Mr. Football

Peyton is known as a team leader who shows up early for practice and is usually the last one to leave. He is always calm and cool under pressure. They call him the Sheriff because of the way he is in control. Manning is the King of the hurry up offense. Manning played football in college for the Tennessee Volunteers and even made it to the SEC Championship his senior year in 1997. He was drafted as the number one pick by the Indianapolis Colts and played 14 seasons with them capturing a Super Bowl ring and a Super Bowl MVP in the process. He appeared in another Super Bowl also even though he lost that one. As an individual player he is amazing and he holds the record for Most Valuable Player awards with four. Manning is the all time leader in passing yards and touchdowns for the Tennessee Vols and the Indianapolis Colts. He holds many NFL records and he is number 2 or 3 on most other records that he is trying to break. Even in high school he was voted the Gatorade high school football player of the year. He was groomed for football greatness and he continues to amaze after sixteen seasons with the Colts. He now lights up the Denver Broncos like no one has since the great John Elway. Although Manning is not a good running quarterback he can scramble around in the pocket like nobody's business. Not to mention he is deadly accurate and a true student of the game even after all these years. His QB passer rating is always very high usually over 100 and he also throws very few interceptions. He also tied the single game touchdown record by throwing seven touchdowns while playing with the Denver Broncos. There are not enough good things to be said about Peyton Manning. He is a great person off the field as well.

Final Thoughts.......

Peyton Manning is a leader and he is humble. He is a good ole' southern boy. Although, he is a major part of a football teams success when he plays he is one quarterback that gives credit to his teammates and coaches. A true gentlemen. He always gives his all during a game even when they are losing badly. He is a nice guy and a very hard worker. In between football you can find Peyton Manning doing charity work and he is a constant presence in television commercials. He has his own charity called The Peyback Foundation. His work ethic, skill and determination are admirable and he is without a doubt one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history. And finally Peyton is obviously in great condition and lives healthy because as he enters his late thirties he does not appear to be slowing down at all. If he plays much longer he will end up breaking Bret Favre's records because as of now he is hot on his trail ready to own all the passing records. He inspires his team on offense as he constantly teaches them and of course sets the ultimate example by playing as hard as he does and practicing diligently.

Legend of The Gridiron

Peyton Manning has resurrected his career by putting up big numbers for the Denver Broncos. Manning holds many NFL passing records and in his mid thirties he does not appear to be slowing down.
