Tim Tebow starts a new craze

I was listening to my favourite afternoon radio programme whilst I was at work the other day. They have a section in it which reviews new things going on around the world and this thing called Tebowing was mentioned as a new craze sweeping the world.

It didn't go into great detail but was sufficient to whet my appetite and to look into it a little further.

Here goes.

Named after the N.R.L quarter back Tim Tebow but not the first person to have invented the craze. It was in fact invented by Jared Kleinstein.

Said to be the sport's equivalent of planking and now forms the content of a new blog called

Back to Jared Kleinstein or the Godfather of Tebowing. Kleinstein has recently popularised the concept after watching the Broncos against Gators game. Tim Tebow during the game got down on one knee and in the 4th Quarter as pictured after an amazing comeback in the game.

On his way home from the game Kleinstein convinced his friends to start' Tebowing' as it was now to be called and photograph themselves in different locations then post the pictures on the internet. Never expecting this to be come popularised, people are now taking part in this craze all over the world.

As if this wasn't enough it has even been reported on in The Wall Street Journal no less.

This is what the inventor of this craze has done. Now I wonder when he first thought of this idea that he believed there could be a commercial venture in this. With a range of T Shirts already on Spreadshirt for sale and they look great, by the way, he is well on his way to success. Harnessing the power of the internet and the way new crazes take off he has already got sports people, celebrities as well as the general public involved in this activity.

Never underestimate the power of a simple Blog. If you have the right content and it has what people are searching for then you will never look back. This was a very clever marketing decision however accidental it was. Set up on a tumblr blog initially I bet he never even thought it would be the overnight success it is proving to be.

There are no hard and fast rules to Tebowing as such. The main thing is that you do it whlist everyone around you is doing something completely different.

Don't forget to get a friend to photograph you whilst doing it and upload your photo to the official Tebowing.com website.

Proof that anyone can invent a new phenomenon is here in this article. All you have to do is actually act on the inspiration which manifests itself to you.

By not acting or being aware you are missing out on achieving a dream in your life. We all want to be successful but don't always realise what it will be which will make us successful. This inspired action taken by Jared Kleinstein has led to a new craze and being talked about all over the world, not only on social networking sites,but on radio t.v and in the media.

I am sure that we all have in us at least one shot at becoming successful by acting on our ideas. The key is just that, taking action with blind faith and expecting that it will not fail. I am sure that Tebowing inventor Jared Kleinstein soon realised exactly what he had done when his baby began moving like a train. Momentum starts and you cannot stop it. Getting our plans off the ground just means getting past the inertia stage. Get past that and you will not stop the thing.
