Which WWE Diva Is The Next to Leave?
Mendes has been with the company for nearly 9 years and made her debut in 2008. She had stints as Beth Phoenix’s sidekick, valet for Primo and Epico, and mostly recently as Fandango’s dancer. Aside from those roles, Mendes hasn’t been showcased much just mostly in backstage segments and occasional matches. With the latest announcement that she won’t be returning to Total Divas, it appears that Rosa could be receiving her walking papers soon.
Like Rosa, Layla is also a WWE veteran. In her 8 years with the company, she’s earned the titles of Diva Search winner, Women’s champion, and Diva’s champion. Her popularity soared when she teamed with good friend Michelle McCool to for the tag team LayCool. The team had a successful two-year run before McCool’s departure in 2011. Since then, Layla’s been sidelined with injuries and personal issues. It’s been 5 months since she last appeared on WWE programming and the odds aren’t looking good for her return.
The Bella Twins
In the season finale of Total Divas, the sisters contemplated leaving the company to move on to other ventures. Nikki and Brie Bella stared their careers as valets, then worked hard to become two of WWE’s successful women wrestlers by winning the Divas championships 3 times. They’ve been with WWE for 7 years and briefly took a hiatus in 2012 before returning a year later. Due to the success of Total Divas, the Bella Twins have gained popularity outside of WWE and would have no trouble finding other work if they decide to leave.
