U.S. History Buffs - Much to Learn in Selma, Alabama

At least once in your lifetime, every U.S. History buff simply has to visit the Edmund Pettus Bridge where on “Bloody Sunday” March 7, 1965 , 600 protesters gathered in Selma during the Civil Rights movement to march for their rights on U.S 80 to the state capital in Montgomery. In addition, near the bridge, you can visit the National Voting Rights Museum and Institute and the Museum of Slavery and Civil Rights.
