Texas Rangers Ballpark: A Walk-off Homerun any Way you look at it

The Rangers Ball Park has Heart

Texas Rangers Ballpark is the jewel of Arlington. Sure Jerry's house is huge but Ranger's Ballpark has heart. It is up close and personal. The fan's feel it. The players feel it. Take a look around and see what is happening inside and within eye-site of the park. The cost of a ticket is very reasonable. Often the promos received are worth the price of the ticket. This weekend it was a concert by "Casting Crowns" which was free with the price of the ticket as well as a little backpack with the team logo on it.

Casting Crowns Concert

Everyone now recognizes Josh Hamilton, the player who had a second chance in life and is making good as a ball player and as a Christian. Yes, he has messed up now and then, but haven't we all? Josh has been a spokesman for his Christian faith and I imagine he has been instrumental in helping to get at least one great Christian concert each year at the park. The concert was excellent and well attended. One member of the group sang the U.S. National Anthem to open the ball game.

Rangers fans are fun, exciting, and exude enthusiasm. We are currently working on a record breaking number of sellout games at the Rangers Ballpark. What's not to like. We have a great park, wonderful food, a good price and a super team. How can you beat three back to back home runs one day and a walk-off home run in the 13th inning the next?

It is almost impossible to pass up food at the ballpark. You can go in cheap if you have a family and the finances are tight. The park allows you to bring in food and drinks from outside, as long as their are no cans or glass jars. They will inspect your bag. However, if you have the funds, try out some of the food. They get quite creative with brats that appear to be about 2 feet long and are covered with all kinds of creative toppings, huge pretzels, and ribs or brisket. The diamond club serves up a great buffet. If you get reservations shortly before the start of the game, you can spend the game with a great view and dinner.

The Texas Rangers are a great team, managed by a great coach. It is a privilege to be able to attend a family oriented event in such a great location with people who make it an enjoyable experience. This year we purchased a 20 game ticket so we can get on the short list for post-season tickets. A big thank you to all of the Ranger's team who make this possible. Lenzy

Thank you bdegiulio. Boy were you quick getting to this hub. I think it was about 10 minutes at most since I published it. I spent a good part of last night and most of the day today working on it so I am glad you liked it. Thanks. Lenzy

Lenzy, what a great Hub. Your photos are amazing and the food there, wow. I will say that it's great that they allow fans to bring food and drinks into the park. I'm not sure too many other ball parks allow that. But I think that's how it should be. For those going to a game with kids it can get pretty expensive so why not cut them a break and allow them to bring their own? Kudos to the Texas Rangers. And what a year Josh Hamilton is having. Good for him for turning his life around. He's having an MVP season so far.
