you understand ?

Hi John. I agree with the first comment, you really did make some good ,or in my view even great points. I especially liked " When did war ever lead to peace" how true.

Hi there phoenix, and thanks. So sad but: like Ron Paul it (he) will work fine for the country, but big gov would loose money. Like the drug war: too much money in it to stop. There's more money to be made with more tyranny and wars than with more freedom, peace, and love. Strange as hell. I N S A N E

You've made some very good points. I think the paintballing idea is worth a try. War isn't working so why not give it a try?
