“I’m Still Here!…Friends, please don’t mourn for me, I’m still here…”, Funeral Poem ~ Author Unknown

I must admit it.

It was fascinating to see Tiger Woods fall from grace and watch him try to answer all of those embarrassing questions, but he seems to be almost all the way back now and maybe on track to regain his pursuit of Jack Nicklaus’ record.

And you ( and I ) have to say, the game of Golf is a lot better off now that Tiger is returning seemingly to his old form.

Holy Cow!

I've not seen a professional athlete’s reputation crash and burn like that, since Pete Rose.

For the longest time Tiger Woods would just put the Fear of God on the rest of the field whenever he played, like a young Mike Tyson use to do when he built a reputation of leaving an assembly line like trail of knockout victims along his path.

All of his opponents would look defeated even before the first tee.

He was invincible. Then it all came crashing down on him.

His personal life and his game.

News Flash!

Tiger Woods was human after all like any one of us, and, like any one of us he had made some bad decisions.

“…This (whole) situation is my fault, and it’s obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I’m human and I’m not perfect…”, Tiger Woods

He was wounded, bleeding and vulnerable. Everybody lined up and took shots at him.

Now he seats at press conferences, and says: ‘’I remember there was a time when people were saying I could never win again,’’.

Which sounds pretty much a threat to all of his enemies and the people he thought were his friends.

I like this new Tiger Woods. The feeling of entitlement he had seems to be all gone. You just have to love it when you hear the cautionary tones all the other Golfers, experts and announcers use now when they speak about him.

Even if you’re a casual Golf fan ( like myself ), you've to admire how far Tiger has come. The man free-fell from somewhere beyond pass Celebrity Mountain.

A fall like that killed Pete Rose’s popularity, left Joe Paterno’s Legacy in ruins and reduced Mike Tyson into cameo appearances in the movies Hangover.

Tiger Woods’ Golf Game would not come out unscathed from the scandal, honestly…How could it?

The fact that his career appears to be back on the right path…is remarkable!

His mode, nowadays, seems to be the one of a prize-fighter that was beaten up and even knockdown, but has gotten off the canvas floor to finish the fight.

I think Tiger realized, “Whatever doesn't kill you…makes you stronger!”

Winning The Players Championship must have been specially sweet for him and even though, he has not won a major just yet, you really have to admire The Comeback.

Looking back at Tiger Wood’s indiscretions, I couldn't help thinking…he was not the exemption, he was the rule!

Money, fame, family and a beautiful wife were all his, and he messed up the whole thing anyway.

Other golfers, reporters and just about everybody else in the world always had accused him for years of being almost a robotic-like human.

As it turns out Tiger was a regular guy like anyone of us, with a hell of a lot more money than us, but a regular guy nevertheless.

So the fact that he married a Hot Swedish Super Model like Elin Woods ( Formerly Elin Nordegren) did not matter, at the end he just messed all up.

Welcome to the Man Cave also known as the Home of the Flaw, just pull up a chair and seat right next to any of us, Tiger.

We all walk on this Earth by the Grace of God and just because you can dunk a basketball or hit a baseball…does not make you immune to the bad things in life. I know quite few of us know some cheating, gambling, alcoholic types.

Charles Barkley once said ~ “I’m not a Role Model…” and the press crucified him because of those words, but…

just because Michael Jordan made game winning shots, Josh Hamilton can hit a baseball a country mile or Tiger Woods was invincible on the PGA Tour for years, just does not make them immune to the bad things in life.

The fact that Tiger Woods seems to be once again nearing the top of his game, is just simply unbelievable.

Whenever I see him play nowadays and remember the way he was hammered publicly…

I toast to him “ May your troubles be less, and your blessings be more…my friend”.

Tiger still got it, but not like before. He just can't get his mojo back. Darn karma.

Hi Julio-thanks for sending the info to me. I remember the night I sat watching the news, observing Elin beating a car crashed into a tree with a golf club at 2 a.m. and I thought-oh, oh...someone's in the dog house. It was sweet irony that she used a golf club to smash the windows of that expensive car, lol. It had all the signs of a raging woman and my suspicions turned out correct-she had caught her husband cheating.

When it came out how many 'other women' there had been I again suspected a sex addiction. I'm glad he went into treatment for awhile and is now back at his game. I'm glad that she had the courage to follow what she felt was the best thing for herself. She is such a beautiful woman-stunning in her beauty, and wasn't enough. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about Tiger Woods.

Some men just never learn, do they? Here, Tiger had a beautiful wife and couldn't appreciate his life.

I voted this Hub UP, and will share.

I agree with Lady E on this one. It's a real shame they parted. A lesson to learn for him, I guess. But I think of it this way as well...both parties have to understand each other's needs!! Thanks, Jeomalz, for the share.

It's a pity they split up - Personally, I think some men find their women less attractive once they have had babies or they no longer enjoy time with each other. Happens so many times - (Tiger just got caught, many get away with it) hence the pressure on women to keep looking young. Speaking personally - I notice a lot of women want boob surgery after they have had a baby. Thousands. It's ridiculous (I wouldnt) but I'm beginning to understand why they constantly want lipo, botox and more.

Sorry for personal comment. They just were a lovely couple.

Asta la vista... to read more hubs.

Haha I Agree with sunshine625! That incident was so misfortunate for Tiger! One of the biggest fails in history.

I'll always remember the day there was Breaking News about Tiger getting into a car wreck and his wife busted out the back window to help save him. Haha! Like who was going to believe that. Since his house isn't far from mine I considered heading over there with the other voyeurs, but since I'm not a voyeur I didn't. Haha! What a mess he created. Who woulda thought?

I have to agree with GiancarloLorenzo....the pictures alone make this a hub to read and view. I agree with your thoughts in the hub....I imagine Tiger wishes he could go back in time and change his behavior. Voted up and interesting....job well done.

I really enjoyed this hub and agree with you wholeheartedly. It was amazing that he kept his secret so long. Funny you never heard about his women issues before marriage. Anyway he paid a dear price.

It's sad if such behavior is the rule. If we put our values first we have a chance against indiscretions.
