Seasons Beatings - Christmas With The WWE Divas and TNA Knockouts
Seasons Beatings - WWE Divas in The Santa's Little Helpers Matches and TNA Knockouts in the Santa's Workshop Street Fights!
There are many, many types of matches in pro wrestling.
You have the Barbed Wire Match, the Iron Man Match, the Monster's Ball Match, the Ultimate X Match etc.
And in female wrestling, you have a few other variations, anything from mud wrestling, to the bra and panties match to jello wrestling.
But with this being the Holiday season, I thought I would mention the (::sigh::) Santa's Little Helper Matches in the WWE, and the TNA Knockouts Santa's Workshop Street Fight.
Because does anything say "Christmas" like beautiful women in skimpy Holiday themed outfits beating the crap outta each other?
I thought not.
WWE - The Santa's Little Helper Match
The WWE started all of this with their "Santa's Little Helper Match".
(I really think the Simpsons should sue them for that)
This involves the beautiful WWE Divas dressing up in suggestive Christmas outfits and going at it in the ring.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is real American wrestling.
(You can't see it, but I'm doing the face-palm now)
The oldest Santa's Little Helper Match I could find any record of was 2002, and that one was Trish Stratus, Stacy Keibler and Jacqueline wrestling Molly Holly, Ivory and Victoria.
TNA Knockouts Santa's Workshop Street Fight
Of course not to be outdone, the TNA wrestling promotion came up with it's own variation of the idea, the TNA Knockouts Santa's Workshop Street Fight.
(TNA, you really could have just let the WWE have that one...really)
I think the first one TNA ever had was back in 2007.
I wanted to show you a match that had Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, Christy Hemme, Ms. Brooks, Jackie Moore, ODB, Roxxi Leveaux, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky, BUT I couldn't find it on a Video site that Hub Pages supports, so I'll have to make do with this link...
iMPACT 2008: TNA Knockouts Christmas Match
12 Divas Jingle Belles Match (2013)
In December of 2013, the WWE revived the "Christmas Match" with a twelve Diva "Jingle Belles Match".
This time they had the cast of their "Total Divas" reality show in the ring, all dressed in Christmas attire going up against the "regular" WWE Divas.
The "Total Divas" vs the regular Divas was a thing then.
I think they have kinda gotten away from that now though.
Don't worry...it was just as dumb as you think it would be.
There were a few moments of actual wrestling...a very few...but mainly just dumb.
