Best Player Ever
Simply The Best
One of my favorite NBA All-star game was the 2003, it was the last All-star game of the legend Michael Jordan. A lot of his fans were pretty emotional on that game. NBA players that growing up watching Jordan were celebrating the career of him and all he has done for the NBA.
All players that been voted to played for that event were stunned on Jordan last All-star Game performance. In order to play, players needed to be voted by the fans, players from the Eastern side and Western side needs a vote to get to the All-Star Game, the most votes a player gets they will have a chance to play. The Eastern players were Allen Iverson, Tracy Mcgrady, Vince Carter, Jermaine O’neal, and Ben Wallace they were the starting five for the east. The remaining players that were voted were Michael Jordan, Jamal Masburn, Antoine Walker, Jason Kidd, Paul Pierce, Brad Miller.
It’s pretty interesting that Michael Jordan is not included in a starting five but Vince Carter as a big Michael Jordan fan he paves the way for Jordan to be in the starting five. Jordan accepted Carter’s offer. Jordan was very thankful to Vince, and admires him for his decision. I think Vince is very respectful to a person he was looking up, and myself was admiring what Vince did.
The Western players were Steve Francis, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, and the chinese player Yao ming. The other players included were Shaquille O’neal, Stephon Marbury, Gary Payton, Chris Webber, Shawn Marrion, Peja Stojakovic, and Steve Nash. It was a entertaining game, a lot highlights was shown, Vince Carter for the East was making alley-Oop dunks, and Michael Jordan putting up his show, shooting anywhere and anytime he wants, Allen Iverson and Tracy Mcgrady were having fun shooting everywhere, behind the three point line and inside the three point line.
Meanwhile Western Team have something to say about it and put a show as well, Shaquille O’neal and Kobe Bryant dominating for the west with Kevin Garnett scoring a lot inside. Tim Duncan and Steve Nash doing their thing, helping in scoring task. The game was close until the final minute, i remember as the game was tied and the time remaining was 20 seconds left, the east had their ball, and The legend Michael Jordan has the ball. dribbled the ball down to the side of the basket and made a shot over the outstretched arm of Shawn Marion and drills the ball to lead the east by two points.
As far as i remember there was couple of seconds left when Kobe Bryant shoot the ball from behind the three point line and Jermaine O’neal fouled him as the buzzer sounds. Kobe made 2 shots out of 3 and the game was tied. In overtime Western Conference players flexed their muscles and win the game. it was one of my favorite All- star game that I’ve seen, one of the best All-Star Game i had seen. This is Michael Jordan's last All-Star Game appearance and this is the last season of his wonderful career. Kevin Garnett was named MVP on this event.
The Best Team Ever
By far the Best team
NBA season is an 82 games and 6 months long, Each team will play 41 games at their home and they will play 41 games at opposing teams home floor, it means 41 games at home and 41 games on the road around the United States. it is hard to win a single game because of level of competition is high. Especially at the road it is a lot harder to win a game, they will travel city by city and they do practice after traveling, and the crowd will be not on your side. they will yell against you, they will bother you to distract your game. if you are not focus enough, your game will be out of control.
It is a long and tiring season, there are a lot of setbacks throughout the season will happen, a lot of things might happen during the season. But in the end of the day if you stick with your game plane every single game and the cohesiveness with your teammates, the team will be in good position to be on top.
These both teams were in the NBA history book, with their Win-Loss record was already in the record book. The 1996 Chicago Bulls Team (72-10) and the 2016 Golden State Warriors Team (73-9) were among the best record in a single season. That was a remarkable Win-Loss record ever recorded, because the average Win-Loss record in a single season is 60 to 65 wins. You will get that win if they are healthy enough to play and if they are locked in as a team. Most probably your are best team for that year when there is camaraderie. The 1996 Chicago Bulls team were consist of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Ron Harper, and Australian Luc Longle as their starting five.
Their defense made them the best team in the 90's era, they were dominating that era, with Michael Joradn’s ability to score anytime he wants, the defense of Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman were exceptional. And their supporting casts were contributing big, that is why they were called " The Best Team Ever ". The 2016 Golden State Warriors team consists of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andrew Bogut. This team does good only in outside shootings, unlike the Bulls team they are not tight on defensive end. They loved to score from behind the three point line and to the perimeter inside the arch.
While the ChIcago Bulls team in the 90's they were strong inside and outside, it is hard to score against their defense, even to rebound the ball, I guess it is impossible for the Warriors to score against this Bulls team led by Michael Jordan. If they will play on a best of seven series, I'm pretty sure Bulls will win.
1996 Chicago Bulls:
Outside Game – 8 Inside Game – 8 Defense – 9 Clutch Game – 9
2016 Golden State Warriors:
Outside Game – 9 Inside Game – 6 Defense – 5 Clutch Game – 7
My pick on this I would say CHICAGO BULLS team will win.
