The UEFA Champions League trophy is the "Biggest Prize" for football clubs in Europe. The two finalists have been determined after some very unpredictable and extraordinary Semi final matches. The German Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munchen and Borussia Dortmond head to the final at Wembley after an incredible campaign, making the 2013 Champions League Final an all-German affair. Spanish greats Real Madrid and Barcelona were left humiliated following their knocking out of the competition.
Below we have a look at the two teams heading towards the 2013 UEFA Champions League Final.

The German Bundesliga and cup champions came through as Group D winners, ahead of Real Madrid, Ajax and English Premier League Champions, Manchester City. Their ability to play against Europe's heavyweights has proven an advantage and assisted them on their journey to reach the Semi Finals.
Despite knocking out Spanish sides Malaga and Real Madrid, Borussia will head to Wembley with the intention of upsetting the 2013 German Bundesliga Champions, Bayern Munchen. Borussia Dortmund lost their first match in this year's Champions League competition in second leg of the semi final against Real Madrid. Borussia won the first leg 3-1 in Germany, but lost 2-0 in Spain for the return leg. They seemed to be holding on to the result during the final stages against Real Madrid because if they conceded one more goal they would have been knocked out.

FC Bayern Munchen
Last year's Champions League runners up started their campaign strongly with four wins, one draw and one loss. Bayern Munchen go through as winners of Group F as they look to add to their 4 Champions league titles.
Bayern Munchen has qualified through to the Semi Finals in very good form, defeating Juventus with a 2-0 scoreline on both occasions. Bayern have already won the German Bundesliga title away from Borussia Dortmund this season and look to win the Champions League title which eluded them last season in the final against Chelsea.
Bayern Munchen flexed their muscles against Barcelona, humiliating them with a 7-0 aggregate score in the process. Between the two Semi final ties this was the most surprising because Bayern's excellent defensive play did not allow their opponent to score even just one goal. This impressive result has made the bookmakers favor them to win the final against a very strong Dortmund side.
If you have a look at the competitions history or at least the previous five seasons you will notice a pattern. This pattern revolves around FC Barcelona. Barcelona won in 2008 and 2011; However the teams who defeated Barcelona in the semi-finals in 2007, 2009 and 2012 were the evential winners.
So my prediction is: If Barcelona do not reach and win the finals, then the evential winners will be the team which eliminates them.
